Tired of wasting hours in Excel? Pivot Tables can cut your work in half 👉 www.xelplus.com/course/excel-pivot-tables/ 👈 My Pivot Table Essentials course will teach you how.
Awesome. You deliver your sessions in the most effective ways. Very interesting, easy to follow and focus through it. Your videos are of massive help to me. Well-done.
Another great Vid Leila 🙂. Suggestion to make it even more interactive is provide source data so we can try it ourselves , also likely to push your average viewing time up which should also impact your revenue stream. Moving onto your power BI dashboard
I did this on a data Set a few months ago. Excel delivered 30 some graphs , most of which were pointless for my use case (like the first column was some ID and excel showed me the sum). A bunch were really obvious but I knew the data already so... on completely foreign data it might have been cool. 3 or so insights were unique. 2 of them again useless but at least unique and something that wasn't immediately obvious. And what's really cool for the management level who always asks for graphs but doesn't bother reading them: excel out the quintessential result as a heading to the graph. Something which is hard to automate even with macros, without manually adding a ton of cases. This is really a task that I can see AI doing for me in the future. Write a heading and 2-3 sentences about the analysis I created. And I just need to proofread it before sending it out.
Not only is this video helpful, but you've made an excel tutorial less boring. AIs are really helpful indeed. I'm using Bluewillow recently to induce an idea and lessens the mental block in generating visuals and designs.
Just an idea for a future video I'd like to see you "Do your magic" on subscribers own sheets. You ask subscribers to send in their sheets and you show what could be done to improve their processes and functions.
Great AI tool you've shown here! We can see a lot AIs now evolving and being integrated into different fields. Similarly, Bluewillow is also evolving as an image generator. Maybe in the future we'd also have presentations purely made by AI.
This may work well for smaller data sets. But most of the data sets I work with over 100,000 records and over 50 entries per record. The Analyze Data feature has a hard time prioritizing and seems to offer up mostly random associations.
Hi Leila, is this feature available in Excel 2019? can't find it, I'm a Planning Manager and analyzing data is one of the most important tasks in my role, thank you for sharing your knowledge, your Awesome!
I was excited to use this feature after watching Leila's video on How to use Analyze Data. However, no matter where I look for help, I cannot get a version that she is showing (not even the same icon) for my Excel 2016. I would gladly take a course if that would be included
GAH! I'm finding this video a week too late bc I was asked very similar questions recently. Oh well, this is a fantastic video that I will be referencing the next time I get these questions. Thank you. 😊
Nice video like everytime.......but please provide some alternatives to your solutions for old excel users too........In india specifically, we don't throw the old things as soon as new things come in market, instead of that we repair them and use them again......by keeping that in mind, we still have previous versions of excel (mostly 2016 or 2019) so please make sure that you provide trick to do the same work in those old versions too, as most of these options are not available in previous versions.......
Hi Leila, thanks for all great training videos you are sharing. They are super helpful. I have a question about this command. I enabled this command in my Excel 365 Home tab but it is grayed out. What should I do? I tried everything to make it work but no success yet. Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much Leila. I really hadn't tried using this feature beyond the suggestions it gives when I am inserting formulas in my data. This is so helpful?
Hi Leila, is it possible that Analyze Data feature is only available for english version of Excel? I noticed, i was missing the feature even tho I am an Office Insider. When i switch to an english language pack however, the feature suddenly pops up. If you know anything about the matter I would really appreciate your expertise. And also - many thanks for all the awesome work you put in to educate us and make everyone EXCELlent :))
Hi Thank you for this video it was very helpful. Is there a way to search part of a column info in Excel Row and create a new column just with the search ie fruit type - orange which ends with a enter/return key. Have you already completed a video on this that u can direct me to?
Hi Leila. As you are such a powerful educator, I thought I might ask you a question. I have built a userform in excel and all the text boxes would clear and transfer as they should - except, I thought I would tweak it a bit and add two new fields. To my dismay, they do not clear as they should and wondered if you might be able to assist me in this frustrating adventure.
Hi Leila, We can't use Data Analyse tool because of regional differences. For example, I'm living in Turkey and this button is not activated. In order to be used this tool, we have to change our language in English version of Excel and than it is being activated. Is there any way to use this useful tool?
That is because Analyze Data uses Natural Language - the way people like us write and not "another" programming language. Excel has 3 "programming languages" already: 1. Excel functions (translated to many languages, it is a kind of functional programming language despite many don't think in that way); 2. VBA (English only like 99% of all programming languages in this world); 3. TypeScript (a superset of JavaScript like 99% of these new object/web-oriented programming languages, it is based on something like "English-stenotype" and "Math-symbols-with-no-rules"); To prevent a 4th programming Analyze Data Natural Language was developed by Microsoft in English, French, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese only. The Natural Language activates (or uploads) the language pack (lexicon, dictionary, etc.) for these languages. That has been my fight for years: against world information & knowledge dominated by "ASCII-and-almost-English-biased" technology.
#mindblown Did not expect #microsoft to integrate AI features that quickly, although they poured in billions into OpenAI since 2019 and in January announced to invest another 10 billion. Lets see where this takes us and the office suite ...

Once again, Leila doesn’t disappoint us with her knowledge 😊
But "analyze data " feature is not available in most excels, is it to be bought separately as an add in? We use tableau for all this kind of work
How to enable that option
The best content on Excel topics. ❤🔥🙌🏼
your smile makes it quick and painless
Awesome. You deliver your sessions in the most effective ways. Very interesting, easy to follow and focus through it. Your videos are of massive help to me. Well-done.
How timely. I finally started playing with this just last week. Go figure Leila reads my mind and posts a video on it.
😊

I played around this tool when I saw it. But I learned bit more by seeing your video. Thank a bunch
You're very welcome!

I HAVENT COMPLETED WATCHING BUT I ALREADY LOVE IT.

This is crazy useful. I've seen that natural language query feature in PowerBI but didn't realise it's also available in Excel. Thanks!
Thanks for this video, but Can you tell me which Excel version is available Analyze Data rebon?
Thanks for the tips, Leila. Just to add, I believe a vb code can be used to automatically refresh the pivot tables whenever the source data changes.
She covers auto refresh for changing data in the last 45 seconds or so.
You can equally add your data to a model and set auto-refresh
Nice demonstration. Best wishes from Cincinnati USA
The God of Excel 😄 perfect as usual
Where has this been my whole life? Very cool!
The most insightful video I've ever watched since the beginning of 2023
Thanks a million for that 🤩🤩🤩
Wow! 😳😊
Just an idea for a future video
I'd like to see you "Do your magic" on subscribers own sheets. You ask subscribers to send in their sheets and you show what could be done to improve their processes and functions.
That sounds interesting and is similar to what we do but we break it up by topic and simplify data sets so that it applies to a wider audience.
Plz help me how to add this in my excel. I have a exam on Monday.plz plz @@LeilaGharani
Appreciate it! I used it yesterday, Its Super usefull leila, Thank you to help me relax as well :-)
Thanks for the video Leila. But I didn’t get how to get started on this? Is this the newer excel version?

Very nicely explained

This is amazing, super handy, thanks for the video Leila!

How to add analyse data tool
In which excel versions is this functionality available?
Is there a way that from the value, it would show the data from the spreadsheet and not use the count or sum of value?
Hi Thank you for this video it was very helpful. Is there a way to search part of a column info in Excel Row and create a new column just with the search ie fruit type - orange which ends with a enter/return key. Have you already completed a video on this that u can direct me to?

Quick question Leila, how do you format your data set to make it official? 7:47
I need to know this too please
Hi Leila. As you are such a powerful educator, I thought I might ask you a question. To my dismay, they do not clear as they should and wondered if you might be able to assist me in this frustrating adventure.
This is wonderful
Is this option available for free account ? If yes, can anyoneplease share the steps to activate.
Love these tips. Using now to analyze a data set of test results by 30 locations. 😎 Thanks Leila!
Glad it was helpful!

Could you please share all the practical files which you use for the video

Great content as the usual, thank you for that. Quick question: I don't have this feature "Analyze Data" or "Ideas" in my Excel, how do I get it?
It's available in Excel for Microsoft 365 and Excel for the web.
