The version of Tharael that lives in your house (if you convince him) has a bug where his aggro radius is disabled, but his attack radius isn't, so he just goes crazy and attacks everything inside. Had to fix that in my tweaks mod because I came home to find him punching my dogs and assaulting my house staff. Also got rid of that hair because he just doesn't look right with it.
I have the cats mod and he went after the tuxedo cat in that house, which was pretty funny considering As'Qa (who was fortunately immortal so Tharael couldn't technically hurt him) was just purring and meowing while being chased by the new traumatized roommate.
I always stage my quests around these moments - meet Lishari already at the Fat Leoran, or run into Dijaam and Tharael in The False Dog at the same time to hang for a night and get high down there.. Tharael stabbed my dog to death many time’s in my house when it would begin to bark- mfn ptsd glitch, I think only with a certain house mod.. I had a Myrad live in my house with him in one play through also that was hard as hell to not have crash my game immediately but hilarious when he’d go insane immediately while I chilled there lmfao Sucks still not having a pc - can’t wait to get back to this- also love your video on Barnabas- I’ve always noticed people miss his exhibit in play throughs, I find him to be interesting as hell - and he prob wrote “concerning the holiness of the Holy Order” outside his shop- even though it sounds like a second from the wayward wanderer, as does Order. Anyway- love your channel, insanely interesting in whatever you’ve got coming out next
Ahahaha, I can easily imagine that from Tharael!! That's an interesting thought, that Barnabas might have written the book. His exhibit (and shop) was quite a surprise, in my playthrough I thought it was a kind of beacon that I had to activate with Black Stones or crystals 😝 Thanks, I'm super excited for the next mystery, it's going to be full of revelations, less atmospheric than the others but there's so much to say this time. And insanely long, still working on it! I also hope to get my new computer soon, there are some scenes that I'd like to re-record better. Fingers crossed for both of us
I played Enderal in both German and English and I didn't notice the false god. The double meaning of Falscher Hund was clear to me. The version of "Seid willkommen ihr frohen Zecher" you play here in the background sounds really cool btw. Where is it from? In the end it was totally clear I'd like this video as it's about Enderal! :>
Glad you liked it! I found the song in the file E - Sounds.bsa, inside the folder \sound\fx\enderal\bards. The file can be opened with BSA Browser, and there are many interesting songs and sounds in there, like the instrumental version of the Aged Man and Wayward Wanderer, but also other things that didn't make it into the game, like this song.
