This is great. I was Oline in HS and College in the last 90's, it was always about power in the GYM. But 70% of the time we were catching D-linesman and Forward Power does not help. You need Arm Wrestler strength in your legs. To catch the weight and absorb. In the Shuttle I was one of the quickest. At LT it I could shuttle a 4.7sec at 290 LBs. I often was a pulling tactual. But in heavy rushes I would weakin on smaller guys. This would have helped!
@@g8x2keeper Hey what do u recommend for me ik im gonna be a line men and im gonna try to join the team when school starts im 6’0 and 250 But never have played what should do
Wish I had access to knowledge like this back in the late 90s. Without any real training I ran a 5 flat at 295, agile, flexible (can still do a split) and good athleticism, but no real weight training coach.

i’m 6’5 265 sophomore and all my lifts besides bench are strong because i’ve always had naturally strong legs but my chest lacks, how can i improve my bench?
Depends on how strong you are. My pop Warner team never did strength workouts and I could barely do 125 my first day as a freshman in the weight room. Now I’m a sophomore and i rep 225 so just keep working because we are young and we gain muscle fast 💪🏽
I am a 200lbs 5'6 12 year old going into 8th grade. I bench 145, squat 225 and deadlift 280. Is that good? Been training for about 7 months. Anything I should improve?
14 years old 6’1 300 just finished my freshmen season and my first season ever .played the O and D line and have no idea what to do during off-season 😂
Build your Stamina. You can be the fastest and strongest dude on the entire team but if you don't have Stamina its useless. Stamina is the foundation of athleticism
Very stupid to do the snatch lift, unless you're a competitive weightlifter. It's a very technical lift and a lot of things can go wrong and you have a high risk of injury. Your training should strengthen you and not expose you to potential injury.

A good max weight for a college freshman Lg bench? One of the most underrated Channels💯 thanks for the vids
About 380 to 420. Hope that helps 👍
If you’re in college and can bench 400 and Squat 600 youre pretty solid.
Of course tho, some players aren’t going to be that strong and still have great playing strength
@@vinnylepre98 Very true

Bench max is very over rated. Think more about power cleans or what ever your explosive lifts are.

Probably around 225-240
2 plates to 250
Can we have one for linebackers? Please sir!
Absolutely. We also have a video coming out soon where we show training of one of the NFL Linebackers that trains with us 👍
