Nice install. RAM actually makes a wire run riser plate that goes under their mounts that you can feed the wires up through...I have them on my units and they worked great. Keep the vids coming man!
Yes it worked great! Just make sure to get the correct size for your transducer. I started with the smaller one but it wasn't strong enough, I ended up using the larger pad and no issues since. For prep on aluminum, if its bare aluminum, you could use aluminum brightener or a rough sanding of the area, then wipe down with acetone before application.

I saw that long after I got this installed haha but that would have been perfect! Thanks --
Do you have a link forbthe mount with the slot in it for wires
WHERE YOU MOUNTED THE TRANSDUCER DOES IT ALLOW YOU TO GET CLEAR READINGS OF SPEED, BOTTOM, ETC ONE ON PLAIN? GREAT VIDEO BTW!
Yes, no issues read at moderate-low speed. High speed I haven't had a transducer read on any boat.
Did the 3M pad / adhesive hold up over time? Any recommendations for the aluminum prep for the pad? Thanks in advance. 🙏

great content ! , do you recommend to plug your fishfinder on the motor battery or have a dedicated battery?
The less interference the better, a small lithium would be perfect. 5-10ah would run all day and then some
