Dr. V, can you make a video about what is the best laser treatment or treatment for acanthosis nigracans on the neck and body? I have gotten my pcos/diabetes under control and have lost weight but it is still very prevalent.

I know you have to promote your products. But it would be nice to also add in other NAFE safe products that may do similar things as well for all the items you’ve listed. Especially for those that mainly get products in person in the US from a Target at least or Sephora at most.
if you look up her shorts and past videos, she did suggest products that are nafe safe and even budget friendly. That's how I started out!

For someone with small budget what are the must haves from her range ?
what I more so meant was within the videos where she has a topic and lists ingredients and then her product, it wouldn’t hurt to also list alternatives as opposed to having to scrub through past videos. But since you all are experts, maybe you could drop products she’s listed in the past?
I have been using the everyday skincare set since Dr V launched. My pores looked cleared out. I don't break out as much which was rare anyway cause that's how post menopause works on me. I may try other skincare, but at night, I reach for her toner, power serum and pep moisturizer. I will try the oil method now that she mentioned it.

0:12 finally Dr. v thanks for sharing this. We are different than korean skin. I realized this when in gym Chinese and korean gals were not smelling while we indians were smelling like crazy , i was using benzoyl peroxide so i was okay. But then one gal said to other thank goodness we dont smell, i did a little research and found they have a gene which doesn't make their sweat smell. So that means our facial skin is different too . They have very less hair . Korean and Chinese men has less hair on their legs than i have on my arms .

Me, who is an SEA American, and thought all skin that is not caucasian is skin of color? I’m so confused. But given that, you may be on to something Dr. V, because I’ve been subscribing to the Korean method and using Korean products 5+ years now to no avail. I just started using your hyperpigmentation kit about two months ago and keeping my fingers crossed.
Hello doctor when i was child then parents said u dont need any cleanser or moisturizer but as a parent i am now i think that my kids need cleanser they are 6 and 11 and both use ointment prescribed by the doctor as a eczema prone skin and susnscreen but washing their face only with water

Absolutely love your content, I finally invested in the daily range 2 months ago..... I'm seeing slow but steady progress and keeping faith that it will continue to work on my acne prone / scarred skin.
Couple of comments though:
With all the products I've purchased, I've spent a small fortune, each time I've got the free delivery but delivery still takes a good week to arrive. Real shame because during waiting I ran out of a couple of products so I had to wait and my skin missed out for a few days.
I was on Skin+Me for a year with little to no effect before I moved to the DrV Range, I wonder if you had considered offering a subscription model for your products? I hate having to remmeber have I ordered something in advance to make sure I don't run out and then have to wait for delivery or pay an extortionate amount for next day delivery. The products are pricey enough, can we not do something about the delivery costs?
The Collagen shots I had to stop taking, didn't see any affect but it made me feel so nauseated that I couldn't stomach it. Was a real shame considering how much I spent on this product. I really want to try the vegan gel shot but I just can't justify the cost.

💗sooo happy for the larger inzincable. Would it be possible to have a video that covers medication that causes photosensitivity, especially in areas with a high UV index (i.e Australia and South Africa). I've been on venlafaxine for 4 years, and I've never suffered from melasma until using the meds. I have it under control now, but I only realised a few weeks ago that venlafaxine causes photosensitivity
Yes, some antibiotics, Anti malarials and chemotherapy cause photo sensitivity x

Your sunscreens are definitely not for Indian summers! It initially gets absorbed but once I start sweating, the white cast on my face looks horrible and it feels like I have put on a ton of powder due to the prominent white granules. This experience horrified me, never buying again!
I found the same thing with Beautiful of Joceyn (k beauty) sun relief cream. Light going on, but 100 humidity in 30c weather, it ran off my face white! Embarrassing.
Can uou please recommend indian affordable brands. Really look forward to your advice on that 😊

My background is Korean and it really really pains me to say that NONE of the K-beauty products have ever worked for me. NONE. I have tried every single product and am poorer and angrier for it. If one thing worked for me, I would be singing praises from rooftops. I would even buy multiple bottles of the product to give as gifts to people. But no K-beauty product ever worked and I am so beyond disappointed. Frankly, I even feel betrayed!! Tbf, the whole concept of 'glass skin' pisses me off. It also pisses me off that people hear that I'm from Korea and wonder why I don't have that flawless glass skin.
Okay well this makes sense why Korean products (for glass skin) never worked for me but worked for my friends 😂
But doesn't the use of peptide also cause your moles to become darker or increase the number of freckles you have? I seen studies on that

Skin has texture and pores. How can it become glass skin?
I have been using your skincare for about 9 months. It seem like my skin feels dry with the routine and my darks spots haven’t faded like I thought they would. Any other advice? Am I doing something wrong?
Are you using the daily range? If you are near menopause add a facial oil on top x
9 months is too long without any changes. Maybe see a dermatologist

She recommended because its a good product, works as anti ageing products,but it will not help achieve glass skin
I think it’s about if you want to have the glass skin effect, like she said in the video it’s about get the glass skin benefits doesn’t mean it’s a bad product it’s about getting the best results for skin type, skin tone and skin condition etc.
I use their sunscreen and BHA and they are great for my skin. If it's working for you, just continue.

It’s taken me 3 years to control my acne and my skin now is very slowly evening out. Skin care and wanting to achieve glass skin has taught me that your skin doesn’t fix itself overnight and an immense amount of patience

I enjoy your channel and wish your products were in Sephora or Ulta because they don’t travel well from the UK to the US. Customs always open the package, opens the products and don’t seal them back properly. By the way, the pictures on this video were all of young white girls, it would be nice to have seen some WOC.

The title of the video is Glass Skin for Skin of Color. Perhaps a little misleading.
I had the worst… mean absolute worst hormonal acne. I mean I didn’t want to leave my house. Because of your channel, I’ve been watching since 2020 and I’ve been able to heal a good amount of it. I still have a ways to go but I definitely feel my confidence returning

I have tried almost everything available for my facial pigmentation and nothing worked for me, have been following your channel for a few years now and ordered the DrV Facial pigmentation kit in 2023 which of course cost a fortune. Was highly disappointed, tried it the first time, caused purging and reactions, stopped and tried again with the same results, further tried to use it less often by decreasing the frequency but the same purging and reactions on face. Finally gave up and the kit is lying as such in my cupboard. With the kind of claims Dr V had made for her products, the kit did not even fulfill 1% of it. I still believe in Dr V’s knowledge and the way she explains everything but too sad that her own brand could not support her claims and knowledge, what hurts most is that I belong to the skin of color family, and still was let down by a skin of color expert😢

Koreans naturally have that kind of skin, 😬🙏thats their genetics and also they eat a lot of sea food and god knows what else, indian food and indian genetics r different, and we have our own beauty beautiful eyes, good facial features ( some not all) its just my opinion

hi dr v i have every ingredient in my skin care routine that you mentioned in this video and i am seeing results pretty much , but i don't do double cleansing because in india we don't have good cleansing oils or other oil cleansers at affordable price but i do use salicylic acid cleanser from minimalist so can it be beneficial for me as an double cleanse? and i have oily acne prone skin , i use cerave moisturizing lotion as my moisturizer so i wnt to ask that if its comedogenic and acne safe ? i am 16 and my dermat reccommeded me tretinoin for my severe acne so is it ok for me ? ( i didn't have irritation from it at all and it worked wonders ) .
Heres my skin care routine;
day :
1. salicylic acid cleanser
2: hyalu gel ( indian pharmacy}
3: sebogel salicylic acid plus niacinemide
4: spf 50
night :
1. same cleanser
2: moisturizing lotion
2: tretinoin plus azelaic acid cream { dermat priscribed pharmacy cream }
3: moisturizing lotion

I’m 46 and everyone says I look 30. I’ve been using these product the day they came out. I’m in the sun all day everyday. I get pigmentation. But with the sunblock, I no longer get it. My skin is flawless

Been using your products over a year now and my skin does so much better with your products. I also love how they feel on my skin compared to others I've tried. And plus the fact that they work so well and are all fragrance free. The sunscreen stays on for hours, it's like glue. I did use Paula's choice but after I ran out I started to use your sunscreen again and realized just how much more my dark spots are fading. I'm addicted!
Sadly you’re SPF is tooooo greasy on the face, formula would be perfect if it was the same as your cera prep face cream

Number whatever she ended on is, you have to have some type of procedure. The way their cheekbones sits high up and face perfectly structured they’ve had surgical procedures nobody’s face is that evenly shaped and full. You have to have surgery that’s just common sense.

My face cannot tolerate niacinamide or mineral sunscreen. I don’t know why but it can’t. I use trentinoin as well as hydrocodone and when I’m outside in the sun even 10 minutes my face is looks sting red like I’m breaking out in a heat rash or something and it stay red until I get somewhere cool and start to cool down and I don’t have to be hot just outside in the sun and my face will instantly turn red with bumps.

Unfortunately, inzincable leaves a white cast. I have not been able to use up the bottle as a result. Doesn’t appear to be idle for deeper skin tones. I really wanted it to be perfect for me but I won’t be repurchasing.
