    Looking good nothing better than a good juicy burger . And I learned something new I never adjust the P setting so turning it up makes more smoke huh

    • @BUMMERSBARBQ
      @BUMMERSBARBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but it give a lower temperature but more smoke......but it willl only work when you have it on the smoke setting.....video coming out tomorrow trying to show how the P setting works.....thanks for watching.

    What pellets were you using? Does P7 setting give you more smoke? I get confused on the P settings for my pit boss.

    • @BUMMERSBARBQ
      @BUMMERSBARBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      FJH12 was using the pit boss competition blend.....yes the higher p setting gives more smoke but less heat......but only when using the smoke setting.....going to be doing a video on the p setting soon....

    • @williamriley2528
      @williamriley2528 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Higher the P setting the more the and the lower the temperature; but at P 6 and P 7 you run the risk of flame out because the temperature so low...

    People look at me like i'm crazy when i tell them i cook a burger @ 250 from beginning to end, on my pellet grill. If you enjoy a smokey burger, give it a try.

      Didn't go be time on this cook went by internal temp which is more important to me....trying to get better with letting people know the time.

      Had it on Smoke Setting with P Set to 7 and smoked the for about 18-19 minutes, turned grill up to 350 and grilled for about another 12 minutes. The flipped burgers turned down to 250 and checked temps after about another 7-8 minutes, added in the Cheese when internal temp was about 155-165 and then let cheese melt for about 5 minutes then pulled them off.

      Nothing like a smoked burger yum next time you make a burger after you flip it but a dollop of peanut butter on it then add your cheese as you normally do, I know it sounds wierd but it doesn’t taste like peanut butter it adds a nutty taste it’s so good try it on at least one patty your going to like it I guar-on-tee hope you try it hip hip!!!

    You turn the heat up and downs not good, you need even heat. And smashing the hamburgers release the juices is the worst thing you can do. Plus you didn't temp them.
    Just my opinion don't mean to insult you, Sir.

    • @BUMMERSBARBQ
      @BUMMERSBARBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BigE. OhioStateFan sorry but yes I did temp them and in the video....right after I flipped them....I turned the heat down because I didn’t want them burnt....

    • @BUMMERSBARBQ
      @BUMMERSBARBQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Just checked and yes I did do internal temp check and only barely pushed down on 2 of the 9 burgers and no where enough to push the juice out.
