This Tier 1 Event Lasts from 2024 May 10th - May 13th and features double Renown and Double Crests boosts in all Tier 1 Zones!
Return of Reckoning is a private server for Warhammer Online to keep this fantastic and unique MMORPG alive and offer content for Warhammer Fantasy fans all over the world!

I love the hell out of this game. I completely understand what happened to it. It launched in the same windows as Age of Conan, World of Warcraft WoTLK, and a bunch of other MMORPGS. It was a helluva time to be alive back then. I hated to see this game go!
Still have my box with the game in it. Was sad my PC handled the game so bad when it came out so never did get to try it much :)

I just started my download, im excited to play again. Haven't touched the game since 2011
lol if I had only waited a few weeks. Started up again about a month ago and now most of my characters are out of t1 and into that dreaded 20-39 range. It would be nice to have a mid tier dungeon after sewers/scalleum and before Gunbad. That 20-39 range is brutal.

why does the footage look so smothe? mine looks okay but lags and stutters whenever i enter a zone during RvR and freezes for a few seconds whenever i hit a new lvl?

I enjoyed trying out RoR a couple years ago. But man oh MAN was the community toxic AF. The people who have essentially never stopped playing this game from retail to this. Have zero chill and are total assholes to those who haven't always played this game. I REALLY enjoyed the old Tier 1 focused events. As that tier being so limited in functionality, build availability, and gear access. Along with very simple RvR. It was chaotic and plain fun. Once you got out of that. You absolutely had to have a guild and just KNOW everything. Or people raged out and/or blacklisted you. At least that was my experience back then.
Maybe I'll see how much easier the install is and check out the game and changes made over the last couple years. Maybe see how toxic the community is or isn't now.

Hmm wtf this game still exists? I thought it closed down back in the day. Hopped in at launch and played for some time.

Please remove t2/3/4 merge , maybe tier 2/3 merge only the gap scaling for tier 2 to a full geared tier 4 is ridiculous you dont stand a chance regardless of the bolster and trying to catch up is Impossible

I played this for a long time until I was told that I have to change my Block Orc named Left Bollock to something else, and not to complain and just go with it.
PC people came for reckoning a long time ago, in a game of war.
I would have thought his name would be in character, like my other characters Snotlick, shammy and Snotflick, squig herder.
Since then I only play single player games.
A shame.

This is all great, of course, but it won’t be possible to retain potential newcomers for long. How many times have you already tried, invited all sorts of streamers and what was the result?
People don't want to participate in zerg, they quickly realize that it's not interesting content.

@@ReturnofReckoningWAR Premade s are always put up against PUGs especially in the weekend warfront. You need to talk to your players. You will be surprised.
