RSC 2 is legit af. I got the pro kit and no regrets whatsoever. First shoot I did for a wedding, first gimbal I ever owned or shot on, and turned out phenomenal.
I bought the ronin sc from bestbuy when the rsc2 was released. I don't feel bad. It's my first gimbal. Maybe another month I'll feel bad. Hahaa. Love the gear reviews as always. No fake personalities, down to business, get to the point videos. Love it. Thank you!
thanks again for adding me to your mailing list, i enjoy watching fellow creatives savor every aspect of videography including the exciting unboxing segments.
That LCD screen on RSC2 looks like the one from a mobile phone in early 2000s. I can't believe they still produce such primitive displays in 2020, when the technology is light years ahead!😕 Awesome review! 👍
@@96FilmStudios but you're not really a budget filmmaker if you have a BMPCC4K. Im currently saving for a Canon Sl3/250D as my first camera and the RSC2 would be great.
@@96FilmStudios sorry for the mix up. I meant that if you own a BMPCC4K you are more likely to have adequate accessories... Like a gimbal that gives you full potential with your camera. Being a budget filmmaker is more about making films with limited to no budget at all.
ive seen a video where you can balance the 1dx.. hmm strange. ive also seen a a7siii and a 70-200 sony 2.8 on the rsc2. Mine should be in soon. Excited to test it
Not detachable/interchangeable battery is a key features for me. What a silly choice from DJI. Honestly the S2 offers a way better performance/portability trade off, but it's way too expensive. For my point of view, DJI had wasted the best opportunity to take the compact gimbal market share with a dumb choice.
make a comparison between the Crane 2 vs SC2. I've seen a lot of my frnds selling their Crane 2 for the SC2. Can you show us the pros & cons of switching to SC2 ?
Late reply, but hopefully you already got the answer. If not, then I'll list it here. The RSC2 with the pro combo offers you... 1. a metal tripod (on the standard kit, it's a plastic) 2. A focus motor for manually and a smoother focus 3. A wireless image transmitter (The Raven eye? I think that's the name I'm not sure.) And a bag for carrying the gimbal. The rest are the same as the standard kit.
i use this with my bmpcc4k and sigma 30mm f1.4.....using a counter weight ive had no problems....also in 360 mode if you tap right or left twice on the joystick itll roll auto until you tap twice again. hope this helps somebody cheers
In the opening of the video it shows the gimbal working while cracked open how can that be I thought the two metal pins have to make contact with the handle to work?
Hey! Nice review by the way, but I just keep noticing your camera just focusing on your background. I guess the background light gets the focusing, maybe you can just turn focus mode to manual next time. =)
Thank you for this info. There is in a cable to control iso and other it is coming with basic set ?? Or it is coming only in Combo set ... (use Sony and Canon cam) regards,
Hope you guys can do some in depth review regarding how’s the stabilization of SuperSmooth and difference in normal mode. And also compare it with the Ronin S
Don't get me wrong, I like the other guys but this channel is no longer from Parker and that's the reason I'm sub. to watch him do reviews and filmmaking stuff
Hi!! My rsc 2 reverses often - the camera gets upside down and then very difficult to bring it back - apart from briefcase mode but otherwise when it’s even brought to its home position the camera is still upside down. Is this common? How to correct this.
Hello. Thanks for your videos. I have learned a lot with them and I am a number one fan. I have a question to see if you can help me. I have bought a Ronin RSC2 gimbal and I have a Canon EOS R5 camera. The camera connects well to the gimbal and together they perform the functions that the application brings. The problem is when I connect the Raveneye. When I plug in the Raveneye and do ActiveTrack, the camera not only doesn't track the subject, it either pans to the side or just goes crazy. Do you know if there is any formula or specific configuration of the camera so that it can work correctly with the Raveneye? I usually use the camera with the RF85mm F2 Macro IS STM lens. Thanks in advance and I repeat, thanks for your videos.
Trying to get my Rsc2 balanced with the Sony 50mm 1.8 ($300) lens and my footage is terrible. I have balanced it properly, did the balance test (excellents on all three axis) and have run the auto tune. Do I need to go into the motors and adjust the stiffness of each motor? Read somewhere that the auto tune is not applying enough stiffness. Does this sound right???? I thought that's what the auto tune was suppose to set for me. Most videos on TH-cam just show people balancing and auto tune and that's it. Any input would be amazing.
I have the Ronin S and have similar problems. You have to adjust the stiffness values manually because autotune is not giving the best results. You have to adjust, try it, adjust, try it until you find the best settings for your setup. Unfortunately, the best results for one lens may not be so good for another, for example, a heavier lens. It's sad that I haven't found any review that would explain how to adjust stiffness value for the best results, depending on how heavy is your setup. No one is talking about it like it was some mystery, that only the chosen ones know... However, I always set the higher stiffness I can (max value before the motors start shaking), especially for the roll axis, and the results are ok. Try it. Let me know if that did any better. If that not help, I would consider returning it on the complaint. I did that with my Ronin S, and they replaced the motors with the new ones. It helped.
got the RSC with a Tokina 11-20 heavy len . . . footgates looks terrible . . . . all videos on youtube are soooo smooth that anyone will end buying this. I have been playing around with setup no luck . . . it get little better doing a firmware rollback . . . if u fix the issue please let me know! :P I think im going to return . . . .

You can't say stuff like this without providing a link to the video ;) If it's public, that is.
I swear you guys have perfected the slow, real-time gimbal operation. So damn smooth!
The screw on tripod/grib you can move to that 1/4inch threat when in under slung mode and makes it much more comfortable
If you reading this, have a good day and be safe. God bless you 🙏🏻❤️
Just signed up for Fulltime film maker lifetime school excited and looking forward to applying it in the future !

great review! all the info without filler. well done.
That’s crazy stable.
Even on my 65” tv I really need to look at the corners to see very slight shake.
Looks not to bad! This 360 Roll looks interesting 📽
Thank you for finally doing a review with footage from the RSC2!! 🙌🙌
This channel is the best
The doubt is should I go for the Standard kit or Pro combo? In a doubtful situation!
Best in the world for, world of cameras and shooting

Parker probably would say to any gimbals that arent half big as his arm, would feels like a toy..
Awesome review as always bro! no brainer for Sony a7iii
Bought it and love it!
From punjab ,India ...loved it
the cheap model has a carrying case?
No
Nope
It's quite obvious, no...
Dji didn't claim that you can hold Canon 1Dx on RSC2 man, please look into Camera & Lens Compatibility, stop Misleading people
ronin s or rsc 2? what do you think? what do you prefer?. recently i consider to buy one of them, ronin s second-hand or new rsc 2.

Does that church for real have a 2-level parking garage!! Must be Utah County Stake Center... Haha. Rad!
Mine didn’t come with the bag, I guess DJI sent the bags for promotion purpose only or they might be selling the combo version with the bag.

Unboxing and reviewing black equipment on dark background...
is that kinda sticker on the canon? the top is green! great video and thx for the info

Hey man, I'm planning to get the rsc2 for the bmpcc4k too...is it still smooth(micro jitter?), and is underslung mode possible with the counterweight?
just copped
can we use the force mobile and active track feature without the raven eye transmitter?

Is this gimbal still good in 2023?
In low price which is best Gimbal plz suggest

Wich camera do you recommend me as a beginner videos making and Foto pro with a good price and equipment?

Thanks for the review …does the rsc2 have active track like the rsc ?
Can you manually focus the lens while it is on gimbal or it would introduce shake ?
Underslung never works right for me with the RS. When turning the camera just shakes. Even after adjusting many times. is the smaller RS better?
Can RSC2 carry red ranger please say the answer please

Would you buy a warranty with that or would you go without it?
