I love how it’s Jordan’s voice that comes in from the freezing cold and pulls us in with this story and then picks us back up and carries us back into the black and freezing cold and SO much worse than it was before. I think at this point he’s transcended sheer storytelling.
Ohh yes all the true Arctic warmth of the Canadian Good Samaritan. Damn does he know whereof he speaks. Oscar worthy Jordan inso far at that even matters.

I was afraid of what would happen when he said “we need to feed off each others’ goodness, and not deny our basic human nature.” I wonder what happened to the baby, and if they called the police when they got away.
I guessed correctly what the "steak" was as soon as it was described. What I didn't expect was that the source of it was still alive in some cases...

Just a thought Jordan for you to use and discard at your leisure but even a hint of warning that the story I was about to hear would lift me by the hair kicking and screaming across the bloody tundra MIGHT be appreciated. Holy shit ! I need more of those types of stories in my life I had anxiety over fictional characters. I almost thought their was a demon in the darkness outside but no just real life monsters. I think it’s what makes this so scary is their are people like that in the world . On top of the writing the narration along with it really added to this true horror story
This reminds me of a more terrifying version of that one episode in the walking dead season 1 on that farm

Oh this...topic (I don't like to say it in comments, b/c I don't want to give it away to someone listening/reading comments...) it's a taboo horror topic, y'know. It's creepy, yet we flock to it in stories, in horror. It's like a wreck - you know you shouldn't look, b/c you might see something you don't want to, but you just can't look away. It's a fave "creepy" choice in horror for me! I like this kinda story.

7:35 MST! I guess this wasn’t a comment at 2: 00 pm! My phone literally disappeared like a possessed artifact at work from right beside me! My co worker and I crawled all over the floor looking for it, but it had disappeared from right from underneath me. Which is probably a good thing! If my supervisor catches me on your comment section every day, my job will disappear like a possessed artifact! But seriously! It is stone cold gone with no way it conceivably could be!
