I got it on PC, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it reliving the 19-year old me when I played it back in the day! I owned the Limited Edition of the Original. Main reason I got it was for the DLCs, as the PC version on the original never got them.
Both. They compliment each other well and make up for what each game lacks. Burnout Paradise brings open world racing and the ability to do stunts. Need For Speed Hot Pursuit brings a linear racing experience but you get to play as both a racer that avoids the cops or a cop that takes other racers down. I own both of these games on the Switch and they run really well. Definitely worth it if you like good arcade racing games.
I wish they would port the Wii U version of Most Wanted. I loved that game.
The spike strips didn't follow you at all! They always follow the momentum the car that released it! It's strategic

How do you turn off instant replay in need for speed hot pursuit remastered on the switch? It get's in the way.

The game doesn't look great in handheld mode folks. A lot of jagged and flickery lines....what a bummer
