    it's the biggest jumpm over one generation we've seen in basically any car. Not only speed, but charging and efficiency. Yu can do your 1000km Roadtrip over an hour fast now and only with 1 toilet break, one coffee break and one lunch break.

      Most people will lease them so it's about monthly payments. Would it depreciate more than, say, a 7 series BMW? Probably not by as much as people think.

      Sad but true. The first year models are quite “accessible” now. Unfortunately people with plenty of cash still prefer ICE cars, which is understandable, the sensorial experience still matters, but it shortens our days on earth.

    80% just want a box on wheels, including me (mostly). That doesn't cost me an arm and a leg like the Citroen Ollie or the Merc W123. Where are these petrol diesel hybrid ev cars? Why not have a discussion with customers and manufacturers. LIVE. And yes, I know that what we buy is not always what we want. That is why we need the discussion.

    17 hours to charge at home! Wouldn’t work for me! I get home and then 10 hours later need to go out again. So more stops to charge are needed. I would have to charge at public fast chargers and pay high costs! Not even sure there are fast ones near my home. 🙄

    • @whatcar
      @whatcar  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      17 hours is from 0-100% remember. If you were doing 130 miles in a day, for example, you could leave the house with 80% and return with approx 20%.

      Well, I need 300+ range for a weekly drive as I work away and REFUSE point blank to charge away from home ( why would I when my solar gives me free elctrickery) so, 17 hours is an issue.

    • @cannavaras
      @cannavaras 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@helipeek2736 Your maths is not mathing,,,, Why would 17 hours 0-100 be an issue? My sons commute is 500 a week and he plugs in every night. The Audi has a 300+ range so why on earth would you need to plug in 17hours non stop at any point? You are falling for the terrible media desciption of time for charging. What on earth has charge times got to do when you compare a 24kw Fiat 500 and an Audi like this? What they should be saying is that it can charge up to 200 miles in 11 minutes away from home and 21 miles an hour when on home charge. Then people can easily work out if a car is suitable for them.
