As someone who works in house Audiovisual in a healthcare setting this video was just comedy gold for me. from microphone etiquette to the lighting. I'm pretty sure you summed up around 60% of my life. One note though, you have way more trust in hospital power than I do! :) Happy holidays, great content as always!!
honestly you're an inspiration man. Me and my friends started a live audio company we are just 3 people and watching youre videos has been fun and i learned a lot.
Awesome stuff! I love seeing other people's perspectives on how they work and what they do differently. Me myself im currently learning via school events and shows so this is amazing to watch and I have alot to learn!
Best way to close out the year with some holiday gigs! Those are usually easy! Man, people that place the mic on their chest are always troublesome. I’m a mobile dj, so I use SCM410 for feedback suppression.
How come you don't use the subs more often? With this situation I understand because it's only talking anyway. Great video once again. You guys are great and make my day❤ happy holidays!
Tu forma de trabajo me gusta, tengo una empresa de sonido en Venezuela y esa forma te estoy copiado te felicito amigo éxitos feliz navidad y un buen año.
Ever considered a column array for the corporate events e.g. LD, Bose, RCF, EV ? you would get away with just 2 in that space - great video - glad you're getting the corporate gigs - show me the money!
Hey bro I really enjoy your videos. I think you should consider using a graphich EQ instead of a parametric when ringing out the PA/wedges. I avoided doing so for a long time, and once I started it made everyting much much easier. and yes, I'm aware of the fact you cant use both parametric and graphich EQ in most Behringer mixers, so what I ended up doing, is using a graphic EQ as an insert on the main bus. works fine
Does your mixer have a feedback assistance feature I just got the CQ18T and it does like to compare between your adjustments to the automatic adjustments with my mixer. Merry Christmas look forward to more videos next year!
When do u choose to use these kind of speaker stands and when do u choose to use those 3 legged ones? These kind of gigs are the "best" least issues and pay decent!
I think the flex stands are tidier looking, and can fit into tighter spaces, so I use them for speaking events mostly. I used the three legged one for the second gig because I didn't have a fourth flex stand. Thanks for watching dude!
I listened to A Charlie Brown Christmas 20 times this month. What have you done lately? Hope everyone has a good Christmas!
“I think we’re good” the saying of every sound guy 😂

You have a world class OMG expression.
You seem to have the perfect temperament for this business. That is something you can’t learn.
Great Vid man! Roughly How much did you charge for an event like this? Future videos on leads and pricing would be dope! Thanks

Hey, thanks! It’s cool that you’re diving into this at school! Keep learning-you're gonna crush it!
Merry Christmas Connor! Love the way you format these. Clean simple, and hilarious. LOL the eating bit w the cutaways of the mic technique😂
You should try turning up the RTA offset in mixing station to get more sensitive bars when using the parametric EQ. Helps me a lot.
Always love checking out your videos as soon as they drop! Keep it up

Which non-tripod stands do you use? Great channel of information by the way.

I don't think so but I've never looked for one. Merry Christmas man!
I do the same type of work. What is best way you would recommend getting gigs?
Nice and chill!
Did you ever look into getting a winch for your fan, to pull your gear inside the van when it rains and the ramp is wet, yet?
Not yet, we got the partition installed first. That's a project for the new year!
Me watching with a single TH-15A thump 😮
Me watch with 12 RCFs 😃😃
Do you also eq the room, or just ring out the mics?
just the mics
