I got it on PC last week, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it reliving the 19-year old me when I played it back in the day! I owned the Limited Edition of the Original. Main reason I got it was for the DLCs, as the PC version on the original never got them.
They should remastered every need for speed on the switch then continue the underground franchise starting from the switch with an underground 3 release
Hey mate great video as always but one thing to mention is that if you want analogue throttle and brake then you can map the right analogue stick to use. I have also used the Hori delux wheel and the trottle and brake work perfectly by mapping them to right analogue stick after changing the bindings in the game menu to right analogue throttle/brake. 👍
I've only ever played Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on an ipod touch back in the day. So when I heard the remaster was coming to Switch I was happy because I bought Burnout Paradise Remastered on Switch and it was just as fun as when I played it on PS3. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered feels like it fills in the gaps that were missing from Burnout Paradise Remastered as far as offline police chases go which is why I love it so much. It's extremely fun and it looks great. Contrary to what people have been led to expect and believe, not every racing game has to be 60 FPS to feel fast or fast paced and this game proves it. It's definitely worth the $40. 👽👍
It looks really nice on the switch, a clean port, I prefer my racing games on my ps4 though, and I feel the NFS series starts to be a little bit outdated nowadays, maybe because I play it since the first opus, I don’t know... I’ll pass on this one. Great video as always ✌️
While it's nice to have a Need For Speed game on Switch I wish they would've remastered 1 of their older titles instead (Underground, Most Wanted 2005, Carbon) despite Hot Pursuit being 10 years old it more than held up well enough where a remaster wasn't really necessary.
It looks cool, still Im missing the cockpit view, you know this kind of view gives extra realism to a game and feels a lot more inmersive, will think to get this
Ill probably pick it up next week when i get paid. Hopefully if they make a pro Switch or something they'll have analog controls so you can play racing games and shooters with precision.

Looks great but if this is open world, I have to be hesitant. Remembering the old classics, I bought a new need for speed game on Xbox not long ago and I was disappointed to see that it was filled with cut scenes, and an open world which meant unnecessary driving around and dialogue. Pretty annoying for a racing game.
@Sports GamingTV Do you know if we can access the game without doing the update? This is all we want to know. Some people are collectors who want their games to work without the need of a download. Some have poor internet and just want games to come fully on physical media. If the game requires a download to access the offline play, that's going to turn off a lot of people from getting the physical copy. And unfortunately, companies haven't been labeling their box art store advertisement the way they used to and journalists and youtubers don't have physical copies to let the public know bout this. So the question remains, if we buy a physical copy can we play the game fully offline without having to do an update or is an update required to access to the game?

Got this today and this is the first time of getting to play this game and I can say I'm really enjoying it.

I haven't played a NFS game since Hot Pursuit on the original PS1. I remember having fun with that game.
GRID has been on my wish list since it released. It seriously needs a deep sale at this point.
Looks like a super solid port. That pleases me greatly. I love arcade racers so I am going to buy this at some point.

Yea because licencing be a pain to get for the old games plus the original source code might be lost too.
The vita nfs is still the superior racing game to this.

Does it need constant internet connection? I use the Switch mostly on the go. Kinda stupid to require internet for Switch games.

The" Need for Speed " franchise has always been great.
Nintendo switch is such a dogshit platform the only AAA titles it gets are games from the ps3/360 era, and it runs those titles at 360/ps3 frame rates
