    Your videos on the benefits of vitamin C and retinol have been incredibly informative.
    Despite having sensitive skin and seborrheic dermatitis, I've noticed significant improvements in my skin.
    I now use CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol at night and CeraVe Vitamin C in the morning, along with two layers of sunscreen.
    To prevent oxidation, I store the Vitamin C serum in the fridge.
    Thank you, Dr. Maren Locke, for your valuable insights and guidance.

    I didn't even know about the benefits of vitC until I started watching you. I first tried Cerave on your recommendation and really saw a difference after a while. Then I tried Vichy, which was good but kind of difficult to work with because it's so runny and followed that with The Ordinary, which wasn't good at all - irritating with an odd grainy texture. So I'm back to CeraVe for good! Even better, I never pay full price between sales, coupons & loyalty points.

    Hi friends-I was hesitant w/ L ascorbic as I am dry/sensitive but had no irritation. Found skin gets alkaline w/ age (low ph acidic products lower alkalinity) Prob why biome feels reset! Interested in THD since more stable but see mixed results from studies as to if it truly converts/what % to active vit c. Stratia makes a vit c with both THD and L ascorbic so trying next.

      @magpie9838 7 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@sue3327 they do say that it takes 6-8 weeks or longer for results to show because it takes that long for the skins cellular turnover 45-90 days to shed damaged layers. Vitamin C isn’t huge like retinol so it will take a bit to see improvement especially if you are using a lower % but non the less it’s working deep down so keep it up and remember the long term goal is the most important.

    Perfect timing!! I love Maelove but decided to try Mad Hippie on a whim while shopping at Ulta. Haven’t opened it yet. Does anyone have any thoughts on that brand of Vitamin C?

      @carriemeacham8811 I tried the Mad Hippie Vit C years ago, and saw no difference. No brightening, nothing. Not something I would ever buy again. Maelove Glow Maker is wonderful.

      I used it for years until my skin decided that it couldn’t handle the citrus in it. It did good things for my skin, but it took a long time to see results.

    I use VICHY VITAMIN C SERUM. However it's not very travel friendly. While traveling can I switch and use a more travel friendly VITAMIN C like No7 capsules? Or should I just stay with the same brand?

    Timeless gives me big red patches, very irritated. I had to throw it out. 😢 it's either too strong or has some ingredient that I'm allergic to. I'm fine with CeraVe but I don't see any great changes.

      If you have dark spots, they lighten and eventually go away. If you have lines, they diminish and appear less deep. Tightens skin in more youthful way. Based on my use.

      Your skin will also look brighter and overall more healthy. I don’t believe there is a product that removes dark spots completely, however these are suppose to lighten them
