ERF truck with a trailer and milk cans. Restoring Corgi Giftset No. 21 to factory condition.

- The Corgi company produced a gift set consisting of an RF truck and a trailer in the years 1962-1967. The set was used to transport milk cans. I had the elements of this set for quite a long time, but I could not find the milk cans, which were cast in an integrated form. They were also available in stores as a separate item for purchase. My trailer was not the original from the set, but by changing the color scheme I adapted it to create a unity. It is not just a platform, but a trailer with sides. I added the missing milk cans to the trailer by casting their copy in polyurethane resin. I also created a box with the platform, so that the set looked like a factory one. The film has subtitles, subtitles can be turned on in the settings on your mobile phone, on a desktop computer and on your TV.

Prace blacharskie, nowa produkcja bańek na mleko, ale przede wszystkim skręcanie przestrzeni ładunkowej i podwozia. Bardzo trudno (ze względu na cienką warstwę materiału) wiercić i wycinać gwinty... A jednak było to możliwe. 🤩👍🏼

Body work, the new production of the milk cans, but above all the screwing of the loading area and chassis. It's very difficult (given the thin material) to drill and cut threads... Nevertheless, it was possible. 🤩👍🏼

Karosseriearbeiten, die Neufertigung der Milchkannen, aber vor allem die Verschraubung von Ladefläche und Chassis. Es ist sehr schwierig (bei dem dünnen Material) zu bohren und Gewinde zu schneiden... Trotzdem war es möglich. 🤩👍🏼

Paul, fantastic work as usual. Can you say what the reason was to make a copy of the milk churns when you obviously have the original? Just curious.
1. Paul; do you know what the "self-adhesive decorative accessories" advertised on the box were? Were there labels for different dairies, perhaps?
2. Odd that the box refers to "milk churns." Those are milk cans, not churns, which are used to make butter.

Admittedly it is a lot more involved than the method you already use.
Szkoda że nie miałem takich zabawek gdy byłem dzieckiem. Codziennie woził bym nim mleko do mleczarni, a tam produkowano by pyszny twaróg który trafiał do sklepów. Miłe wspomnienia. Piękny zestaw do zabawy.👏
