They also need to look at the ridiculous sticker prices on their products. There is no way any Stellantis vehicle is worth anywhere new $100,000 let alone over that number. These vehicles need to drop by nearly 50%. It is a good thing that Carlos Tavares has resigned. Now they need to find someone who knows how to run a company.
It is NOT just they did not innovate. Look at the modern EV sales. Early adopters are going back to ICE vechiles rather than buying another EV. The main issue is pricing. Even if they innovated the lineup, buying a vechile that starts in 50s and upto 130k. Sorry most people do not wanna pay that much for a car or truck. Make a vechile that is cost effective and people will buy it. They wont buy the top trim models that add another 10 to 15k to the base price. That is what the dealerships and manufacturers are doing. Only building and trying to sell the vechiles that have the best margins.
Ev sales in US are growing not slowing. In china (the biggest car market in the world) Evs and plugin hybrids is almos 60% of all new car sales, and they are selling more Evs than plugin hybrids.
Stellantis was "bolted together" from a bunch of car manufacturers with long term management and reliability issues. History shows that combining a bunch of sick companies creates a huge sick company and not a huge healthy company. The inventory issue with Chrysler is deja vu from their bankruptcy 40 years ago.

Not about to pay more for a car than I paid for my house. Don't want an EV either. Build me what I want to buy, not what they would like to sell.
Do not bail out auto makers without conditions. Conditions that encourage 90 percent made in USA parts and assembly in USA.
GREED, they jacked up prices like 60%, paid there shareholders and screwing there customers with some of the most poorly made vehicles ever.
Over paid CEO and junk cars.
try and selling just one jeep with nothing added on! and getting rid of all other jeeps! thats a start!
It shouldn’t be suprising when your brands sell only 1-2 models…

EVs were forced on auto makers, they knew it was a bad idea
Too many vehicles and too few buyers nean poor sales.
Greed will eat all our lunch there will be nothing left there is turning back

Two or three bad ones doesn't mean one good one, rather one big one three times worse.
