It is so beautiful here in Southern Indiana and I became a Grandma for the fourth time Wednesday to a beautiful baby girl. So now I have three boys and a girl. So blessed.
Brooke, I am so happy to hear you finally got to see a rheumatologist. I have all of your symptoms and was originally treated for rheumatoid arthritis which did nothing. Once I was able to see the primary doctor in that practice he started treating me for fibromyalgia and it did wonders. I found out the other doctor didn’t believe fibromyalgia was real so I was being treated for something I didn’t have. The pain I have without meds is all over pain like a bad case of flu, joint pain and unable to sleep well……all of the time. With the right medication I am under control but still have flairups when I get stressed, work too hard or don’t get enough sleep. The pain never fully goes away but it gets tolerable after a while. I feel for you and hope this medication works for you. Love you and Jason and your relaxing and enjoyable videos. ❤
I live in East Tennessee and several years ago I worked for a guy that did DJ work. His business was on one of our downtown streets. He started a first Friday there and we blocked off the street. We had vendors and food trucks and I was in charge of getting live bands. It was so much fun. We had big crowds. He moved his business and I changed jobs. I really miss those days. Brooke, I sat up when you said that you are very healthy, you just hurt from head to toe. That has been the story of my life. I turned 65 last month and don’t remember ever having a single day of my life without pain. I have a “pain diagnosis “ that doesn’t really fit, but it’s all that I have. I spend my drs appointments with pain specialists. The entire plan is to just control my pain. Nothing more. I wouldn’t wish this life on anyone. I made peace with it many years ago. I live my life as best I can. I just happen to have a partner, pain, that accompanies me. Like any partner, pain, can sometimes alter my plans. I truly pray that you find a solution. I have fibromyagia, it Isa terrible thing to have but I also ha e chronic migraines (inherited) and it's just a daily struggle. God has given me the strength to deal with it and I'm double thankful for the good da.

I understand the pain from head to toe every day. I was shocked when years ago I asked my Mom and my sister about pain, and they said they had no pain. What?? How can that be? Why me?
@@dianekaib9488 i totally understand that. I grew up thinking that everyone must hurt. It wasn’t until I was about 13 years old that I began to realize that pain isn’t normal. It was then that the long and arduous hunt for an answer began. I was near death ( they had given me less than 3 months to - the pain was actually killing me) when I found a wonderful doctor who saved my life. Pain is no joke.
Well I got the last 10 minutes then watched the Full Live.. Sounds like another Day at Cog Hill Farms..LOL But Brooke got to see the doctor and I guess reaffirm it is Auto. But maybe he knows a better Meds that will work?? Praying.. Just a thought, take your ripped boot to a shoe repair to have the restitched. Also, apply moleskin to pad seams that hurt your foot. It is tough not having foot comfort.
My puppy chewed on the toe of both dress boots. I took them to the repair shop. He dipped the toes in “RINO LINER” stuff. When I wear them you can not tell at all.
Jason get you a custom pair made. They will last for years. Get a boot for all the walking you do around the farm. Tell them about the seam and they will move it to another spot

I was diagnosed with DISH at 50 yrs old and it took 5 yrs for them to diagnose it as I was not checked for it as wasn't old enough to have it,so never say never x

I was healthy and did everything! Always very active! I had a mild Heart Attack and had a stent put in my Heart! I woke up 3 hours later in Severe Burning and Numbness from Head to Toe! That was in August of 2021 and now I need help doing everything! I never took any of those evil Covid Vaccines! I've seen every kind of specialists there is and had so many test and not one of them know what it is! Something happened to me or they did something wrong! Only God in Heaven knows! I'm just looking for some kind of answers bc the doctors have basically given up on a diagnosis! My last MRI did show that I had Spinal Cord Compression on the Right Side of my Neck! I didn't have it before I went into the Hospitals in 2021... I had an MRI the week before I had my Mild Heart Attack so, I can prove that what ever happened to me in the Hospitals caused the problem! Have you thought about using a cobbler? Can get your used shoes/boots resoled and seemed. My husband had the same problem with finding a good fit just like you Jason. Food for thought
Brooke, I have the same exact symptoms and test results that you do for auto immune and it's been going on for 20 years. I have good days and bad. I can't take steroids and other drugs I've just decided don't work all that well. Epsom salt baths do about the most good of anything. So I just enjoy the good days and rest on the off days. Sometimes it goes away for weeks at a time. I have lots of poss diagnoisis listed but nothing confirmed. So don't get discouraged. Somtimes you never get a diagnosis but you just learn to live with what you have. You are so young that maybe it will just go away one day. Sometimes they do. Much love and hugs to you.
I have issues with my working/riding boots rubbing my legs, they hurt. I was advised to take them to a Shoe Smith/Cobbler. They fixed it. Also they made the leather more pliable.
Brooke if you researched it, you could be right. Years ago I stopped having my monthly in my early 30’s and the specialist kept telling there was no way I was going through menopause. They even gaff V e me medication to bring it on. It failed. Long story short she told me a year later I was right and they were wrong! Praying for you still! I love all of you.
Yep, had similar stuff happen to me too..sometimes we are just medical oddities...when I hear a doctor say nope, you are too young...it always puts me in mind of when scientists say such and such animal IS NOT in a certain area or state..but they ARE less than 20 miles away in another state..like they know where those state lines are 🙄. Seems Mrs. Brooke is only a couple years too young ..so maybe she is right after all ..
We raised chicken. We had an eclipse in the 60 s or 70s. Our chickens did roost and the roosters crowed. It was pretty funny but chickens operate on the sunshine.

Jason, I feel ya. I have flat wide feet with big toe box. Red Wing boots have a boot with steel toe and it’s like a hiking boot look. Super comfortable. I wore them for a transportation job, even though I was in the office, I hd to go in the yard when vendor showed up. Darn Tough socks are fantastic for boot wearing. REI has them. You don’t need to double up on socks😊
My husband was a steamfitter and was a magician in welding. He was supposed to teach me and in 19 years of marriage we never got to it. He sadly passed away.
You are not alone in that I have a few Autoimmune disorders which are managed but can be a challenge at times and other times I feel just fine but I’m about to be 65. I have that marker that you probably have that shows up in all my blood tests. I wish you well and that you’re Dr. helps you find that right balance. ❤

Yep My Husband too!! Every shoes rubs his feet. We do shoe shopping shopping till I am Blue in the face and Walk Out with Nothing. He got those Crocs and they wear out in a month and he is forever washing his feet emptying them out and cussing. LOL He get FREE Diabetes shoes for dress But around house shoes Nope! But like Jason them 10,000 + steps a day GOT to be Made!! he just turn 76
I work at a seafood restaurant. 3rd generation 46 years in business. Try the lobster roll. I like the cold version with mayo better than the hot version with butter.
I am in Raleigh, NC and we have Cousins Lobster food truck here, too. They have been so successful that they have opened 2 Cousins brick and mortar restaurants here! Yes--$25 for a "sandwich"/lobster roll seems like a lot--but it is worth it!
Have you looked into a carnivore diet? Jessica Sowards from Roots and Refuge farm and also Jason from Sow the Land have both helped their auto immune issues with trying carnivore diet. Basically, it’s like an elimination diet. You eat carnivore for a bit, then slowly add back in other foods to see how your body reacts. Just an idea. I’ve done a lot of research on it and it’s helped a lot of people. Might do some research and see if you think it might be for you. Hope you get to feeling better Brooke!
My late husband was a professional welder. Ornamental iron work, fences window guards,ect...his company was hired to build fencing for Hilk Hogan's house. I had to have emergency C section. Had to contact hubby to come. The hulk came out to find him. He ask my husband if he knew what we were having. He told him yes a boy. Hulk said you name him cause the mother will give him a wussy name.
Wish you well Brooke. So many things are involved with immune issues. Some just lump it all together and call it Fibromyalgia. One minute you may have a pain in a certain area of the body and just like that it's gone. Then another pops up somewhere else. Take care💜
I would try to get in with another dr. I have lupus symptoms except the butterfly rash and my first dr diagnosed me with lupus (blood work showed high ANA) put me on lupus meds along with prednisone and my inflammation markers went down (severely high) and my ANA went down on normal and as soon as that happened she dropped me. Afterwards I read reviews and found she was notorious for dropping patients. Find ally got in to see another dr and they put me back on lupus meds but they are saying I have degenerative joint disease all because of the rash. Please do in-depth research for yourself. If that’s what you think is causing your issues continue to advocate for yourself. Cause if you don’t no one else will. Sorry for the long post. Love y’all’s videos thank you for what y’all do

Brooke, please try not to drink anything out of stainless steel or metal lined containers, cups glasses…anything! Just give it a try for at least a week or more!!! Do your research on stainless and metal lined drinking containers!!! Metals can cause your mouth to become sore. It did my son’s!!
Hmmm. I am VERY sensitive to nickel. I’ll have to try avoiding metal cups just to see if it helps my hand eczema. I was going to suggest Brook avoid pecans. I heard once of a girl having to move where there are no pecan trees because of her sensitivity to them. She acquired it as an adult. They moved to the UK.
Jason, there is a product called moleskin, sticky on the back soft and smooth on the front, maybe you could put that over that seam in your boot, it’s not real thick. You can find in pharmacy department

Brooke, I have the same exact symptoms and test results that you do for auto immune and it's been going on for 20 years. I have good days and bad. I can't take steroids and other drugs I've just decided don't work all that well. Epsom salt baths do about the most good of anything. So I just enjoy the good days and rest on the off days. Sometimes it goes away for weeks at a time. I have lots of poss diagnoisis listed but nothing confirmed. So don't get discouraged. Somtimes you never get a diagnosis but you just learn to live with what you have. You are so young that maybe it will just go away one day. Sometimes they do. Much love and hugs to you.

I have issues with my working/riding boots rubbing my legs, they hurt. I was advised to take them to a Shoe Smith/Cobbler. They fixed it. Also they made the leather more pliable.
Brooke if you researched it, you could be right. Years ago I stopped having my monthly in my early 30’s and the specialist kept telling there was no way I was going through menopause. They even gaff V e me medication to bring it on. It failed. Long story short she told me a year later I was right and they were wrong! Praying for you still! I love all of you.
Yep, had similar stuff happen to me too..sometimes we are just medical oddities...when I hear a doctor say nope, you are too young...it always puts me in mind of when scientists say such and such animal IS NOT in a certain area or state..but they ARE less than 20 miles away in another state..like they know where those state lines are 🙄.
Seems Mrs. Brooke is only a couple years too young ..so maybe she is right after all ..

Jason, I feel ya. I have flat wide feet with big toe box. Red Wing boots have a boot with steel toe and it’s like a hiking boot look. Super comfortable. I wore them for a transportation job, even though I was in the office, I hd to go in the yard when vendor showed up. Darn Tough socks are fantastic for boot wearing. REI has them. You don’t need to double up on socks😊
My husband was a steamfitter and was a magician in welding. He was supposed to teach me and in 19 years of marriage we never got to it. He sadly passed away.

You are not alone in that I have a few Autoimmune disorders which are managed but can be a challenge at times and other times I feel just fine but I’m about to be 65. I have that marker that you probably have that shows up in all my blood tests. I wish you well and that you’re Dr. helps you find that right balance. ❤

I am in Raleigh, NC and we have Cousins Lobster food truck here, too. They have been so successful that they have opened 2 Cousins brick and mortar restaurants here! Yes--$25 for a "sandwich"/lobster roll seems like a lot--but it is worth it!
Have you looked into a carnivore diet? Jessica Sowards from Roots and Refuge farm and also Jason from Sow the Land have both helped their auto immune issues with trying carnivore diet. Basically, it’s like an elimination diet. You eat carnivore for a bit, then slowly add back in other foods to see how your body reacts. Just an idea. I’ve done a lot of research on it and it’s helped a lot of people. Might do some research and see if you think it might be for you. Hope you get to feeling better Brooke!

My late husband was a professional welder. Ornamental iron work, fences window guards,ect...his company was hired to build fencing for Hilk Hogan's house. I had to have emergency C section. Had to contact hubby to come. The hulk came out to find him. He ask my husband if he knew what we were having. He told him yes a boy. Hulk said you name him cause the mother will give him a wussy name.

I would try to get in with another dr. I have lupus symptoms except the butterfly rash and my first dr diagnosed me with lupus (blood work showed high ANA) put me on lupus meds along with prednisone and my inflammation markers went down (severely high) and my ANA went down on normal and as soon as that happened she dropped me. Afterwards I read reviews and found she was notorious for dropping patients. Find ally got in to see another dr and they put me back on lupus meds but they are saying I have degenerative joint disease all because of the rash. Please do in-depth research for yourself. If that’s what you think is causing your issues continue to advocate for yourself. Cause if you don’t no one else will. Sorry for the long post. Love y’all’s videos thank you for what y’all do

We were so deeply in love it was obvious to everyone and I see that same love between you two. We were relatively young , me 52 and him 56, when he passed with coronary heart disease. Brooke, please try not to drink anything out of stainless steel or metal lined containers, cups glasses…anything! Just give it a try for at least a week or more!!! Do your research on stainless and metal lined drinking containers!!! Metals can cause your mouth to become sore. It did my son’s!!
Hmmm. I am VERY sensitive to nickel. I’ll have to try avoiding metal cups just to see if it helps my hand eczema. I was going to suggest Brook avoid pecans. I heard once of a girl having to move where there are no pecan trees because of her sensitivity to them. She acquired it as an adult. They moved to the UK.
Jason, there is a product called moleskin, sticky on the back soft and smooth on the front, maybe you could put that over that seam in your boot, it’s not real thick. You can find in pharmacy department
