STS Industries makes a short wire harness that plugs in between the main connector for the turn signals in the wire harness that is under the headlight cover. Cost around $12, completely plug and play, and takes less than 5 minuets to install. Just finished doing the LED turn signal conversion. When you are going to use a LED with a colored lens, make sure to use a LED the same color as the lens or you will just get a bright white spot and defeat the purpose of switching to LED's.
No problem. I just picked up a 2024 DR650 last week. Already replaced the turn signal assemblies with TST Industries LED Pods, replaced the tail light assembly, installed a LED headlight, deleted the upper chain roller. I got new valve covers with cooling fins from Shot Craft. One thing that you should do is remove the fuel line from the carburetor and pull out the little finger filter from the fuel inlet tube on the carburetor and replace it with a small inline fuel filter.
