JUST A TIP! When you replace the earpiece connector make sure not to just pull on it because there is this very delicate sticker stuck to it and if it comes off the earpiece it won’t work at all and there will be no sound...I learned that the hard way. Good luck and awesome job!
Did the same thing last year and it took me ages to figure out why the earpiece wouldn’t work! It's a very fragile cable.
@@fionanoceallaigh6960 Hi Fionán, did you replace the earpiece speaker or the entire cable assembly as well? Just replaced the screen on my iPhone 8 plus but earphone speaker isn't working.

I didnt have any sound before but after reinstalling it again it worked for some reason i dont think i had the sticker on mine?
I literally don’t know a single thing about the insides of iPhones but these videos are just so satisfying to watch. It drives me crazy when people throw away phones with perfectly functional pieces. Keep up the great work!

Wow. Apple really made it hard to replace display after the 6/6s, but at least the home button cable isn’t connected to the charging port like the 5s

Hi there, I’m learning a lot watching your videos, very professional and well explained, I’m wondering if you can gimme a tip, got an iPhone 6s (second hand) with battery and display problem, the battery drains very fast, like from 100% to 10% in 1 hour, and the display and touch sometimes stop working, I need to reboot it, sometimes several times until it works again... any idea what could be?

I replaced a bunch of these LCDs and often times the IC on the LCD flex cable does not align with the notch in speaker inside a phone, then it pushes on the display and creates a light spot on the display. If that happens it's pretty tricky to position that IC directly where it needs to be

i ended up messing up the earpiece, but the camera still worked, while trying to repair on my old iphone 7 then i had to get a new one. the phone ended up rebooting whenever i got phonecalls and even by itself whenever it wanted. think you can go a little more in depth on the earpiece and the camera ribbon cable please? whenever you get a chance👍
I'm going to be replacing my logic board for my iPhone 6 because I forgot the iCloud password and I'm also going to upgrade it to 64 gigs and I won't be able to do it without your help Hugh! Great job!

Hey Hugh I need some advice about a recent purchase of an iPhone 7 I bought of eBay the phone is in excellent condition battery health at 90% still as Touch ID problem is when scrolling either webpage or settings menu if you leave your finger on the page shakes up and down 🤕any ideas cheers 👍

@David Garcia Cirauqui perdón, no logré comprender bien tu comentario, lo que quiero decir es que ponga subtitulos en español para que más personas puedan entender estos vídeos ya que de este tipo de contenido no hay mucho en internet. Pido los subtítulos para las personas que no hablan inglés, yo apenas logro entender este video, no por el acento (que está bien, es como lo escuchamos en clase de inglés) sino porque mi nivel de inglés es bajo, y no tengo los medio para poder estudiar inglés actualmente, además de que el sistema de educación pública de Argentina deja mucho que desear en este ámbito (hablar inglés)
