      OG Sperm Cell there’s also that other guy, Mike McGlinchey. I really thought the 9ers reached for that guy in the draft but boy was I wrong. He’s panning out to be pretty good too.

    • @ogspermcell
      @ogspermcell 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      mcsuchnsuch he was a bit older as a rookie but mcglinchy has got a good game for a tackle im surprised the 49ers didn’t move him to Lt instead they traded for Williams.

    • @mcsuchnsuch
      @mcsuchnsuch 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OG Sperm Cell I don’t know the answer to that but as a Eagles fan, I read an old article why Lane Johnson was kept at RT when Jason Peters went on IR. It was for a couple reasons but mainly because he’s such a dominant RT, switching him to the left side would hinder both sides. Lane would struggle to adjust to the LT side while the RT will be weakened by a depth chart guy there. So keeping Lane at RT would give the Eagles only the LT to worry about but can be helped out with TEs or RBs staying home to help block. Vaitai took over at LT mid season and did a good job for a backup all the way to the Super Bowl. It’s now a small trend to have dominant RTs to defend against quality RDEs like Von Miller and Danielle Hunter.

    Only player to make first first team all pro his first 3 years in the nfl since barry sanders, will be by far the best lineman of his generation.

    Great video.
    I love this stuff.
    The film sessions are better than the actual live game.

    After watching him lay Mark Ingram out, I just realized that the NFL is hating on OL MEN, why isn't that play a NFL highlight when they show the highlights???🤔🤔🤔🤔

      Reasons like this are why O-Line Twitter exists - they'll get the highlights that don't make ESPN

    This video should be shown to every offensive lineman from JV to D1 O-lineman should be shown and re-shown.
    It’s the hardest group position in football. He pulled around the tackle to blow up the play side linebacker (which was absolutely brilliant) and he did that on a play where a pull wasn’t designed. With the line sliding and shifting down to set the running lane, if he would have climbed the ladder to blow up the play side backer not only would he have had to adjust his angle of attack to keep from being caught up, now he’s on the outside of the running lane being set and the backer could crash the tail end of the running lane giving the running back no where to go except out of bounds. The I.Q. To pull to the inside of the running lane allowed him to seal or engage the play side backer before he got to the running back. If you aspire to be an offensive lineman, you need to STUDY the film of how he chose to block the smaller defensive tackle from the Falcons, because that isn’t taught, infact there is not a drill that you will go through where you rotate your hips out sealing off the defensive tackle like he did. Listen to every word he speaks on why he did that, watch it over and over until it becomes part of your soul. While you are listening to why he blocked him like that, you are getting a look into the mind of a future Hall of Famer.

    I'm a USC die hard and I give props to ND for continuing to develop top level lineman like this guy and a number of others. While over here on the west coast, USC has had one offensive lineman drafted in the 1st round in the last 7 years.

    One of the Two best O-linemen in the League . Should have been the first pick in the draft for the Bears , when they drafted Trubisky.
    Offensive linemen the Heart and Soul of every team , be it NFL , College , H.S. or Pop Warner .
    Closest knit group on every team .
