Another great video Glenn and Liza i don't think i have laughed so much at a wood turning video now the wife wants me to make some 😂 take care guys. Ps we are still in Leicestershire 🍻
thank you so much for showing how to make these with the inserts. I see so many people making them with no insert. Flame and wood...definite fire hazard.
Looking for a way to turn a wooden bracelet but totally round! No flat sides at all. Open area in the middle to 2-1/2” diameter, bracelet wood 1/4” thick (ROUND). I tried with a bead, but couldn’t make it work. Do you have a video or any other ideas? Thanks, love your work! Lloyd York, Pennsylvania USA
Hi Lloyd, welcome to the channel. Glad you are enjoying the videos. I've not made any bracelets. If I can source an appropriate piece of dry wood to try and make one, I will. I only have a lot of wet wood. The only other way is if you try using a captive ring tool. That might work. Give it a go. Good luck. Let us know how you get on. Toodle pip for now. Glenn & Liza
@@glennteagleofukwoodcraftca5308 I was going to try this with a short piece of Ash Wood about 4” long and 3.5” round. Trying to go into it from the end like a bowl to clear the underside but if it shatters, it’s no telling what might be in its way…….like me? Also it’s too tight to the chuck on the left side to try to round underneath. I priced the ring tool $$$$$$$$! I’ll wait for your experienced video!!! Thanks, Lloyd
Hi Michael, welcome to the channel. Are you in the UK? We only ship within UK. Website address is www.ukwoodcraftandcarbidechisels.co.uk. You have a choice of the GT NO 1 Box Hollower which is on a 10mm Square bar or the GT No 2 Box Hollower which is on a 12mm Square bar.

@@MichaelSheridan-hd2pc Hi Michael, unfortunately we don't have any Parting Tools at the moment. If you can send me an email to glen.teagle@sky.com, when we have some made I can let you know. The 9mm is called the GT No 1 Box Hollower. This is on the 10mm square bar. The GT No 2 Box Hollower is on a 12mm Square bar,. You can order whichever one suits you through the website, as provided in the previous response. I would need to know what you intend on turning, size etc to know what chisel would be the best choice. I have used all the tools throughout our videos, so it is best for you to see them in action, to be able to decide what you think you would need.
You are one brave man 😅
Thank you Rusty. I sure am.
Great to hear your dogs playing. Yes the wood is a bit wet, it was out in the rain all winter.
Buster was annoying Jasmine. Tea light holder turned out nice though I thought. Will let it dry out a bit, then finish it off.
love your dogs, you have got the hands of a surgeon with the detail chisel,
Thank you Nigel.
Smashing Glenn going to give it a go cheers Ray
Yes Ray, give it a go. Let us know how you get on. Thank you so much for the Buy Me A Coffee too. Really appreciated. Happy turning.

Hi Peter and Lucy. Glad you enjoyed the video. It was fun making it. Give it a go and let us know how you get on. Take care you two.
Beautiful project Glenn. I'll need a ton more experience before I attempt this for sure but it's a goal.
Thank you Steve. It looks harder to turn than it is. Give it a go one day and let us know how you get on.
First time doing one of these but thanks to your video came out well loved it
Excellent. Send us a pic at glen.teagle@sky.com
They look great.
These look great I’ve been asked to make a couple but as eggcups in the centre so you can put the bread on the side
Nice one. Give it a go. Let us know how you get on.

@@lloydglazer2231 It may be a while. As I said, I will need to get an appropriate bit of wood. The Ash I have is like plaster when you cut it.
Another great video guys, will be having a crack at that one! What was the thickness of the blank please?
Thanks Dave. 40mm
👍Cheers!
@@davearnold9539 You're welcome
Great video!! One question. When you flipped it around to turn the bottom, were the check jaws inside or outside of the tea light cup?
Inside
