Thank you for the question on this. It is definitely possible to make the case perfectly flush with the wallet, leaving no gaps anywhere around it. However, I actually tested this, a LOT, with different sized openings before settling on the current size of the OpenCase opening. Basically, I hit a certain point where the ease of getting accessories in and out of the opening of OpenCase suddenly started to become a hassle and a bit too finicky. Thus, the final size that worked the best for the opening is right at the breaking point between ease of use, with a gap that is as minimal as possible to make accessories as secure as possible. The opening is also designed to not only work with all our other accessories, but to be as open as possible to work with many 3rd party accessories as well. I hope that helps.
Thank you. I'm guessing that, hopefully soon, MagSafe/Qi2 will be coming to Android phones as well. Once that happens we hope to make cases for those phones as well. And, the best part is that all the accessories that already exist will work for them also!
It takes a lot to not only create a product, but also to try to start a company. In the case of the OpenCase™ iPhone case adding the opening in the case takes a LOT more work, planning, and testing to get it just right. It's not just less material, it's also a LOT more work. I hope that sheds a little light onto how hard all this is.
Wishing you luck with this genius product!!
Very much appreciated. Sometimes it's a simple solution that does the trick.
is it possible to make the wallet flush with the case? As in there being no gap above or below the wallet which shows the phone?

Cool concept! I'm an android user myself but wishing you luck and success.

Less material and higher price tag I'll pass
