    This video reveals 6 crucial settings you should tweak now for a smoother Excel journey. Perfect for anyone looking to enhance their productivity and ease of use in Excel.
    👉 Key Highlights:
    ▪️ Control Cell Movement on Enter: Learn how to stay in the same cell after pressing Enter, ideal for frequent formula users.
    ▪️ AutoCorrect for Long Phrases: Save time by setting up auto-completion for commonly used long texts like company names.
    ▪️ Custom Lists for Quick Filling: Discover how to create and use custom lists for repeated elements like months or departments, applicable across all workbooks.
    ▪️ Preferred Pivot Table Layout: Set a default layout for pivot tables to avoid constant adjustments, including style and column width settings.
    ▪️ Streamlined Startup: Adjust Excel's startup settings to suit your workflow - skip the start screen and dive straight into a new workbook.
    ▪️ Preserve Leading Zeros: Stay ahead with a new beta feature that maintains leading zeros in numbers, crucial for product codes or phone numbers.

    Something you didn't mention with autocorrect is that the entries you add here apply for all Office programs not just Excel - which I find really useful.

    • @j.ballsdeep420
      @j.ballsdeep420 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Or in reverse, if you don't want shit to autocorrect your _also_ need to do this in ever single office app to shut off autocorrect. Shit is so annoying.

    • @bencodykirk
      @bencodykirk ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I was going to say this too. So if you create an AutoCorrect entry in another Office app it will be in Excel too! Sharing is caring!

    All of these are good suggestions, Leila!
    The first one I have configured myself for quite a long time already (keep the cell selected).
    I combine that with the fact that I have unchecked the automatic fill down of the column formula in an Excel Table (I decide on that manually - and I do get a useful icon for that every time the occasion presents itself).

    I'm going to activate the 5th right now. It is very annoying to have to always choose the blank workbook.
    Another that I think is very useful is, in Advanced, the one that allows the editing of cells. I don't like to edit cells when I double-click. I'd rather go the reference that's made there. It is very usefull to review files and immediately go to the sheet or analisys that I want to see!
    I look forward for another video of you 💚
