Great sound quality, and I like how you didn't put the artist in a small corner of the screen like so many reactors do. Lara's expressive performances should be seen, as well as heard (and felt).
This song was written by Lucio Dalla, and made famous by the great Italian tenors Bocelli and Pavarotti. IMO this knocks the socks off their versions. Cheers!
I totally agree. They don't even come close. For instance, when she sings "Te voglio bene assai" you really feel like she means it. By the way, she knocks the socks off of their versions of Ave Maria as well. th-cam.com/video/3YWfThqkG3E/w-d-xo.html
Dramatica Lara... Choose your Language, it's always perfectly done, ending with standing ovation. In this so tragical 2022, her performance resonate even more ,in our heart
Thanks Tauri for your great reaction. I have followed Lara since the nineties. I have never stopped getting chills listening to her voice. Lara is beautiful inside and out. Thanks again for your emotional reaction.
Thank you so so much Tauri for reacting to Lara's version of Caruso! My heart warmed and opened up towards you, when you put Lara on the same level as Floor for living the emotions of a song, which imho is so true. These two really are the two best vocalists of our time. Once again I'd like to recommend "Requiem pour un fou" by Lara and Johnny Hallyday live at the Stade de France. She sings in a totally different style and yet gets you the feels. Thanks again, my love!
Lara Fabian - Parce que tu pars (Paris, 2001). This woman really really love to sing. She is into all the time. Real artist! Johnny et Lara Fabian - Requiem pour au fou (1998) (16 mi views on TH-cam). What a performance! She's something else!
Thanks Tauri, one of my favourite performances by one of my favourite singers, about the late, great opera singer Caruso. Great reaction as always. I'll echo some of the other subscribers and say lara and Johnny Halliday live duet of requiem pour un fou in Paris in 1998, when it was raining, is wonderfully emotional. Take care, from that old Brummie rocker.
Please forgive me but I can't handle the english language very well. However Caruso Is a a song of Lucio Dalla an italian artist. There is a story behind this Song. One day Lucio Dalla broke is boat in front of Gulf of Sorrento. He asked a friend for help and the friend was the owner of the hotel (Grand Hotel Excelsior Victoria) where Caruso (famous tenor of the past) died. The friend gave to Lucio the Caruso's room. At the same time chance willed that the bartender of the restaurant "La Scogliera" tale to Lucio Dalla that Caruso had fallen in love with an unrequited love for a young girl to which he gave singing lessons. Shortly after, Caruso died. In his room Lucio found the piano that belonged to Caruso and inspired by this story began to play a few notes. A little later the song was ready.
Tauri, you really should do reaction to a full on opera Olympian. May I suggest the amazing Renée Fleming and I could send you the link but one I would recommend is about a four minute performance of a very sad aria 2006 Nobel peace prize award ceremony. She is introduced by Sharon Stone. That performance there Renee is about 50 years old and of course of the style of a opera diva no microphone. Only a distant microphone for recording purposes.
We can notice why she is one of Dimash idols. She is an amazing singer like him. I'll love if you could react to both again. Missing your Dimash reacts
Lara, Dimesh and a brilliant soprano, ( sadly, I cannot recall her name,) sang together in Russia, (a song written by Igor), although I cannot remember the name of the piece of music, it was performed by a ice rink, whilst skaters performed. Sorry that's not much help.
I'd like to point out something about the difference between LARA FABIAN and her followers, like Dimash and Floor. On top of being the BEST singer of the three by a wide margin, she is the MOST artistic AND the most important thing of all. You can ACTUALLY understand the words because she SPEAKS the languages she sings. I understand the need to stick with your camp. But I mean... It's like the difference between an Olympic athlete with a gold medal and a National champ. BOTH very good. But only ONE is TRULY EXCEPTIONAL...
I listened after this beautiful rendition your reaction to Amira's version. Like you said, we are not here to compare singers. Lara's version sounds more poppy to me. I prefer Amira's one, this one is awesome too 😅 thank you for making this great reaction.
Hmmm 🤔, now that is an interesting view on this. My understanding always was that this song was written as a pop song and was meant for and originally sung by a male voice. That is why I think Amira's otherwise beautiful voice does not fit to this particular song. But each to his own, that's just my two cents. Btw. don't get me wrong, I do love Amira and her voice!
@@ChrisPage68 As I said, different people have different preferences and I am totally fine with it. I can agree on the development of her voice though 😉. @David Hooks Thanks for the details and yes I had the same impression of Pavarotti singing Caruso. He did not use his "normal" operatic voice but a different technique.
You guys can talk and talk, but I really love Amira's rendition way more. She has the power to make me cry every single time. I simply love this song more with an operatic soprano voice. Nessun Dorma is also written for a male voice but only Amira can make me cry with her most gorgeous voice to this song. Again I liked Lara's version too.
The bester female in world unreal great reaction
Lara is a treasure 😍
one of the best singers I've ever heard
Jonnhy et Lara Fabian - Requiem pour un fou (1998)

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEMALE SINGING VOICE I’VE EVER HEARD! 🎤 🎶👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💕

Simply unmatched.
I could listen to her all day long. So much passion, so much emotion, feeling.
On top of powerful & beautiful vocals? More proof that Italian is most beautiful language in which to sing! Damn!!
Dramatica Lara... Choose your Language, it's always perfectly done, ending with standing ovation. In this so tragical 2022, her performance resonate even more ,in our heart
im in tears...thank you lara is so amazing

Yes, best version to react with ! Love your reaction !
English subtitles help with understanding the Italian. But Lara is so emotive that she lives the words. Love her so much.❤
Just beautiful, thanks again tauri.
Csodálatos!!!!
Broken vow from the same concert is amazing too !
You should listen to it
Great reaction Tauri, in my opinion Lara is amazing, her voice is beautiful and with so much power and make you feel emotions deep inside 🔝🎤🎼

Grandissima Lara Fabian ma grandissimo Lucio Dalla per aver scritto e musicato questo CAPOLAVORO
You have reacted to two version, would love to see you also react to this version: Luciano Pavarotti - Caruso.
This one is with subtitles so you know what the song is about: th-cam.com/video/iDEdZfnULIg/w-d-xo.html
