Thanks for the video Zee! Really interesting that in witches brew you had to be brave if you were the start player...makes taking a brave action during a round a little more risky. I've only played broom service once but I really enjoyed it, think I might need to buy it hahaa.
Witches Brew is so much better. Those games have nothing in common except the card mechanism. You could enjoy both and have both in your collection. For me, I dont like delivery games like Broom Service. Yes, Witches Brew is meaner, but its a short game and fun and easy to play. I really hate that in Broom Service you can say Weak as the startplayer. Makes the whole mechanism obsolete.
Could you do a house rule for witches brew that you can be weak as the first player?

Great comparison. I would add that personally I love that Witch's Brew forces you to lead with the strong action. It makes controlling the lead and timing of your cards that much more important. I enjoyed Broom Service, but I prefer Witch's Brew, in my opinion it's a more elegant game. Nasty, yes, but that's what's great about it.
Just a personal opinion though - some people prefer the cutthroat nature of WB (myself included), and some people prefer the less stressful nature of BS.
Broom Service == Kiki's Delivery Service the game? Looks like they might enjoy getting that IP to put over the game I would buy it in a second I like how that anime looks. The game sounds kinda fun so prob will still pick it up. Thanks for video.
+Michael Smith Maybe like i said i think i'm gonna pick that one up anyway but why pick up an IP ever? To me cause I like the IP. I am sure there are enough Miyazaki/Ghibli fans out there that would enjoy it as well the game mechanics look rather fun and fit kinda nice (to me). I hear you though IPs I guess are not free and all.
