    This is how to NOT install a distributor. You edited tf out of this video and you know it. If someone follows your instructions they'll have a vehicle stuck on their driveway not running! You were almost 180⁰ off on your distributor. You must mark the distributor to the block AND mark the rotor tip in relation to the distributor so that way your timing is as close to where you removed it as possible, then set with a timing light per manufacturers specs. Please don't follow this guy's instructions!

    If someone pushes down on the distributor while you bump the key it will align itself and fall into place also.

    There's no way you got that in correct timing on the 40/62 if you skip 1 tooth your fucked and you put the firing from 1 to 3

    What is a code p0320

    • @michaelethangross3395
      @michaelethangross3395 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Engine speed sensor - these engines use the distributor pickup signal to sense engine rotation and cylinder 1 identification - one of the teeth on the shutter wheel is narrower that's how it knows. The P0320 usually stores in the freeze frame data so you can see what else was happening when the signal interrupted. Also, if the check engine light comes on in the run position but doesn't shut off during cranking and the engine will not start, this means the ECU is not receiving a profile ignition pickup signal (PIP) during cranking. Usually the distributor pickup is bad, but it could be the ignition control module or the ECU, or a power or ground issue. You could send a ground signal to see if the ICM/ECM reacts as it would the PIP to further troubleshoot.
