Yes and still using it! I've used it on over slot stripers and porgies. It's a keeper no problems. I just changed my lines to fit the fishing situation. Check out my last video on porgies and my two Cinco De Mayo on stripers
@@wormway_69 oh I'm with you on that ...I run 3 spinning setups with battalion II 12ft rods and 80lb braid for surf fishing sharks in the spring. I have the regular Squall II 15sd on the battalion II 11ft casting rod.

Mine just got here casted it in the ally behind my house it was very smooth so far very happy
I'm starting off with 30lbs mono it's my first casting special every I normally use spinning reels no birds yet
