I'd really love to see your take on the veiled woman, the father, what did the temple show coarek?, how the cycle can be broken and what was different about this one (if anything), the high ones. This game has so many mysteries to cover and so many hints to cover it with!!!! Also, tangentially related and i have no proof of this, but when i played through the rhalaim storyline and got to the bit fighting daddy i dropped one of the crispy meats out of my inventory and dragged it towards him, which instantly killed him. Now I'm not sure if that's actually what's supposed to happen and not just my two companions killing him, but it was very funny at the time.

Your way of relaying theories is so entertaining that I ended up watching both of your Enderal videos in one breath! It's so nice to see some content on Enderal. It's a shame that this masterpiece of a game barely gets any recognition.
I absolutely Love that someone is doing this deep dive into one of my favorite entertainment experiences. Both book and Game have left an unforgettable mark on me, to the point that it's affected how I write my characters. I played Enderal before and after reading both versions of the book and even still i had forgotten Varroy's middle name. My reasoning was this: - Zar'Ah and we both see the person closest to our heart; for Tharaêl that's Letho; - when we see the illusion, Zar'Ah is shocked but Tharaêl immediately says "Kill it"; he knows it's an illusion because whomever he sees is long dead (or at least he thinks so); - Zar'Ah says "And what if it wasn't an illusion? What if this temple... I don't know, teleported him inside somehow?", implying she knew the person she was seeing; Tharaêl asks "Him?" in confusion, because there is no way Zar'Ah could know Letho, and immediately understands we are seeing different things. Still I didn't feel the reasoning was watertight, and that I could have interpreted the lines to see what I wanted to see, so I decided to say "probably" to keep on the safe side. Let's say I'm 99% sure. Let me know what you think 😃

This Enderal Mystery series is amazing! Your detective skills are so good! So many clear details that just went over my head! but that hidden in plain sight aspect is what makes the story so great. I look forward to the next one!
I don't think Tharael sees Letho in the temple. When Zar'ah says "What if the temple teleported him inside somehow," Tharael reacts with surprise to "him," indicating he saw a woman. Just a blind guess, but maybe he saw Sister Pride? The only person since Letho he was even remotely close to? After all, when you tell him about her death (if you actually kill her), he gets...sentimental? At least as sentimental as he can be.
Had the same doubts, I thought he might even be referring to Sha'Gun, the matron of the Refuge. I'm happy i'm not the only one who tought Lysia and Zar'ah were the same person. Btw Jespar called her an healer but it's not all about game mechanics. Maybe he meant she had some medical skills. I'm pretty sure that any arcanist, lore wise, has the power to face half a dozen of bandits. I'm definitely look for Dreams of the dying now, or better for the twelwth world. Do you think that once he's done with the trilogy he will write the full story of Enderal? He would have full creative control and nothing would stop him from writing a proper sequel(with all the names changed of course)

There is so much more in the book, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Personally, I don't think we'll ever get a proper sequel to Enderal. Not just because of the copyright situation, but The Twelve World seems to be going in another direction than Enderal. I am not affiliated in any way to SureAI or Nicolas Lietzau, I'm just a big fan, so don't take my word for the truth. For example: the lightborns in Nehrim even tough they are not gods, are still godlike entities linked to an higher power, but in Enderal they're just normal people with peak magical powers(and there are MUCH bigger differences for the setting but i can't tell you without making spoilers). Long story shorts Enderal is a sequel but it has its own lore. One of the reasons Nicolas changed the name of the books is(aside from the copyright) because he wanted to tell his own story. He answered to the ones who asked if the game would had a sequel but he never said anything about the twelwth world.(The high ones, the Prophet, the Cleansing and the Fleshless ones were all his own lore and had nothing to do with the previous games). So he didn't really say anything about a sequel to the story, just about the sequel to the game. (Sorry if i wrote an essay but i'm glad to have met someone who loves this game as much as i do)

*Spoilers ahead* Fun thing about Lysia in the "Dreams of the Dying novel" One of the main reasons why Jespar drifted away from her is that soon after meeting her, he got infected by a very specific insect that slowly plunged a man's mind into a coma of living nightmares. And during a romantic moment with Lysia, jespar suffered from one such episode (I think it was the first), which frea-fucking-ed him out. The novel says that after that, every time our dashing white knight thought of her, that nightmarish scene would flash before his eyes. And then he promptly went to fuck a hot twink named Kawu. Lovely video my friend, observant, clever, the visual gags were quite entertaining. Good video. Shame I can't subscribe twice.

It has been a struggle. Early in the making I decided to wait for what I mention at the end, as much of the mystery required to delve into the topic and it felt a bit like a promotion, so why not make it into one. As a kind of thanks, I guess every bit helps. Then as the months passed and the video laid unpublished, I started doubting that decision 😅 Thank you for waiting, today is finally the day! The good news is, I've been working on mystery #3. I'd say I'm halfway, maybe a bit further. It's the most complicated investigation until now, I keep cutting out what's not strictly relevant but it's going to be at least 1:20. What I found is unbelievable, it's going to be a real game changer 🤯
If you're on pc you can use console commands. Press ~ to open the console, then enter player.additem 0502E190 1 to get one Zar'Ah's Saber. The rest cannot be obtained, for what I know. Cool idea! 🗡
