On console, nothing beats this in terms of brutal cq combat. No bunny hopping sweats, no niki minaj pure gunplay, positioning and reaction times. Extremely underrated imo.
I absolutely love how there is no killfeed. This makes it so you won't advance blindly after shooting someone because you rarely know for sure if you actually got him or not.
I just discovered this game on gamepass and loving the realism. So many times I have forgotten to check my ammo and have given the enemy the audible “click” from an empty chamber. It makes you take a step back and check your equipment!
CoD is an arcade shooter, not a milsim. I don't know why you would want it to turn into one. There are plenty of fully arcade games and plenty of fully milsim games. CoD as a mix of both is the only alternative, which is the main reason why people can't just ditch CoD even with all of its problems. I don't know why you would want to lose that too.
An Insurgency / Squad game is all ive ever wanted. 100v100 with vehicles like squad with the tactical coordination and vehicles would be peak. Along with Insurgency gameplay and graphics
Insurgency Sandstorm, i been playing since early Insurgency on the Source Engine, what makes it so good, its basically a Milsim game with Battlefield/Call of Duty like gunplay, like a perfect balance & combination gameplay, its either you take it easy or just rush in and no one would likely to complain about it.
There are a fair few forests in the middle east so greener maps like the concept shown aren't far fetched for the setting. A factory map in a Kazakh pine forest similar to parts of Verdansk from Warzone 1 would be dope.

If there is going to be another Insurgency, they should expand it into a large scale shooter. Basically just keep the hardcore gunplay, movement, realism and proximity chat and create a game that blends something like Squad/Battelfield/DAYZ. Call it "Insurgency: Deployed" and let us mod our own servers and venture out into gigantic maps with 64+ players. They would need to implement more long-distance gunplay and ballistics though. Sandstorm is very CQB oriented.
Keep uploading more videos of this if you can! I've been busy and haven't had time to play this myself so to get more of this game in my life would be amazing! I love this game

insurgency gotta be one of the best fps games by far. The game feels really rewarding if you know what you're doing. And my personal favorite about it, is the community.
I started playing Insurgency since the HL Mod days when it was still in Beta. I don't even play the regular competitive mode anymore, pretty much just 100% Coop. It tickles my hardcore shooter with casual gaming mode itch. The gunplay is just spot on between hardcore/casual, and there are so many good guns that are well modelled and still feel fun to shoot after years. Great game, especially on sale. Recommended.
I want a gaming PC but on I’ve always be on PS and on PS4 I can’t think of a better FPS game? I’ve been playing for about a year now and I’m just broke level 800 yesterday. The née train yard map is challenging and I like it. I like all the maps honestly. I wish they would make a jungle/woods map set in different locations/countries. Maybe even a different enemy? I know it’s “Insurgents” but would be cool to go against say for example maybe North Korea, Germans, Russians could go on and on. The Russian would work both ways as you could be the insurgents and it would be historically accurate since Russia invaded them at one point. Cool video here and good work.
This game is so good, especially for being released in 2018. Great controller support, lots of game modes, and you can always get in games. There is a slight learning curve when it comes to shooting, but it's not that bad.
I'm pleased they stuck with their guns and rode this one out instead of abandoning it like they did with Day of Infamy, I just wish their armour system was a little bit more unified in how it actually worked, since it still feels like heavy armour is completely pointless to wear outside of being able to eat an extra bullet from most weapons.
I personally love playing on weekends ISMC coop with a few diff tight groups and others.. im usually commander and between a SL in HLL and commander in this my new thing i been noticing is HEEEAAAADAAAACHES from gun pops PEW PEW PEW hahah tomo keep it up!
The G3A3 is the best sniper rifle in the game. You can use it whenever you want. 20 rounds of 7.62 Nato, Bipod, 4x Scope, Flash hider, only costs 10 Supply, leaving you room for a heavy carrier and a Sidearm. Do not use the suppressor because gunshot noises are only a problem in CQB.
Inside Modern buildings in the U.S or anywhere else in the world on different type of missions like trying to free a hostage without your team dying but still with the same gameplay, movements and everything. The style of this game on different regions or surroundings and with different missions would be hella fun
Pretty sure that's what Ready or Not is going for, I haven't played it but I know there's missions where you have to rescue hostages and different things like that

There is nothing like I:SS. 100% in the same boat as Tomo, it's one of those games that will never get uninstalled from my rig so I can scratch the itch when it occus. And a UE5 version of Insurgency? Oh man, yes please.
I'm going to stop you right there on the UE5 version of the game, what will end up happening is that they're completely unfamiliar with the engine, and it will cause the optimization of the game to go straight down the gutter and be unplayable for most players.... Which is exactly what happened when Insurgency: Sandstorm first launched.
I used to play this game a lot, but only the Co-Op mode, then I stopped playing as much and only occasionally checked in when an update came out, and now I haven't touched it in years I think
Personally found it in my backlog and decided to play it with a couple of friends for hours on end. Absolutely hilarious and fun. Definitely a recommended game!

9:33 Well BATTLEFIELD always had that issue of having spaced out maps but you never see player engagements in regions that were developed really well but their empty all the time
i play at least 10 hours a week i still cant find one that feels this good, i hope the next one is the same just updated and new environments like citys and forests

I love atmosphere in sandstorm. it isn't filtered to appeal to children like other shooters, like people don't just "turn off" when you shoot them you can see them still moving in pain which is pretty dark. also Russian mercenary in his voice lines straight up calls you fa**ot which is funny to me.
This is by far the best modern fps game out right now and should be the direction all fps games move towards. My only grievance is the bugs. They seem worse with the most recent update.
Mod support on console would truly make this game the top fps on the console market in my opinion. It’s so close, and I wish it had some key systems that would make it better for everyone (better progression, ranked, etc). but it’s definitely one of the best shooters for us peasants

This and Isonzo has been my go-to shooter games lately, just can't get enough of the action, it's very immersive.

The 338 recon was my favorite sounding sniper in BF4, so much so that I preferred it to other snipers. The 338 in Insurgency follows suit
