I started with a different video and messed up, then i found this one and made it to the end! Perfect video. I'll save it for next time i have to do this!
This video was fantastic! I watched several different tutorials before starting my screen replacement and this was one the most thorough. One tip is to make sure you get a high-quality screen replacement. I spent hours doing this only to find out the screen I ordered on Amazon (which had high ratings) was defective (my original home button wouldn't work due to faulty cables on new screen). But overall it is doable to replace your own screen thanks to this video!
Thanks, I just fixed my son's iphone using your tutorial, it was easy to follow, and didn't include any fluff. Just waiting for it to charge up and then boom.
Great video! You explained everything clearly and simple to understand, it helps a lot. Thank you for sharing, tho video is underrated, you deserve more likes!
Great video and I will be using it to replace my screen. One question, I note there is no adhesive tape used is that because it comes with the replacement screen or the tape is not used?
A very good video, I almost trashed my home button cable. Please be sure to get the metal tool under the adhesive before you start to remove. I started to scratch the rubber off the cable which exposed the circuit.
Great video, thank you! One question - has anyone noticed that the colors are off on the new screen? Is that just life with non-OEM or did i maybe not connect something properly? Seems dark/dull.
nice video, I would add disconnect battery just as insurance, and before putting camera back in be sure to have cleaned lenses if they were exposed from the original cracks or like one I replaced on earlier phone camera is foggy. thanks again, I always watch a couple of these before attempting same job to pick up all tips I can to make it easier and fewer chances of messing it up.
Hey bro do i need to transfer original front camera to the new screen cause i bought screen with front speaker, camera and home button, i will transfer home button for touch id but do i need front camera and speaker aswell?
Every home button is unique and is attached to the logicboard of the phone through firmware from factory, so if the cable is damaged unless you can find a way to re-solder it, assistive touch is all you got.
The replacement screen should have adhesive, you can use the pressure from the two screws as well or ad double sided m3 tape if you want to be super safe.
Should’ve gotten a little more expensive/higher quality screen then. Did you expect this guy to just unglue the pieces installed from the factory and risk breaking the new screen?

Awesome, much appreciated. Very helpful. Just replaced my screen and works fine.

Did you have any problems like after You replaced was the performance of the phone the same as before ?
I have a doubt... Does these replacements works like the original?
Good video, however not sufficient info about the camera cable. Do not advise to use hot air to loose the adhesive.
I have a gold iPhone 7 Plus and I always wanted to have a black top so I will do it right now with a excuse of cracked screen replacement
cant remove the screw at 5:50. What can i do? (I JUST BROKE IT.)
Where can I find one?
From my honest experience, just a knife and pressure and patience.
My camera robin came loose from the speaker robin, u said it's glued with adhesive, can I reglue it ? Or did I fuck up and no need to buy it new?
If the cable is intact then you are fine.
The screen works, but know the home button doesn’t work. Do you know why, or the fix?
Georgia yea it’s either you ripped the ribbon or the ribbon doesn’t work, you’re pretty much fucked if it’s broken, you’re gonna have to go to apple
Great video, thank you! One question - has anyone noticed that the colors are off on the new screen? Is that just life with non-OEM or did i maybe not connect something properly? Seems dark/dull.
Did you try to play around in the settings and turn off auto adjust features
Where can i get original iphone 7 plus display

I need to put the small plastic pieces around the camera and microphone but don’t know how to secure it, help?
It should fold into place when inserted correctly.
Hey bro do i need to transfer original front camera to the new screen cause i bought screen with front speaker, camera and home button, i will transfer home button for touch id but do i need front camera and speaker aswell?
Just the home button.
Does the carrier of phone effect what screen I should buy
No difference.

Great video! Thanks for posting.
If the home button flex cable is torn will I be left with assistance touch? What are my options? Jc home button? Thanks

You made my day thanks
Glad to help.
Did you put some glue to the edges of the iPhone or just attach it?
The replacement screen should have adhesive, you can use the pressure from the two screws as well or ad double sided m3 tape if you want to be super safe.
im having issues reattaching the home botton cables :/ idk what im doing wrong
To the shield?
The home button cable to the screen... but I figured it out. I applied a little more pressure and it snapped in perfectly.

Welcome.
After touch id work? Please answer
Touch id is linked to the home button so if you transfer the home button to the new screen touch id will work just fine.
Thanks you answer mr,
I will translate your answer because I am not fluent in english. surely replace another lcd, fingerprint works fine?
As long as you keep the original home button it will work. What is you native language?
thanks man job done
I love how you’re just like “ you may need to transfer the guidance pieces” Nd then don’t show how!
Should’ve gotten a little more expensive/higher quality screen then. Did you expect this guy to just unglue the pieces installed from the factory and risk breaking the new screen?
