It'd be quite nice to have it. I've been able to simulate it by loading a multichip module of YM2608+YM2610+PCE. There are some missing features and channels if you do it that way, tho, so I prefer MML2VGM. Not sure how you could implement YM2609 into Furnace as it is considering MML2VGM supports stuff like custom FM waveforms and custom FM algorithms, which might be hard to implement in a GUI.
@@spoonybard13 I already have an emulator ported from C# code (which is from mml2vgmIDE). I don't know if it actually produces any audio, though. The custom waveforms for FM operators will be wavetables, although I would need to lift the height and length limit for wavetables in Furnace. Custom FM algorithms can also be done. ESFM is in Furnace and it features semi-custom algorithms, I would probably just make a modulation matrix. It would require some thought for how to bring it into macros, though. Also your visualizer seems to be a bit wrong regarding ADPCM channels. From kuma's docs and actual code chip has 6 rhythm channels, 6 ADPCM-A and 3 ADPCM-B channels, though the visualizer shows only 3 ADPCM-A channels
