Thanks very much, these pickups are just the stock Ibanez pickups that come as standard. For strings I usually use a set of 10-80 tuned a half step down from standard, so F Bb Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb, and sometimes drop the low string to Eb. Once in a while I'll tune down to Drop D as well but I find that tuning that low makes it hard to mix as it gets really muddy

Haha, thanks. I used Archetype Nolly for this, it was the 'Nolly's Murmur' preset with a lot of the low end removed from the first 3 bands of the multi band eq and I'm using the 'Down with the thickness' preset in GGD Cali Cabs. Almost all of the low end here is coming from the bass which is going through the 'afeared' preset in Parallax. The master chain makes quite a big difference too though. I have to point out though, that I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to mixing, it's all just tweaking presets by trial and error haha

Thank you, I think I used a set of NYXL 10-80 strings here, although I can't remember for certain, that's what I use most often on this guitar. It hasn't had any set up beyond what was done at the factory, all I've ever done is change the strings haha

@@EvilDragon666 Yeah I definitely found 80 to be too thin for D1, I think it's pretty much perfect for F though, which is what I play most of the time

I haven't ever had the chance to play one, I'd like to give one a try at some point though

Thanks very much, sure thing. I use a Scarlett 2i2 for input, into Logic. The tone here is Fortin Nameless(One tone panned hard left and hard right, another tone panned about 50% left and right) The bass is Shinzbass and the drums are a blend of GGD Metal with the snare and kick from Architects blended in, and a small amount of one of the snares from Modern and Massive, though I can't remember which one at the moment. Besides that, I have a subscription to Slate Digital that I use for all the processing plugins.
