Love how IG-88's canon story is essentially identical to his original "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" story. An assassin droid killing its creators, starting a droid revolution, and eventually taking over the god damn Death Star was just too cool to not incorporate into Disney canon I guess, lol.
All the clone troopers are technically mandalorian if we go by this metric. He shares a lot with the mandalorians but I dont think he is actually a mandalorian
@@aarons2148 I immediately went out and got a full body Mandalorian armor tattoo, for some reason the tattoo artist didn't care i was 12 years old. Unfortunately now it looks like a Mandalorian crop top and hot pants 🤷🏻♂️

Bossk's ship was Hound's Tooth. I always thought they were ill fitting bandages around Dengar's head, not a turban. No mention of him being injured badly by Han Solo and that he was an Impirial agent, hence the Imperial armour. Boba Fett was THE most feard bounty hunter ever... until Disney got their hands on him.
Who didn’t think Bossk was the coolest in ESB, when he showed that he didn’t take any lip from anyone, including an imperial officer. Just way too cool and I only wish there was a bounty hunter series that showcased these original BHs in live action (separate from the Mandalorian).
Bossk's main ship isn't a Z-95 Headhunter. He has his own personal starship, the _Hound's Tooth,_ a modified Corellian YV-666 light freighter. It is armed with 1x Quad-Laser Turret, 1x Ion Cannon, and 1x Concussion Missile Launcher. The _Nashtah Pup_ was a secondary scout ship that he carried aboard the _Hound's Tooth._

Can I just say what a great job you’re doing. Your videos are so informative and we appreciate it. Do you think maybe you could do a video explaining the Guard variants (as in Senate Guard, Imperial Royal Guard, Praetorian Guard, Sovereign Protectors, etc)?
As a kid I was fascinated by the Bounty Hunters and had all the figures. When the expanded stories started to get published when I was much older it was fascinating to find out about their back stories.

Such nostalgia for Zuckuss. Had all the Kenner figures back in the 80s, and I remember having to send away for Zuckuss specifically (here in Australia).
Great video. I know they are referred to as the original 6 but I have always considered 2 more to be included. Greedo is the first bounty hunter we ever see, and Bousch. He had to be well known by the rest of them to get that close to Jabba and had to be respected enough to not be questioned about how he caught Chewy so i have always included him in with the original bounty hunters.
In the 90s we played the SW RPG and several times encountered IG88. Think this was mostly before the book about the A, B, C and D versions. In any case, the memories stick so it’s still the coolest of that group..
4-LOM : "Lawm"? I've always heard it and pronounced it as 4-"El-Oh-Em". At least the confusion of the names between him and Zuckuss has finally been straightened out. Leave it to Kenner to get the names mixed up and confuse kids for years. Though might argue it should be logical that a name like "4-LOM" would belong to a droid.
Zuckuss and 4 Lom used to be different. As in they swapped the names in the 1990s power of the force action figure series. The names were never accidentally mixed up
I had the Bossk action figure as my 4 year old mind immediately took a liking to this intimidating looking character that walked around barefoot with claws. Wish I still had that figure along with broken 3PO in carry bag, the medical droid, Darth Vader, Han Solo, R2D2, Snow Speeder, and IG88.
Bossk also had his main ship, a heavily modified YV-666 freighter called "The Hound's Tooth", of which "Nashtah Pup" was a scout ship it could detach from. Surprised you missed that detail.
As a young fella I had all these guys figures except for Zuckus. I mean Zuckus too and not 4-Lom. Also Disney should be making a show (that's good/that's a key part) about these charming fellas.
When I first saw Empire strikes back I was fascinated with these guys. The one that held my attention most was I G 88. I wonder what Bo was saying to that imperial officer while Darth Vader was interviewing them.
I thought Bossk's ship was something called a "Houndstooth"? Or is that "pre-Disney" canon, ergo no longer considered canon, hence "de-canonized"? Or am I confusing it with another bounty hunter entirely? At any rate, that is a hell of a cool name for a bounty hunter's ship...
It was the Hound's Tooth. Almost all Bounty Hunters had modified cargo ships as to be better equipped to bring in bounties. A Z95 Headhunter would be extremely difficult to bring in any bounties, alive or dead.
Standard answer I know, but Boba Fett is the coolest bounty hunter in Star Wars. Aurra Sing, Jodo Kast and Kenix Kil would make nice topics for a future video if you haven't covered them already 👍🏿
That wasn't the Jango Fett armor, as Mandalorians had to get their own armor in what is known as "Trials". You saw a example of it in "Mandalorian". Boba Fett received his armor from his own trials, which lead to his famous markings and color scheme.
I was disappointed as hell when Kenner only made Boba Fett & IG-88 for the 12" line. I had them all & couldn't wait to get the rest of the Bounty Hunters. I loved the large figures more than the 3" versions.
Vader did not put so much as trust in them, just s contract to try and expedite matters. He threw out a net made of bounty hunters that he knew would lead to something. Vader/Anakin knew how they worked.
Bossk also owned the "Hounds Tooth" A ship that is more familiar with him than the Z95 Headhunter
Yeah, I don't recall any SWCCG card called Bossk in Z-95. Ha!
Yeah. Hard to transport a bounty in a z95
And this is the first one. What is he going to get wrong next?
for a SW focused youtubers that's egregious.

Dengar has burns from a speeder bike racing accident which is why he wears the turban
and if I recall correctly, that racing accident was against Han Solo.

Dengar taught us to wait until the mark takes a dump before you apprehend them.
