Easy delicious homemade pizza
My recipe for thin, crunchy pizza, as we like it in Rome.
00:00 Tools and ingredients
00:52 Making the dough
02:04 Laying the base
02:41 Mixing the sauce
04:02 'Nduja love
04:32 Cooking time
05:15 Enjoy!
*INGREDIENTS*
wheat flour flour (0.5 kilo ≈ 1 pound)
half bag dry baker's yeast (3.5 grams ≈ 0.123 ounces)
salt
water
1 peeled tomato tin can (200 grams ≈ 7 ounces)
extra-virgin olive oil
salt
oregano (optional)
'nduja (or another spicy salami)
1 mozzarella (125 grams ≈ 4.4 ounces)
butter (to grease the baking tray)
*PREPARATION*
Mix flour, yeast and salt.
Add water and knead until you have an elastic ball.
Cover to keep warm and wait 3 hours, or until risen.
Grease the tray with butter.
Spread half of the risen pizza dough on the tray.
Crush the peeled tomatoes in a dish.
Add oil, salt and (optionally) oregano.
Mix and pour the sauce on the pizza.
Cook the pizza in a (preferably convection) oven at 250 °C (≈ 480 °F) for 12 minutes, or until golden.
Take out of the oven and distribute the mozzarella on the pizza.
Cook again for 2 minutes to melt the mozzarella.
Take out of the oven, cut and enjoy!

      @@P.o.L Well, you certainly brought inspiration to make a pizza in the nearest future. By the way, your way of presenting information is extremely well structured and clear, be it the Pyrean history or a cooking recipe. By the way, if you're strongly into cooking, you could try to make videos of preparing Enderalean dishes (to look like those). Since most of them are similar to Skyrim, this will definitely appeal to a wider audience. By Malphas, this video is so good..! I just finished my second playthrough after some years and thought I would have found all the details. But you display even more details than I rigorously try to find. For example the nails in the puppet of the kid Rynéus or the fire under the statue of the angel. Awesome how deep you went into the game and story. And to the theory crafting: I came to the same conclusions about the aged man, independently to you. It just makes a lot of sense. The aged man is a prophet from the times before the black guardian who somehow managed to survive after the destruction of the numinos. That's the only explanation why the black guardian whitnesses this for the first time with us as a player. Also all the other little details like woman in the water, angel statues, wooden figures etc fit to this theory. But my questions still remain, why him and why us? Is it simply an unlikely eventuality come true? Or did the Vailed Woman wanted this to happen? Or both? Maybe we survived by coincidence this time and the Veiled Woman saw this and used the opportunity to send us to the black guardian to get to know the truth? Or did she make us survive? What's her role in everything? How does she decides who should die and who should live? It seems as if she tries to preserve the constant of the cycle. Make it that it happens every time. That's why she kills Calias father, so that she will become a part of the sun temple and helps us survive on our adventures. That's why she resurrects Jaspar because he helps us aswell to survive and find our goal. The goal to make the cycle happen. Is she a goddess that make happyness and meaning possible by introducing the counter forces to that? No good without evil, no light without darkness. No meaning and value of humanity without the cycle? A lot to think about. Also in an analogy to reality. This truly makes the game so great. Thanks for the awesome video man. I love your mystery, calm, thoughtful style and your focus on detail

      @P.o.L 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@DieBieneFranz I heartily agree on these points and questions, the Veiled Woman seems to keep things going, with little touches here and there to steer all in the right direction. I don't know yet but I am starting to have some ideas 😁 Also just lately I've become convinced that is actually Calia herself killing her father, her first uncontrolled burst of power. Definitely a lot to consider still. Thank you!!

      @@P.o.L Results so far, everyone that can get poisoned is getting destroyed. I -- Unknowingly regarding the opponents levels -- even did the Undercity arena questline when i was level 12, and they dropped insane axes, which 100% arent supposed to be for my level. (rip dagger dream) The most broken poison is paralysing poison and poison damage over time which stacks. I also have not a single issue regarding money, as my high alchemy skill makes it incredibly easy to generate money, pots, and xp at the alchemy vendor in ark. (I have currently 18k, one handed at 87 and alchemy at 81 I think). Also, making ambrosia pots is cheap and I can chug heal pots in emergencies. DOWNSIDES: Undead enemies beat me to mush because poison doesnt affect them, and i have a ton of problems with larger group fights. I dont think summons will help because summons will die fast, so i will have to level sneak and combine it with the invisibility skill to take out enemies one by one. Also it takes some prep work with all the poisons. So its not as exciting to play.

    • @P.o.L
      @P.o.L หลายเดือนก่อน

      @marcelgraf5520 paralysis poison is so powerful, just the few ones found around were enough to carry me through the arena. Great points, the money part is not to underestimate as one could save point on Rhetorics. Maybe some talents could help against the undead, like Shadowtongue Oil and igniting it. Or carrying a Staff of Fireballs for the real tricky situations. Maybe going Lycanthrope? It should bring alchemy to another level. But yes it is a lot of preparation work, not a build for a carefree player but if one likes to experiment. Thanks for sharing this!!

    To add one small remark, materials like wood, leather, fabrics, and other organic materials perish very quickly and are only rarely preserved in special cases. It’s highly unlikely for the wooden beams, the tent, and other perishable objects you see in the Pyrean ruins to survive all this time in a such well-preserved condition. They are either more recent additions dating back at most two centuries or time in Vyn passes differently from one place to another (maybe?). I remember there was a book mentioning how time passes differently between the continents and is not uniform. Vyn used to be one continent so this lack of uniformity is not dependent on continental division but perhaps it is more like a field throughout the planet with different fluctuations.

    • @P.o.L
      @P.o.L หลายเดือนก่อน

      Very good remark. I don't know if it's the effect of magic, or the non-uniform of time, or the tents and beams being more recent than expected, or even just something that was not considered by SureAI, although I don't believe this last one. It is very strange!

    The Aged Man may get the change he wants in the next cycle. In Nehrim you fulfill your role as Shadow God and kill the Lightborn, manipulated by Fate to do so. You are supposed to die, but instead you destroy these roles of Shadow God and Fate, meaning that in the next cycle the next group of immortal arcanists that become gods may rule forever, as there will be no Shadow God to kill them, nor will there be Fate to set someone against them. At the very lest the scenario for the next cycle will HAVE to change if it can still be completed at all because 2 main roles have been deleted. If the next Lightborn or whatever they will be called rule forever, then The High Ones may never reawaken as death of the lightborn is their wake up call. If they still awaken anyway, they would have to be way more crafty than usual to trigger to trigger the Cleansing. However I believe that such a change and a challenge from the living is exactly what the Hogh Ones want to happen, because whenever you talk with them they ridicule you for following the scenario as the others before you and say that they're disappointed by it. Even if you look at the endings of Enderal alone you will see that scenario is still not being followed completely, as you can escape the Cleansing, meaning there will be at least 2 surviving Fleshless in the next cycle, or you can sacrifice yourself to at least delay this cycle's end, perhaps stopping it completely. Without the cycle all High Ones will eventually die out as it is said theyre not immortal, they have a long, but limited lifespan.

    • @P.o.L

      Still playing Nehrim so I don't know, but I like your suggestion, and your point that the High Ones mock us for just doing the same as previous Prophets and not trying to think out of the box. The High Ones in Enderal are "immortal" though, they don't have a mortal body to kill. Do you mean that the High Ones in Nehrim are not immortal? I am curious but please avoid spoilers because I did not finish the game yet 😜

    • @FerunaLutelou
      @FerunaLutelou หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@P.o.L High Ones don't have a physical body, but they're supposedly not immortal like the Fleshless. It's not completely confirmed (as a lot of things about the High Ones are left pretty vague), but supposedly the High Ones do not live forever, they just live for a very long time. One of the main events by the end of the cycle is the search for Numinos, an object filled with the essence of a high one (word of the dead). This once again shows that the High Ones either can be killed, sealed, or they simply die eventually after some time. Besides, the High Ones are an amalgamation of the whole civilisation, but even without a body they should still be vulnerable to Psionic magic. Perhaps the beacon simply creates a very powerful blast of Psionic magic that when directed via a Numinos will destroy the High Ones instead of humanity. I also have another theory that would kinda support these ideas in a way: I think the Cycle is NOT natural at all and the first High One was born from a powerful Psionic spell or ritual gone wrong. Perhaps the first civilisation advanced so much they tried to play God, or perhaps it was done by one of the seven immortal arcanists at the time, or maybe after the death of the seven arcanists one of the nations tried to create a superweapon to defeat the others and it backfired (this one is the most likely scenario imo). If we ask the good old "chicken or the egg" question here it should be obvious that High Ones simply couldn't exist before the beacon was lit for the first time so there had to be the first iteration to start it all. There is also the issue of the 4 Fleshless having specific roles. I think that originally these were the 4 people who were to blame for what happened. This would explain even better the mockery by the High Ones, as these 4 always repeat the exact same mistakes all because of their Egos.

    • @P.o.L
      @P.o.L หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FerunaLutelou I also think that the Cycle is not natural and there was a time without it, maybe the result of an experiment, a weapon, maybe an accident or on purpose. And that the first High One was born from that, and the Cycle began. I do not see how would the High Ones die of old age, but I do agree they might be susceptible to Psionics or Entropy. And your suggestion that we may be repeating scenes from that time and that the Fleshless are repeating figures based on the people who caused the Cycle in the first place is very intriguing!! This will definitely keep me thinking, thanks!

    I loved the Brotherhood of Kor quest so much and it breaks my heart that SureAI didn't have time to finish developing the questline. To me the story behind it seems a bit Lovecraftian, like if Jim Jones met a Great Old One. It seems like it ticks all the boxes for this mashup - there's an otherworldly being that's commanding and omniscient, a small cult following, a newly-formed settlement that happens to be right above an ancient submerged temple. Or, what if the temple was always there and it's the surrounding ruins that used to be positioned on the land above it, although they do seem to be designed in the same architectural style. Either way, it's very fascinating, I really really wish that we got to see the full story! Also in reference to Lovecraft's works, Kadath is mentioned in Our Mark on this World as being a "Golden City" of eternal bliss which 'she' (the Veiled woman?) smote in order to create The Cycle, as she realised that man was not made for eternal bliss, and thus she created suffering, hatred and other negative emotions. The short story by Lovecraft himself, "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath" shares the name of a place which the protagonist only sees in his dreams, it's majestic and tantalizing and he becomes obsessed with leaving the physical world (in sleep) so he can find this dream city of Kadath. I'll avoid spoiling the ending here, but it provides food for thought. So it seems to me there are definitely shared themes between the writings of Lovecraft and some of the stories told in Enderal.

    • @P.o.L
      @P.o.L หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are definitely a lot of Lovecraft references in Enderal, Kadath, dreams, unfathomable horrors that freeze the mind, ancient civilizations and mysteries. The Kor questline manages to have a bit of all the typical Lovecraftian elements, ohh I so wish we would have seen all of that, and many other cut questlines. Thalgard also immensely fascinates me in a similar way.

      I think there's a lot more left to unpack and you're very good at it too, so it'd definitely be fun to watch. Maybe you could make separate standalone videos dedicated to each of the quests. I especially like how much attention you placed on examining the architecture, as it's so easily overlooked. I personally didn't notice any patterns on my first playthrough - just 'oh, these are Dwemer ruin assets and those are Nordic barrows'.

I've so much liked this investigation, it really made me feel as an archaeologist as I was looking at statues and walls to understand a lost civilization. Hints at unnameable horrors just for the sake of it, but scratching the surface reveals so much depth 🤯

    • @P.o.L
      @P.o.L หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!! Summarizing mystery #1, Gajus has specific memories of what we see happening to Calia, details only we know. It means he has the same memories, he met a version of Calia in his Cycle. My theory is the Woman in the Water is still alive because of the power of the Black Stone inside her, so Gajus fled the Cleansing of his Cycle together with her, and she ended up in the water coffin so her body would be preserved. Because Black Stone apart, she still ages (she grew up from the time of resurrection). Hope this clarifies 😁

      @@P.o.L Thanks for explaining, that's what I thought too. I only asked because the way you talked about it made it sound a bit like you meant the Woman in the water is literally Calia (not just Gajus' version of), but I probably wasn't paying enough attention! I like this theory the most, that when people call it the Cycle, they mean the exact same people/archetypes, experiences and events repeating themselves, e.g. there is always a Calia, there is always a Jespar, there is always a Prophet, the Cleansing always begins and brings them together, and so on - kind of like Bioshock Infinite - constants and variables! An example for the variables in Enderal being how the Prophet decides to conclude the cycle, or in gameplay terms - which ending you pick. Very fascinating game, and I appreciate your videos exploring the lore!

      Ahhh, I understand the question better now, thanks for the reply! I thought maybe you didn't notice the mysteries before this 😅 Well written and I totally agree, there are constants and variables, repeating patterns of events and characters more than the events and characters themselves. And with our choices we add that variation, each player experiences a parallel version of the same events, infinite realities in the sea of eventualities, and it works so good in the form of a videogame! It is so meta without even trying to be.

    My 2 cents on the veiled woman was always that the veiled woman stands for / or represents the creators of the game itself. They say the veiled woman stands over everything even over the circle and the high ones. She is there so that all things can play out as they have to be... its another "meta stage" for me. The reason why the people look so evil (at least in the early game) is the disposition system in Oblivion. They look angry, neutral or friendly, based upon how much they like the PC. The disposition is influenced by a skill and your clothing / inventory, and both are very poor at the beginning. I remember how awesome I found this feature back in 2005, when the last TES game, Morrowind, had very static faces only with up/down movement of the jaw. But now it looks very crude and comical. The lockpicking minigame is also skill based, with higher skill it's easier to do and the engine is more forgiving. Getting the hang of it helps, but that's not the only reason why it's very hard at first and a lot easier later.

I'm currently watching a Let's Play with the English mod and the AI voices/translation does a good job, sometimes a little bit odd translation but considering that the German lines and vocabulary used are a little bit "old German" it's not easily translated. There is one scene that I would absolutely recommend watching in German bc the characters are reciting a German poet/his poem and it will most definitely not have the same effect in English than it has in German, especially with the scene where it's happening and with what is happening.

There are so many surprises and little details, hints that you find and think "interesting" and then you visit another place and it connects with that and you are like "what?!". But even just walking around, the landscape they created is breathtaking. Thanks I'll keep it in mind and check the German part for that!!
