Jason you are right when you said that Peaches was looking good. I definitely can see where she has lost weight. She looks so much happier walking around without her tummy dragging. All of you are doing wonderful taking care of the farm and Your daughter is so sweet and beautiful plus so very smart. I know she doesn't want to be on camera anymore I understand but I loved when she was telling us all about the different chickens and all. I am a 69 year old lady and I ADMIRE HER VERY MUCH. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Hahahaha Jason the gossiping geese that’s funny. I’m shocked I guessed 2,000 pounds I can’t believe it. What a beautiful big boy and Mildred is so beautiful too. I love them. Thank you always. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻Granny B
It just amazes me how the Emus have their own secret language in the courting stages and when Goldie starting laying those beautiful eggs and Nugget slowly started to cover up the eggs to protect them, it is just the coolest thing on the planet. Nugget is the "GOAT", he's pretty awesome.
Putting food near the nest could attract predators close to it, like rats and raccoons. Not eating for the incubation period reduces the smell of the papa, and also prevents excessive fouling of the nest with his droppings. Scent camoflage as well as coloration camoflage are important to the safety of the nestlings.
Thanks for sharing Jan!! What you say makes sense!! I just can imagine how Jason and Brooke are frustrated with not feeding their Sheriff!! What an adventure we are now going on at the Cog Farm!!! They have a lot of adventures, but this is a pretty big adventure!!! Jan, I hope you are having a Great Day!!! 🤗❤️👍🙋🏻♀️
This makes so much sense. And, this is how these birds do their thing, so Nugget's body MUST be capable of doing it. To eat would be unnatural for him at this time. Hard for humans to watch tho.
BROOKE, may i suggest some thing ?? I watched the white goat trying to turn her head when she was on the stand and she had trouble doing it. Pull back the stand so the doe has room enough that her face isn't right up against the wall. When you go to massage her udder, be sure your hands are good and warm, the same when you wash their udders. Be sure the water and your hands are completely warm.
My does hated my husband because his hand were never warm and they faught him. Do in turn, he would be mean to them. I put a stop to that and did all the milking myself.
Holy flippin' MOLY! Mooo Daddy weighs 2,900 lbs?!?!?! Awesome! Topper is such a good guy. He gave you one kiss, Jason! Nugget is so sweet. The whole gang at Cog Hill Farm is just awesome!❤
Hey JASON and BROOKE 💜 thanks for an awesome video. Your property looks so beautiful everything is getting nice and GREEN. YOU BOTH TAKE SUCH GOOD CARE OF YOUR PROPERTY AND YOUR ANIMALS YOU ARE A BLESSING TO THE WORLD!!!😘
I remember when I was younger we went to a fair and seen a black and white cow that looks like Moody. He looked so big I think that they said he was the biggest cow. ❤
Jason you and Lester have the cleanest farms I've seen. When I see how they take care of the land then you know that their animal are well cared for. I love Brooke and you, I love how you two work together. Moo Man is a big boy but he's such a baby.
I see him everytime I pass by. From one farm to another I passed by and picked up some eggs even though I got plenty on my own farm. We got to support our local farmer .Moody is a awesome looking dude!!!
I looked up the tallest steer living today and it is Tommy the Ox and he is in Cheshire Mass. He is 6'1" from hoof to shoulder. He is going into the Guinness Book of World Recirds this year. Maybe you should measure Moody again to see where he stands. lol
According to TH-cam, Romeo is the world's tallest cow at 6'3" and is a rare survivor of the dairy industry. Romeo eats 100 lbs of hay every year and also likes to eat fruits and vegetables.
Tommy stands at 1.87m and is recognised by the Guinness World Records as the World's Tallest Living Steer. His appetite lives up to his size, consuming a whopping 13kg of dry grain, more than 34kg of hay and 150 litres of water per day.
I remember when Carl sat on the ostrich eggs and Jami and Lester were so worried about how he had lost weight and looked terrible - Jami cried even, but he became a proud papa and recovered will. Moody at 3,000 pounds - WOW.
Moody is huge.. Like 2800-3100pounds easy. He's a handsome steer for sure. Love watching your farm chores. It's so beautiful there. Thanks for sharing with us.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the world's largest bovine is Mount Katandin, a Holstein-Durham cross-breed owned by A.S. Rand of Maine, which weighs 5,000 lbs.
You knew Moody was big and he still surprised you! As for Nugget, it has to be so hard for you to have no interaction with him. He has always been right there by you wanting some lovin and now he doesn’t even raise his head when you are close by. Gonna be a long 7 weeks for you and him with no water or food!😳🤗💖
So look forward to your videos, you two are so good to your animals. Jason, you pet them when you don't even realize. Talking to us and automatically petting which ever one is in front of you! Lucky, lucky animals.
Wow! Big Daddy Moo is your new name! I was way under in my guess.2,500. I'm so proud of Nugget . He's going to be very busy 3 months from now! The farm is absolutely gorgeous, Jason. You continue to add plants of interest. What a beautiful tableau vivant, french for living picture. I The trees, shrubs, perennials, all of it is bursting forth with new life. Can't wait for the azaleas, Rhodes to bud out. Oh my, ya'll welcome us in to your lives and I thank you for that gift. ❤❤❤
Jason and Brooke From the bottom of my heart I must say how much I love your videos. It brings me so much joy seeing how much you both love all those animals on your farm. Thankyou for all you do caring for the animals.
I am so happy that Nugget is managing to cover all the eggs! They were so spread out I didn't think it would be possible to cover them. He is a fabulous, good boy. Moody is also a fabulous good boy BIG BOY! Watching the clouds moving very fast. Hope it's good weather on the way. Love from California❣
Wow, Moody is nearly 3000 pounds! A ton and a half. He is a really big, big boy. It's a good thing he is such a sweetheart even if he does have his off days when he doesn't want to be loved on. Jason, I know you and Nugget have a special bond, but don't worry. He will be ok, and maybe he will be a daddy if some of those eggs hatch.
Jason & Brooke, Moody's weight is amazing! But he's still our baby. I'm just astonished at his height as I am at his weight. Don't kniw your height, Jason, but when you're standing next to the MooMan, he.looks like he's nearly your height. Tell Us, pleas: how tall IS Mr Mooody? God bless the Cog Hill Family, all the Critters & the Cog Squad too!❤ Love you all@😅
Brooke, when applying the salve, try resting your other hand or your head on her body which may help to calm her. My uncles always milked the cows with their head rested against the cow. Also, closer to time, start using a bowl as you will when milking. Just get them used to it. They are doing so well staying back ready to go to the milk room and getting on the stand. Well done. ❤
I simply love Cog Hill - each and every one there. Nuggo is going to be just fine. Nature at its best. We know you love and care with all your heart and soul and both will tell you when and if any of your fur or feathered children need anything at all. It hasn’t failed you yet and with your love and amazing dedication it won’t now. Y’all are a blessing 🥰
I know I am off subject but... I am still really excited bout seeing the VW bus starting up. A bus like this was my first car way back in the seventies. Hopefully Mary Carl will eventually allow herself to be filmed with her bus. It's gonna be great.
3260 lb…oh my goodness! I have now read some comments…I had no idea I was that close….but I must confess I had in the past a cow-calf operation with 2000 animals….
Hello Brooke and Jason Thank you for showing us Nugget. Precious Nugget. Wow Moody 3000 pounds yes that is one big boy for sure! All the animals are looking really awesome. 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
Brooke I purchased the new soap at Simply Making It! I have been a regular customer of Laura’s for some time now. Love her soap, lip balms, and lotions. Thanks for letting me know about the new scents.❤️
I've only ordered the lip balm & need to get more, I love it. I ordered Amish soap & need to finish that before I order my soap. I can't wait to try it all tho.
I have an autoimmune disorder and I have dry patches that no matter what I used they always were itchy and flaky. I absolutely love the lotion stick. The patches are still there, but the itching is greatly diminished as is the flakiness. It’s worked like a charm for me.
Another beautiful day on Cog Hill Farm! I enjoyed this video so much. I love that you take us along with you & Brooke as you go about your business taking care of all the sweet animals! I’m really enjoying how you end your videos with the sights and sounds of the farm. It makes my heart smile!
Is Moody bigger or smaller than Moo at Jakes Homestead? Always wondered 🤔 ❤ Aww bless Nugget, he's such a big beautiful baby I will worry about him 😢❤❤
Morning everyone, Hope everyone is safe and no harm , from all that rain. Prayers for eveyone. No matter how much bigger Moody gets. He just an adorable baby❤❤
Moody is a handsome 2970 lb. boy!!! Mildred, if I remember correctly, is 1260 lb...? All your farm babies look so good because you are really attentive to them. Thanks for all your hard work! So happy to see that Brooke is using a Natural bag balm. 🐮🐐🐕

I was going to guess 3,000 pounds for Moody. I wasn’t that far off. OMG. What a baby boy! No matter how much he weighs, he’s still a baby! Love him!
I was thinking 3000 also
He's still a precious baby, indeed!❤
3200 for Moody love this family and channel. 😂
I was thinking 3000 too 😮
2083 lbs.
Moody is a Beautiful example of a well fed boy 😁
The phrase "you big ox" certainly applies to Moody! He is a gentle giant and has a beautiful home on your farm.
It just amazes me how the Emus have their own secret language in the courting stages and when Goldie starting laying those beautiful eggs and Nugget slowly started to cover up the eggs to protect them, it is just the coolest thing on the planet. Nugget is the "GOAT", he's pretty awesome.
I know why Peaches didn’t have worms. It’s all of that mineral oil! 😂😂😂😂😂
😂
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I can’t wait to see you walk him to his new pasture.
So proud of Nuggett

what a great point, thanks for sharing!
This makes so much sense. And, this is how these birds do their thing, so Nugget's body MUST be capable of doing it. To eat would be unnatural for him at this time. Hard for humans to watch tho.
I know Jason reads the comments, so I hope he does understand what you are saying.
Millions of years of evolution is not to be ignored.

I just sat down for a break and thought let’s check TH-cam. I can always count on Jason to provide interesting content for me to watch.
Moody is just a big baby boy growing up 3000 lbs WOW

My comments were copied from google by the way.Have a great day definitely look at the other giant bovines
Gosh Jason. I love that hair. And Biscuit is gorgeous. Goldie getting more n more friendly. That’s fantastic.
I remember when Carl sat on the ostrich eggs and Jami and Lester were so worried about how he had lost weight and looked terrible - Jami cried even, but he became a proud papa and recovered will. Moody at 3,000 pounds - WOW.
It really was alarming how Carl became so skinny! Nature is amazing. 😊
Yes I remember that. We were all worried about Carl. But he eventually gained the weight back.
Moody is huge.. Like 2800-3100pounds easy. He's a handsome steer for sure. Love watching your farm chores. It's so beautiful there. Thanks for sharing with us.

When the goat kicks and you let go the goat wins!
I know it’s nature for Nugget to sit if I’m sad he won’t eat I can’t imagine how your all feeling. Who knew Nugget was going to be a daddy.
