    My favourite garnets are the Tsavorite and Rhodalite . I have loved them for 40 years . I first encountered the Tsavorites when I lived in Vancouver in the early eighties. I bought 4 loose stones and had them mounted in jewellry.

    I have a problem to spot the difference between czech garnet and czech red glass.

      Yes, it's always best to test - there are some great simulants!
