Lego is honestly really starting to grate on me with the prices for Star Wars sets. Stickers all over the place. Poor quality miniature designs (ie. no duel molded arms for Ahsoka, no captain Enoch, the night Trooper not having enough damage, Ezra eyes). And then the fact that Disney is not making great content for the franchise making the sets already have to over come some issues. Then the fact Lego never gives us enough prequel sets but constantly gives us original trilogy sets and then Disney show sets. It’s just getting annoying for me
*lego doesn’t give us enough separatist sets Prequel wise we’re fine. They just avoid episode 2 like the plague. There’s hardly been any sequel sets since TROS came out which I find disappointing. Feels like they’ve been banking in Disney+ too much
Price, price, price. I love star wars lego but im not rich. I dont get lego for free and i work hard for my money. Gets tough now which sets are really worth getting.
The set itself looks really cool and great for display, but the price is horrible and I miss the duel sets when they cost around $20,This Night Trooper looks amazing and I hope he gets a battlepack

Yeah I’m kind of taken back by this. Same price as that hallway set but 2 less mini figures and and more boring set overall, I want the set for the minifigs but not for that price
Another overpriced set that doesn't even have the courtesy to give you printed tiles. What a joke. I'm concerned you were too lenient with it because you didn't actually spend the $55 dollars on it. Genuinely bewildered that you think it's an "awesome set" when it's just a grey base plate with a sticker sheet larger than the set itself. This might as well have been a CMF line.

another not so well known difference between modern Thrawn and old Thrawn is the badge. the old Thrawn had the wrong badge being admiral. it was supposed to be grand admiral luckily the new has the proper grand admiral badge.
He’s a Lego ambassador and he’s probably had the set for two weeks but Lego give their ambassadors embargo’s on what day they can review a set on social media
Grand Admiral Thrawn got his 3 yellow tiles and dual molded legs, but they removed 2 of his code cylinders... Grand Admiral Thrawn was SO CLOSE to being perfect here...
Lego is the absolute best of getting as close to perfect as possible but deliberating falling short for no apparent reason. They are the best I've ever seen at it..
My favorite little detail about the Stormtrooper is the fact that it's the same one that Ezra uses as a disguise at the end of the finale! I compared the locations of the red cloth to the one in the show out of curiosity and it's almost exact!
Hopefully from the Star Wars zombies knight troopers from the Ahsoka TV show we get a TVMA Star Wars zombie death troopers movie or a Disney+ exclusive TV show based on the Star Wars death troopers novel book
A fairly well executed set, I agree. However, one thing that you did miss was that Thrawn should have four code cylinders, two on each side, but has only been given one on each side. That is a downgrade from the old Thrawn figure. However, with the rank plaque actually being correct, and dual molded legs, the overall figure has been upgraded. We were so close to perfection, but lego just did not go that extra little bit to provide a perfect Thrawn figure... so close.
55$ with 10,000 stickers and still can’t give ahsoka dual moulded arms or her actual lightsaber hilts. Especially with one of her sabers getting destroyed and therefore won’t be in future sets, Lego could have given their most profitable theme something they deserve. Cheap company.
I don’t care what the price per piece ratio is, I just know that this is a small baseplate with a couple pillars and it costs $55. They could’ve at least had some stairs underneath with the room where they actually fight.
It’s definitely a cool set per se. But I also don’t like the only blue eyes which could have been easily fixed. But as cool as the minifigures are, this is not even close to be worth 55 bucks.
I will be buying the set when it's on sale. The current price is just too high but I love the ahsoka and thrawn minifigures. The set itself I'll probably just part out and use for mocs as I didn't enjoy the ahsoka show at all.
3:20 YOU forgot to mention something, Thrawns rank badge on his Rebels figure was wrong. It was an Admirals badge, the new figure got the correct rank badge
This set is going to cost me over a R1000.00 in South Africa just for over 300 pieces😐😐😐Like really LEGO this absolutely pathetic and seriously over priced????🤮🤮🤮 LEGO is constantly reducing the sizes of Star Wars sets and just focussing on minifigures😒😒😒 At the same time they are flooding the market with large number of new sets which is overloading and is making it really difficult to buy sets that the fans want 😑😑😑 At the moment I am just focusing on buying sets that I like and are retiring due to LEGO's stupid flooding strategy😣😣😣
As a casual fan I don’t think this is the best set ever but it’s also not the worst. It’s just average in my opinion. I’d give it a 7.5 / 10. Sure, the minifigures are a decent amount of the value of the set, but they aren’t everything. If you’re a fan of the show & want all these minifigures, I’d recommend getting it. If you only want 1 of the minifigures like Thrawn, Ahsoka, or the Night Trooper, I’d recommend waiting for a couple of weeks for them to pop up on BrickLink. As for the set itself, I’m fine with the pillars being stickers because they’re all different designs, at least the rectangular stickers on the ground should’ve been 1 print they could’ve included multiple times because it’s the same design. Overall, it’s not the best set ever, but it does have some redeeming qualities that make it better than the Obi Wan vs Darth Vader set & not the worst set ever. If you like the source material & can’t wait for a sale, I’d recommend just getting it. I’ve bought unjustifiably overpriced sets before just because I’m a fan of the source material.
I wish we got Enoch, would’ve made this set golden if we got Enoch plus a couple more night troopers, I also think it would help considering the price isn’t the best for what the set is. I hope we get more of each in the future
Minifigures aren’t worth as much as collectors believe, millions of kids have sets, there are millions of these sets made. There is no rarity to these things other than a false perspective of new outfits or printing changes.
Honestly, picked this one up PURELY for the minifigs, and no regrets. Overpriced? Sure, but Thrawn is my favorite SW character of ALL TIME (ever since reading the OG Thrawn trilogy, if you haven't read it yet, please do) and the Ahsoka completed my collection of all Ashokas released so far (and put Ezra on a display stand and gave him to my grandma, telling her he's from Star Wars, but she could display him as a LEGO Jesus minifigure, and she thought it was the best and cutest thing ever), so this one spread some joy all around imo 😂
its basically an improved version of the Obi-wan set, which was also $55-ish, and got discounted to $35. It IS better, but with 5 figures that makes it a $30 build, which I would say is closer to a $20 build.
I really appreciate this review as I was very on the fence about it. After realizing I paid full price for obi-wan vs darth vader it kinda feels like a no brainer

@@Half_Produceddefinitely getting it on sale. Hopefully it drops down to 40% or 50% off because I do like the sarlacc pit build and the nien nunb figure
You will regret that when it retires.
It’s just getting annoying for me
*lego doesn’t give us enough separatist sets
Prequel wise we’re fine. They just avoid episode 2 like the plague. There’s hardly been any sequel sets since TROS came out which I find disappointing. Feels like they’ve been banking in Disney+ too much
$55 for five rectangles naw bro
Price, price, price. I love star wars lego but im not rich. I dont get lego for free and i work hard for my money. Gets tough now which sets are really worth getting.
BEING A LEGO STAR WARS COLLECTOR IS SO HARD WHY IS IT $55!! WHYYY
The set itself looks really cool and great for display, but the price is horrible and I miss the duel sets when they cost around $20,This Night Trooper looks amazing and I hope he gets a battlepack
it literally never matters what the set is, when you react that passionately it brings me joy as well. You're a luminous being.
Wasn’t this set rumored to be $40-$45? $55 seems crazy considering it seems on par with the $40 Mandalorian set and less than the $55 hallway scene set
All LAN members are nothing but shills for Lego, just like this…
He got be paid to talk about this shit set because it’s not possible from him to say that this is good
Is was so confused when I heard him talking so good about this
I've stopped buying lego star wars sets with ridiculous prices, no matter how much I want them I just can't justify the insane prices some of these go for nowadays
people's champ actually pressuring Lego to change, thank you.
Me waiting for geonosis finale 💀
another not so well known difference between modern Thrawn and old Thrawn is the badge. the old Thrawn had the wrong badge being admiral. it was supposed to be grand admiral luckily the new has the proper grand admiral badge.
Even less known fact is that a grand admiral is supposed to have 4 code cylinders as a part of his uniform and the current version doesn't have that
@@sztefn good eye.
Wow, this build is really boring! A perfect representation of the show!
Real
A perfect representation of lego star wars as a whole recently
Sheesh, the Ambassador Network really makes you drool even over the worst crap
Jesus this guy is fast because the fact the video came out today means he had this set like a week ago ? 😮
It was only announced a few days ago but probably not a week.
he has inside ties with lego and they send it to him early
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 Oh ya the lego something something my bad
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 It definitely explains his stance on this set
He’s a Lego ambassador and he’s probably had the set for two weeks but Lego give their ambassadors embargo’s on what day they can review a set on social media
55 for basically minifigures? Naa we've been screwed here
This set makes the tantive hallway look like the best thing we have ever had. Lol
I dont like this set much but i really like night troopers and hope we get a battle pack of them
I was thinking I didn’t like the storm trooper until I saw the head. Now I kinda like it
The night trooper needed arm printing
Bro is defending an overpriced set so he can continue to be an ambassador for lego
Fax tho
@@TannerRichards-wt9ge bro you commented fax tho on your own comment why?
So my comment would not be at the end. Instead by commenting it pushes it to the front so it can be better seen
@@TannerRichards-wt9ge That is certainly a tactic
Is this video a parody?
that zombie head is awesome
I just bought a cobi world war II tank (Tiger 1) for 50$ and it's awesome!
And this guy is "impressed" by a baseplate with stickers for 55$....
I’d pay 30 maybe 35 but 55, just wow
I may be the only one but I LOVE the night trooper head. Definitely going to be useful for general MOC making. A nice detail for sure.
You can put Storm's cape from the CMF on Ahsoka, to make her more accurate!
Why didn't lego do that... it costs 55 bloody dolllars!
I honestly am not that upset about the regular stormtrooper eyes.
As a huge ahsoka fan, I cannot wait for this set
same. Even though i hate the Ahsoka series and how short Ahsoka'a lekku is - im definitely getting Ahsoka the white, Ezra, and Thrawn.
Nice set, horrendous price. Minifigs don’t justify the cost.
We were so close to perfection, but lego just did not go that extra little bit to provide a perfect Thrawn figure... so close.
“Ashoka the White, Ashoka the fool!”
Evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have invented or made.
55$ with 10,000 stickers and still can’t give ahsoka dual moulded arms or her actual lightsaber hilts. Especially with one of her sabers getting destroyed and therefore won’t be in future sets, Lego could have given their most profitable theme something they deserve. Cheap company.
I’m probably going to replace the head for the Zombie Night Trooper to make just a regular Night Trooper
I don’t care what the price per piece ratio is, I just know that this is a small baseplate with a couple pillars and it costs $55. They could’ve at least had some stairs underneath with the room where they actually fight.
First day pick up for sure!
The circle plates make a hidden Mickey lol
Is anyone else going to recreate thrawns escape with the new star destroyer and this set I’m so pumped to try and recreate it 🤩🤩🤩
As a casual fan I don’t think this is the best set ever but it’s also not the worst.
7,5 is not average. That would be 5/10. Why everybody has problems to understand how a 1-10 rating works...
I don't understand how people can still be interested in SW after what Disney did to it.
Cool set, weird you didn't mention de absence of Enoch though.
I wish we got Enoch, would’ve made this set golden if we got Enoch plus a couple more night troopers, I also think it would help considering the price isn’t the best for what the set is. I hope we get more of each in the future
I am SOOOOOOO excited for the Dar Falcon review
Minifigures aren’t worth as much as collectors believe, millions of kids have sets, there are millions of these sets made. There is no rarity to these things other than a false perspective of new outfits or printing changes.
This is one of the reviews of all time.
We need a night trooper battle pack ASAP and hopefully lego realized that fans want one and will release one in the 2025 January wave
28 dollar battle packs incoming
The first I have heard about this new Lego Star Wars set. I wish Lego sets weren't so goddamn expensive. The set looks amazing.
Im so annoyed we didnt get captain enoch cuz we have the same name and hes also a great character anyways
I fucking love this set, it's perfect obv a bad value but its amazing in terms of the build
its basically an improved version of the Obi-wan set, which was also $55-ish, and got discounted to $35. It IS better, but with 5 figures that makes it a $30 build, which I would say is closer to a $20 build.
Is the jedi bob starfighter in the back of the instructions?
It is not.
@@SolidBrixStudiosdang
Can't wait to pick up this set! The minifigures look amazing! 🎉
Can you please review the new UCS Milano for Marvel? I think the set is outstanding
That stormtrooper's face shocked
I really appreciate this review as I was very on the fence about it. After realizing I paid full price for obi-wan vs darth vader it kinda feels like a no brainer
yeah… the prices are crazy especially the escape of the sarlacc pit
People really be out here hating on this guy cuz he's passionate about something he likes and wants to share that passion. Seems like nowadays you're not allowed to find a positive outlook on anything and if you try to you're labeled as an out of touch shill. Crazy
"One of the best lego sets of 2024"? "Minifigures alone is worthy of that price"? Man our expectations for Lego have surely gone down a lot, or you're bootlicking just to be part of LAN.
I did not expect a zombie head for the trooper. They shoud make a battle pack whit those.
Since you are sponsored, do you ever discuss with LEGO about their pricing?
The video: 😁
The length:💀
Super stoked to get the s one and agree completely on it being top 3
