Hey bro I hope you’re better now. Sorry for your much beloved loss your grandad must’ve meant a lot to you I’m happy you were able to have that influential figure in your life
A Swedish stunt rider did some crazy riding on a Haybusa - it was black and he called himself Ghost Rider in honour of the man... You might be having facts I don't know - but I do like a good story - a good story doesn't have to be factual - being a story...
I think the $1 Demon crate thing was because of a legal loophole where they couldn't include certain parts of it as standard features. The price of the model took into account the assumption that everyone would want the crate, which by itself had something like $8000 worth of equipment, including a whole bunch of Snap-on tools.
Not to mention the new ecu. Which they cant install. They can open your hood and accidently trip and fall onto the connector and screws but they legally cant give you the race tuned ecu. Or at least in our case. Yet our demon 170 rolled off the trailer with mickeys and tune. Only blew it up once.
Just started the video and don't got much time to watch it (at lunch rn) but here's a fact: Henry Ford wanted to put his profits toward his company and give raises to his workers and make better cars, the dodge brothers sued him and won, the court ruled that profits are for shareholders. This is the reason why I hate dodge as a company. They make cool cars yes, but I don't like them as a company with their history.
That being said, Henry Ford by far a worse person with the way he treated people. The Dodge brothers died long before they could see how large the company would become.
#75, at 36:10, the C4 Corvette ZR1 predates the Dodge Red and Black Key for their performance models. The C4 corvette had a regular key, making their overhead cam v8 only make 220 hp, and the second performance key, making 445 hp.
What you're talking about is a valet key. It's not the same thing as the Hellcat keys. You still get loads of power with the black key, and more with the red. It's still 500HP and I would've consider 500HP a valet mode.
@@Paradise_Photography_offical Bugatti had a different method. They had the regular key, and then you needed the second key to activate top speed mode. So you actually needed two keys at the same time. If I remember correctly, the second key was inserted by the drive seat. Dodge didn't need both keys at the same time.
@@Sughcc My state has been using Explorers, unmarked Tahoes and Chargers. Now I'm see a bunch of Durango troopers. Every time I see any of the 4, I slow down. So many unmarked ones.

Another little fact: The Hornet (technically) goes against Dodge's tagline of "Domestic. Not Domesticated." The Hornet is a rebadged Fiat. However the Dart doesn't count since that tagline came out in 2016.
2:51 small correction, nascar banned the engine size for aero cars at just 305 cubic inches, which was much smaller than before. Running a larger engine was a lot faster than being more aerodynamic with how the rule was set up 38:13 the reason this argument is brought up is due to the jeep trackhawk, which has an awd setup with the hellcat powerplant. It has more room for the right equipment to run it of course
I don't remember much from the articles but there was one were the person who started the project to phase out the v8s was fired. Apparently he tried to design the cars behind euro regulations instead of US ones in order to receive a bonus for the huge reduction in emissions. Look it up, you'll find some info about it
Isn't really Dodge's fault more than it is Stellantis'. If Dodge were still allowed to be the badasses everyone saw them as, they would for sure do so in a heartbeat
Saying they lost their identity while they made the most 68-70s style charger they have made since then is wild, they didn’t lose their identity, they have to conform to laws and they have been paying massive fines for the v8s, plus they still make crate engines and still have gas vehicles even if they aren’t v8s. Plus the ev is still powerful and is pretty decent and it needs some tuning yes but it’s a viable muscle car
Oh man, what a rush! Wished you guys had more. Tell you what, I'm gonna watch this video over and over till your next video. Thanks, was worth the time.
What everyone says with Dodges and Rams being low quality and unreliable I refuse to believe, I have had a few Dodges and Rams and never had a problem with it, the worst was a coolant hose popping off, got fixed in an Oreilly parking lot
Thank you for crediting me for using the footage of my ‘81 “Mitsubishi” Challenger. I have to correct the record on that car - importantly, they are *rear wheel drive.* Also, to my knowledge they were not marketed as a “muscle car.” Yes, they used the Challenger name - which is widely regarded as a bad move. But it’s a surprisingly fun car.

Then I learned more about it during highschool and I kid you not my parents just by chance happened to buy a Magnum. I let them go through with the paperwork and when we got home I handed them basically my life savings which was what they had paid for the car. And told them to keep looking for a car because I was gonna take that one. I met my fiance in that car and she loved it too, for some reason ... The Magnum was only an SXT so I ended up selling it and I haven't rushed to getting one because we've both known we'll get one again at some point.
