Hey Guys! Sharing a healthy soft idli recipe with ragi (finger millet). Finger millet is a good source of fibre, protein, calcium, amino acids, and vitamin D. It is completely gluten free and a great way to start your day! I bought this whole ragi grain from the local market. These days it is also seen in supermarkets. Do try to use whole grain when making dosa batter. ❤️Click To Subscribe/Skinny Recipes❤️ : goo.gl/9wwHdz ❤️INSTAGRAM ❤️instagram.com/nisahomey/

Hi Nisha. Thank you for these pearls of wisdom in the form of these recipes that we can pass down to our children as an investment in their health. Please help me as to the exact type of local rice that you use. What is it called? I mean what am I looking for if I'm looking for the same unpolished variety?
Just tried your recipe to boot. We have soft, sumptuous ragi idlis before us. Things that appear simple and easy to follow are often not so, but your recipes truly justify the cooking philosophy you emulate. To make anything simple, one has to go deep and tirelessly experiment to gain perfection. Thank you so much for that and everything else. Lots of love 💖🙏
Hi Nisha, they hv come out really fluffy. What'd be the ratio if i use ragi flour in place of whole grain? Dyu think it'll vary the nutritional nutritional element? Btw, jst a tip to u, given u use methi often: soak a cup of methi overnight n allow it to sprout the nxt day.. then park sprouted methi in fridge. It's long lasting. U can use it whenever required and it results in reduction of overall soaking time gvn methi calls for the longest soaking time compared to rice/millet/urad. And of course, added nutritive value of the output.
Hey Nisa...I'm really inspired by your healthy recipes. I had a query wrt to Ragi Idly batter. I live in Delhi..and recently bought Ragi powder to include it in multigrain atta. Could you kindly guide me to make Ragi Idly batter..with this powdered Ragi ?
