To this day, I still cannot listen to the original versions of any of the songs in this medley without thinking of Selena, and how she knocked them out of the park. And I was born in the 70s, loved me some disco and still do, but Selena only made them better. To the point I prefer listening to this medley rather than the originals. She was a gem, a true talent, and still sorely missed. SELENA, her husband Chris, and her sis Suzette struggled in speaking fluent Spanish but SELENA was a quick learner even though there were a few bumps here and there lol. Idk about the brother A.B. whether he was already speaking it since growing up. SELENA worked hard and waited patiently in crossing over to performing an English Album as a crossover Artist. It was like an Apple dangling in front of her and just when she was about to grasp it...Such a shame. But her Album did manage to cross over though so I guess we must be thankful for this even if she didn't get to complete it.

Selena is a legend, let’s not forget she was also creating her brand as a stylist. She was one of the first artists to branch out into the fashion world. Selena’s voice gave me goosebumps ❤️🥺
The Queen of of Latin Music, talented and beautiful beyond measure. RIP La Reigna...
She always will be queen 💯🙏🏾🌎🕵🏾♀️🦅
My heart is joyous AND heavy at the same time when I watch this. Joyous because of her beauty, extraordinary talent, and her extremely positive vibe. Heavy heart because of her future being ripped away in such a heinous way. I wish she was still with us to see the love we feel for her now, even in 2019. It will never diminish...EVER!❤️💔
I can tell you're a true fan! I have that exact look when I watch her perform. God she was spectacular 💜👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 RIP deeply missed 🙌🏼
Amazing!!!... Selena forever 💜
Simply THE BEST OF THE BEST SELENA QUINTANILLA PEREZ
Selena is a legend, let’s not forget she was also creating her brand as a stylist. She was one of the first artists to branch out into the fashion world. Makes you really think what a mogul she was planning to be. I’m sure she’d be up there with Gucci. This woman thought up everything she wore. She was like Beyoncé and her mom rolled into one. Pure talent!
My favourite Selena performance just when you think your happy listening she adds more and more. I smile throughout this whole medley. Amazing rest in peace Selena.
My girl Selena was and is and will forever be the fucken best and it can nobody replace her never!!! Bro you just can't !!
Loved your reaction to her video. She was taken away too soon. She absolutely loved her fans and was a beautiful down to earth soul. RIP Selena
Why did tears run down my face watching this love her
Hermosa, la reina, the queen, a rainha!
!
Selena La Reina Forever ❤💖❤💖
Selena forever in our heart's!!!♡♡♡
Ugh miss her so MUCH! All natural, genuine, live vocals, dancing in heels, no mic pack or ear piece, no breaks, 1 take. The QUEEN/La REINA 💜👑 great reaction 😀
I love Selena! She was an amizing human
Selena was definitely a passionate singer ....she was also blessed to be in a musically talented family...it still amazes me how naturally gifted and beautiful she was.
If she had lived, she would have been huge! I showed her to my daughter, who is 17, and she loves her and she wasn't even born when Selena was out there kicking it!
I love how your enjoy this music. Thanks for you comments about this grater singer to us.
Not up with Beyoncé Selena is ahead of Beyoncé by a bunch 😂
Both Queens in their own right.
Beyoncé who? Lol. Selena is the real queen!!!!!!!
@@midnyteblues hold up why the comparisons? The music market is big enough for different female artist. I'm a blk woman I love Selena and the representation she brings to her heritage and people around the world. Everytime I come to the comments ppl trying to throw shade on our blk Queen beyonce. That's disgusting and a disgrace to her memory and what she stood for. You see she loved disco black artist.
@@nynurse29 First off, race has nothing to do with it. Second, I never have liked Beyonce. Sort of like the Kardashians and always being thrown in our face. Do I like a few lyrics in some of her songs, yes, but my taste in music is vast and hers is not a voice I can tolerate for more than one song. While others I can listen to all day such as Al Green and Annie Lennox.
No stunt
my wife went to that concert. she said it was so AMAZING...
It still saddens me that only weeks after this concert she was murdered. Her music and legacy will forever live on. I saw her twice and Laredo. Let me tell you, she was freaking amazing! Watching this is hard because then you remember she is no longer with us.
SELENA is SELENA! LEGENDARY
Oh I so love me some Selena. And some India. Girl you're so alive. It shows in your eyes, smile, and real reaction. Thank you. You make me smile, feel, and cry at times. Thank you. Oh and Gethsemane by Steve Balsamo will blow you away. Sending some love from Ohio.
Omg! The name is disco medley for a reason, she didn't start off with Spanish music. She was a Mexican American that adapted to her culture. She was all around in music, #rip
So talented. She had the pipes, amazing stage presence. It's so tragic that we lost her so young before seeing her achieve the super-stardom that she was destined for.
Selina was well known here in Mexico and she was an angel 👼 here on Earth way before she went to being an angel in heaven. She was so sweet , nice, humble, humanitarian with the ones in need, she was so loving and caring with people! She's a legend and she was only 24 years old.
Awww....thank you for reviewing Selena! I think she's a wonderful artist! ❤.
My beautiful Selena!!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Her voice was so sweet.
Omg she was an awesome performer I got to see perform years ago she was great. I'm so glad to say I was able to see her live.
I got to see SELENA when she first started off at a small concert of less than 50 people. SELENA's 👑 performance, funny attitude, beautiful soul & genuine interaction with her fans was AMAZING back then... she was the REAL DEAL! I can close my eyes listening to her song 'Como la Flor' & still hear her say at that concert, 'This one is dedicated to all you beautiful girls who've had their heart crushed...remember you are that delicate flor (flower) & i sing this especially for you.' She still gives me goosebumps & sends positive vibes my way everytime I listen to her music. WE all definitely LOVE & MISS The 👑 QUEEN SELENA 👑 To our most beautiful delicate flower ❤ RIP beautiful❤
ah homegirl. I love Selena. And I'm so happy you can appreciate her now. She was taken too soon for sure. I remember growing up and looking up to her. I love her so much.
Selena was an amazing singer, ut lets not forrget how much support she got from her very talented family.
I didn't know she made this song. I loved this song SELENA q 😁
The queen 👑❤️
She will always be the QUEEN
I was there. Love watching the reactions to this concert.
You were at the concert? You must be so old!!😂lol
@@RosarioGarcia-vu7ck I'm 37. Yes it was a long time ago but watching these reactions to her concert help keep the memory alive
@@srfx why laugh Rosario at age? You think 37 is old? Don't laugh too hard, you too are growing older every day. And one day you will be a little old lady.
What was your favorite memory about this night?
@@thecravehousereview it was 2 months before my 11th birthday. I was there with my mom and sisters. It was so loud! I remember my cheeks hurt from smiling and singing along. Dancing hand in hand with my sisters. (More like just jumping up and down because we didn't know how to dance yet). But I do remember people dancing in the aisles with whatever room they could find. I just know it is one of my happiest childhood memories
I saw Selena countless times in person performing and she was amazing and very friendly I talked to her and she was talking to me kidding around like we were close friends gone to soon rip Selena 😢
Selena quintanilla the QUEEN OF TEJANO LATIN AND MUSIC TO ME IN GENERAL. ALWAYS WILL BE 🦅🕵🏾♀️🌎🙏🏾💯 AS A Apache native american who was raised in texas, new mexico, and arizona. I had the honor of jamming at the Corona Club in Amarillo Tx with, at that time Los Dinos. She was awesome......in person, she was amazing.
Yes, I agree with most of the comments 👍 she would be one of the best stars in the industry ⚘
