My favorite eye anti aging tip is simply to wear sunglasses outside, and a hat if you're in direct sunlight. My eyes are extremely sensitive to sunlight so I've been diligent with my sunglasses since i was a child. Now I'm 40, and no one can tell. Yes, there are other factors that give me a youthful appearance, but I have very little creasing around my eyes and no visible sun damage there either.

Even at 58 people were saying "wow you don't look like you're over 50" but the last couple of years I quickly lost the fat pad around the eyes and now they are full of fine lines underneath. Very discouraging to look in the mirror now. The rest of my face looks pretty good for 60 but the eyes KILL me. : (

Ok. I'm going to opt to replace my current eyecream (almost empty) with an eye cream that has vitamin C along with retinol. I was comparing eye creams, but I don't want to dump the retinol in my eye cream to go for the Three Ships vitamin c & caffeine options. My greatest concern is the aging and not the dark circles or puffiness. My skin care container is SO full now and I really need to figure out what to keep that makes a difference and what to not buy!

The older you are, the less everything works, gravity wins over all cool creams, massages, etc. I remember back in my thirties cold eye masks would do the trick. Now, in my forties, I've tried guasha, massages, creams, you name it, and my eye bags are just there laughing at me.
That would be interesting because a lot of derms don't necessarily use toners unless they are the exfoliating kind. Though they might cover them when they talk about k-beauty.

Some derms recommend mineral sunscreen, kids sunscreen or a sunscreen stick or even a lip SPF balm. And some people can use chemical. It's all dependent on the person. Some sunscreens brands that have eye sunscreens are supergoop, eltamd, tizo, colorscience 3-in-1 eye, drmtlgy luminous eye, etc.
I use Elta MD UV restore tinted SPF 40 all over my face and around my eyes. I’ve used it for years and love it. I get it cheaper at a local aesthetics place. Some dermatology offices have deals on it too. A little goes a long way and will last you months.

Anyone with a suggestion I would greatly appreciate the help. I have stopped using sunscreen around my eyes and I don't want to.
You can play whack a mole with dark spots but be aware that there are more hiding under the layers of skin waiting to show up. Wearing sunscreen will help keep them at bay along with any treatment you may be doing.
Is hypochlorous acid ok for if I have allergic dermatitis? I've become allergic to cats and living with a cat even though I do my best to prevent it I periodically get eczema flare ups on my eyelids. To manage I apply a cream from Avène which really helps. Would love to know of hypochlorous acid could be beneficial or help prevent flare ups.

I too breakout in an allergic reaction from any & all vit c anything!! I have tried them all. ☺️💗
A lot of derms like vit c but there are other antioxidants that can be used from coq10, resveratrol, green tea, soy, or a combination of, etc.
Panthenol is a particularly nice antioxidant for the eye area.
