I'm planning on walking the Dales High Way this year and have found your videos interesting and informative. Thank you.

Your welcome. It’s a great trail and deserves more fame, so good to hear of your plans. Also, just noticed your picture profile with the charm bracelet from the Cleveland Way, which is a bit of a coincidence as I’ve just passed it about 24 hours ago! Thanks for watching and I do appreciate the comment. Cheers, Nigel

I walked the Cleveland Way 2 years ago, enjoyable walk. I did the Coast to Coast last year, the Dales Way 3 years ago, so the Dales High Way will be my fourth long distance walk and I'm looking forward to it.@@AmblingTrails

I’ve just found your channel and loving it so far! I love how you take the time to film yourself doing bits of the walk, no matter what the weather is, when I think most people would just feel like cracking on when there are so many miles to go! I would like to know more about the camping at the end of each day. Do you always wild camp?

Thanks for taking the time to comment, really appreciate that. In terms of wild camping, I would say mainly. If at the end of day a small campsite is to hand, I will use it, mainly to get a shower and possibly recharge my batteries for videoing. Also, happy to use a YHA under similar circumstances if they’re not fully booked. Now you’ve got me thinking, I would say 1:5 nights on average not wild camping but varies greatly depending on the route. Cheers
