I have an CBR250R as my first bike at an age of 36. Nice little motorbike, have enough speed and power to be fun to ride especially on smaller twisty roads. It is also quite capable of riding on the highway/motorway as it will do 130km/h under all conditions and a bit more if you lay flat down behind the windscreen... I have had mine for 3 months and have already logged 7000km!

The little cbr is a blast to ride, I've got several bikes and I tend to ride the smaller ones alot more. If my 1000rr wasnt so beautiful I'd sell it. They are all awesome for their individual reasons.

This old guy (75) found a red/silver CBR250 parked next to a shed and had not moved in 5 years. Bought it for $400. but could not get the title. A week later I found a red, white, and blue 2012 CBR in beautiful condition with a rod knock for $500. in Sanford Florida. 13 hours later I had the engine/trans from the red one into the red, white and blue one. I swaped some of the plastics around and made a red and white one with no blue... beautiful bike for $900.

don't get me wrong, i love the first gen cbr 250r but in my country it's more of a novelty bike than it is a daily bike because you have to import the spare part when you need to replace em and it cost hella expensive. if the maintenance cost is reasonable enough i would buy it without hesitation.

A fun little bike that'll get you there on 2 wheels & have a bit of fun doing it? It'll do the trick. I still have an older ninja 250 that easily gets to highway speeds. The 2nd cylinder makes going high speeds not so much a chore.

Awesome videos. The cbr250 is definitely a favorite of mine out of all the bikes I’ve owned ❤❤🎉😊

Here in the States March 2022 fuel is $5 a gallon, at 249lbs, I need at least 250cc to be safe yet still gets 65MPG. I had a Honda NX250 that achieved 85MPGs. Go Figure.

I have this bike in Chicago and get 70+mpg. I think the last tank I got was a little over 230 miles, on a 3-gallon fill-up from warning light. Granted, it's super flat here and I engine brake to nearly every stop. If you're looking to save money on gas this summer and still be able to ride the highways, the Vespa dealer here has 300cc scooters that apparently get better gas mileage than this bike- or so they say.

If you really want MPGs get a new GROM. It can get 155MPG and the mileage you are getting appears in the instrument cluster.

This is my first bike I am going to keep it forever more than enough power on local roads and just enough for very quick highway trips…I plan on getting a 636 as my next bike however

Good demo video of what the bike can do on the highway! On your throttle what is that triangle looking piece sticking up?
