Thank you, that's very kind. I honestly believe it's just practice, the more you write, the better you get a writing. It seems more obvious with a physical activity like instrument technique or running or throwing a ball etc, but I think it works the same way for creative processes too. It's the only thing I do with the guitar, I don't practice technique or learn songs anymore, I just write haha but it's by far my favourite thing to do \m/
@@jjrrecording I think I have to find a way around picking up the guitar and 'noodling'. Being disciplined and having the goal of actually writing riffs is something I'll have to work at.
@@farginicehole Yeah I'd say having that focus on getting something written is very helpful. That being said, for me, noodling is the best way to get the process started and ever since I started playing guitar, that's what I spent the majority of my time doing with it. I think it's just a case of developing the process to make it productive over time and with practice.
everytime I see that guitar I know what I'm going to hear is going to be very enjoyable
