A Range Rover with a Khan kit, I think the kit devalues it, the owner got a better deal in my opinion.
In ur opinion. Someone will pay more for it especially with the upgraded interior which happened as he sold it for 15k
@@sammybashier1232 he may have sold it for 15k yeh, but he usually spends about 3-4k fixing them at VRS or this other place first, so id imagine he probably broke even or made very little return on it, guess we need to know the bill for the repair but imagine with it being a land rover and air bag issue, not cheap!!!!
@@MarcBirkswell these are old enough now where if you take to a specialist the airbags aren’t that much his bill is probably close to £1000 as it definitely isn’t something crazy serious £3500 profit within a few days is not good?

Worked in a body shop in West Yorkshire about 12yrs bk and used to fit the Khan kits to the rangeys for them, worst quality kits you’ve ever seen! Fit like crap every time. Absolutely bodge job from start to finish! Wouldn’t have one given…. The guy you bought it from must be pissing him sen!

Been looking at the C63’s , lot of performance for the money and a dateless design and as you that sound is fantastic.
Cheap to buy but not cheap to run. Over £100 to fill up which will give you 200 miles if you’re lucky. £600 odd to tax and then there’s insurance and maintenance as well as known problem which will need remedying if not already done. If you’ve got deep pockets it’s a great car.

@@S666GRJhey mate u ok. A few people have said that. I need to address the loss of power when accelerating hard. Just cuts and have to restart the engin. Not sure if it's the egr valve as the last owner was an old boy from new who never went over 2k rpm 🤔
@@chriscringle9263great cars the mk4 Golf with the PD engine. The loss off power is possibly your turbo vanes coked up. If it is they just need a clean. The loss of power is the turbo overboosting and the car going in to limp mode. Not a big issue if just pootle around without giving more than half throttle. Probably caused by not being driven hard every now and again.

Today I drove mine overland, went to river, passed highway, made bunch of field overrun and all that without calibration and error "suspention fault" warning .. drives perfectly. (20min ECU coding requered)

The roads ,the views and the coastline also the road surface is normally alot better in some parts of Wales compared to England, great video Calvin 👌👍

issue 1 : buying a land rover product FULL STOP!!!
Can understand from business point view. The range rover appeals to many many middle class familys who know nothing about cars other than what they see as good all rounder.
The c63 on the other hand is petrol guzzling v8 and being the naturally aspirated perhaps doesn't appeal to as many go fast youngsters as it once did. M140. Golf r ect have taken there mark.
Both nice cars respectively good luck to range rover new owner. Calvin i hope you supplied them with spare compressors, air bags and bags and bags of sensors 😂 and as for merc owner take a mortgage out for fuel card
