I appreciate your video because people need to know this. I have had about 5 of these injections. I barely need to use a cane. As well I am not hobbling around. The pain is gone. Being in Canada. It costs me $550. That is the downfall.
It’s far cheaper in the eastern world .. I would say atleast 200 Canadian dollars cheaper or even more depending on where you live this side of the world. But glad you are getting good relief and sharing your experience with the injection. It is definitely a game changer for arthritis management.

Just had my first injection of HA in both knees today. I was encouraged to get 2 more sessions. I am 31 years old and have medial degeneration after years of high impact college sports and weight lifting. Is it necessary to have more? After watching your video I am hopeful I will feel relief sooner than expected. I was told I wouldn’t feel a difference until after the 3rd injection. Just looking to get insight from other doctors! ☺️
Nowadays we have a single shot injection which gives prolonged relief.. there are other precautions to take along with the injection. Treatment of knee problems is usually multimodal. Thank you sir for this highly informative session please, I have pains on all my joints. Wrist, shoulders, ankle, knees, under my foot , elbow after every little activity. Can't walk or stand on a hard surface. I freeze all of this parts on a daily basis after Doctors can't seem to get the problem and solution i have taken all manner of drugs, supplement, tumeric, veggie nothing walked. I can't even hold my phone for long or type on my laptop for more than 5mins without tingling with pain. Pls, can this HC injection help me?
What you have is poly arthralgia... you need to see a rheumatologist. These injections may not help you!

Injections help before joint replacement of knees not after. Only other joint it can be given other than knee is shoulder.

If you have a mechanical problem like a Meniscal tear that needs to be addressed first and then go for HA .

I've had different doctors give me different advice about the 2 treatments.
Both are different
PRP is BIOLOGICAL therapy….The other is LUBRICATION. Biological therapy is harmless and both can be used together for better results!

Need to see your X-rays. The injection is for patients with long term knee pain and finding it difficult to do activities of daily living like climbing stairs , sitting down etc. I don’t think you need the injection.

My wife suffering from RA last 30 years.. Had TKR on right knee 11yrs back which is good till now but now left knee giving problem...She has taking rituximab after every 8/9 months which reduces RA Symptoms but left knee pain gives trouble...can benefit from hyaluronic injection ?

Any pain in the knees is an inflammation... and any inflammation produces Oedema (swelling)... once the inflammation goes then the swelling will also go!

No both are different.. one is straight into the joint and the other is through the gut. Bioavailability and bio absorption through gut is poor

The injection is a lubricant and does not replace cartilage. You may and can take another injection but protect your knees from heavy activity

2 questions sir. Are there any contra indications for getting repeated injections (like every 1or 2 years)? Secondly, can this be taken prophylactically in an obese young adult whose has no diagnosable form of OA but occasional knee pain (probably weight related) ?

I have pain in back of my knees they are rigid n stiff since this Friday I was injected with this hylaronic acid . I have been injected before but was perfectly ok but this time since last 3 days I am in pain n stiffness on back of my knees.
Means that the posterior capsule is tight and the arthritis is getting worse... You may need stretches to help with the pain. Need to see your X-rays to comment further .
Thank you so much. Pain disappeared after 38 hours . My doctor said as I did rest after the the injection this was a small side effect. Don’t have X-ray as they did magnetic Resonance done. There s little degeneration.

We can try a combination of PRP and Hyaluronic acid to help with the pain and avoid surgery .. however will need to see the X-rays before deciding.
