Mad Dog was a 25-year Covert CIA Nuclear Spy who carried out missions around the world and became one of the agency’s most decorated senior officers. This man is a master hypnotist. He was weaving trigger words into what he was saying, varying his tone and his annunciation into rhythms, using pattern interupts in the form of odd phrasing and out-of-place sub verbal communication. On top of that he used inclusive language to convey commands and would switch from telling you a story to making you the participant in it to giving straight up commands as “group actions”. So much so that your speech was becoming slow and you could see it was taking time for your thoughts to go together after he initiated an “attack”.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he had planted some suggestions to you beforehand and left you with dormant commands as well.

I’ve been told I am not a person who is “suggestible”. I was watching this and had a hard time keeping my eyes open when he said certain things. I felt like I had on the gas at the dentist office. Never felt anything like it before. And towards the end of the podcast, he wasn’t doing the same thing with his voice and words as he did in the beginning. I think it’s very natural for him, but I also think he can dial it in more.

I'm an old lady. I found out last year from a therapist that my mother was a sociopath. She was brilliant and composed in public. At home she was an out of control monster. People had no clue. One neighbor did catch on to her. She was loved and beloved. At her funeral hundreds upon hundreds of people came. They had no clue of her horrific crimes. It is very odd but I was attracted to people just like her including a husband that did work for the CIA or so he said.

Sorry to hear that. I’m 37 and just learned about psychopathy, sociopathy, narcissism, and all the cluster B personality disorders. Found out my whole family (mother, siblings, etc) are all terribly abusive people who have personality disorders like narcissism and sociopathy. I’ve also sought out partners with the exact same traits as well, and have been abused my entire life by family, friends, and romantic partners. Didn’t even know I was being abused until I learned about this stuff recently. Very odd to see sociopathy and narcissism being celebrated in this very sick society we now live in, like as is being celebrated on this podcast episode. If your mother really was one, then you’ve been through a lot to be sure. I know that without even knowing you. Sorry to hear that. Crazy world we live in… literally, lol.

In Iraq I was stationed at F.O.B. Camp Taji, this is where the so called 'Chemical Ali' performed at least some of his work. The facility was abandoned and had fallen into disrepair it had nearly collapsed while I was there in 2008. It was very disturbing, almost eerie thinking about the atrocities committed inside that facility. In futility prayed for those tortured souls.

I suffer from the same thing this guy does. I'm able to befriend some really shitty people and see the good in them and focus on that, which allows me to get close to them when others won't. The problem for me is, I have no actual end goal, I'm simply interacting with the people I randomly meet, so it's all kind of pointless to do. They usually carry a lot of baggage, no, always carry a lot of baggage. And it will affect my life negatively over time, and then I stop talking to them. I do feel like I could use that ability to befriend weirdos and dangerous people for good, but I'm a former criminal, so there's really no future for me in doing anything that would help anyone, unlike this guy, who has been able to put that to use

Ironically, Jim Lawler's assessment of a CIA spy recruiter lines up perfectly with many great salesperson. I work in sales and use similar techniques to gain the trust and verify my intended sales "target". I find out, by listening, what makes a Client tick, then I use that knowledge to gain their trust. A steady gaze and nodding head can close many great deals. Also, I think many great salespeople have sociopathic tendencies. It is pure genius to recognize it and use it to a mutual advantage. Many of my clients return to me, because they like being a part of my team.

    • @Mr-E.
      @Mr-E. ปีที่แล้ว +1

I just wrote a comment about how I have met a few sales people who talked like him, and the moment they said my name with that voice/tone, I instantly didn't trust them. At some point, people in sales learned that saying someone's name repeatedly makes them connect and bond better, but it actually does the opposite for me. There was an African tribe I learned about where calling each other by their actual name was like trying to gain "power" over them and it was worthy of fighting. As silly as that might sound to our cultures, I get it. The power move of saying , "Let's take a look at that car Janer2703, I think you'll like it" "You know what Janer2703, I have been working here 20 years now and..." "Well I'll tell you what I can do for you Janer2703". They think they are being slick, but it comes off very insincere. Dr. Andrew Huberman the neurobiologist with the podcast on here says that when people really listen, they don't make eye contact for maximum focus, so I have always found those who look at me when they speak, and look away when I speak are the most receptive to trying to solve my issue, best at brainstorming with me or internalizing and empathizing. All of this is the total opposite of what people assume is the best way to connect, but this was just how I always felt viscerally about my interactions.

Mr. Julian Dorey. I owe you an apology. And I want to say I apologise. I'm sorry that I have made some s****y comments about you and your channel. please believe me when I say it's not about you. it's my problem. sometimes I drink too much. and after a point I sometimes turn into a mean angry person. And I regret it the next day. so once again I am sorry. And I apologise. so when you get some crapp in the comments, just remember that person could just be like me. just angry at themselves and lashing out at whatever is in front of them. I can't remember where I saw it but it was two podcasters one interviewing the other. And at some point the more experienced one laughed and said never read the comments... Keep doing your thing and you will be successful. Nick

I must admit, my "poetry piece" was a bit rushed & convoluted in my mind, & therefore not even remotely close to my best works I've written but I will have a better one next interview of yours while covering & referencing whatever is spoken of in your video.
But anyway, You not only continuously raise the bar, but you encapsulate the core values of an amazing interviewer as the epitome of what true journalistic abilities consist of, which is commendable, admirable, & respectable in & of itself, but in an era where virtually everyone has an interview-type platform, the true talent of such has been watered down so much that it only serves to elevate you even higher as a top-tier level TH-camr.

I have always been like this man, most people aren't really interested in people only what they can get out of them or use them for. I have always been a person that has attracted people that have needed help or even someone to listen to because I naturally care, when I was younger it would be for ridiculous levels. Now I can identify when a person is basically beyond help or are wasting my time or using me. Unfortunately it's seems to be often those closest to you that try & abuse your nature but they are stupid enough to think you aren't aware of what they are doing. 😂

Yes, I have been a "good listener" at times in my life but for a different reason. In your case, you listened because you cared. In my case, I listened because I am autism spectrum and was trying to deduce proper human behavior so I could more effectively emulate it (I am a high-functioning autism spectrum person and can passive rather normal). In the case of the CIA people, it is what the goal and objective to protect national interests, but yes people in general do really like it when you are intently listening to what they say. They mistake it for closeness or carrying even if it is not.

Committing crimes and or turning a blind eye for intelligence and national security is a good argument and with Andrew really opened my eyes to the federal government making decisions to preserve itself. I still think it’s wrong, that transparency and doing the “right thing” is still the route to go, getting this intelligence from the worst of humanity using them, then taking them down and protecting people from the worst of mankind is the way to go

@Intro when I was about 14 or 15 years old during the beginning of the AOL days, in an online forum, there was a Marine who said our troops were hit by Sarin gas during Desert Storm/ Desert Shield. He said it was specifically covered up during President Clinton's first term because Clinton "didn't want to fight the Bush's war." He knew if Americans were told that our troops were DELIBERATELY hit by WMD's in the form of Chemical Weapons then there would be a lot of public pressure to continue. Piecing together from other sources I've determined the sarin gas exposure would be dubbed "gulf war syndrome."

Once again, it's the master, a genius of outliers,
The masses are average, like generic HotWheels at best while Julian's interview skills tower above like a Red Wagon Radio Flyer,
Leagues above even TH-cam's very best,
An incredibly vast array of guests, from credit card scammers to military lifers,
    No substitute for the best,
the man, the myth, the legend, the Most Incredible TH-cam channel ever, TRENDIFIER

His calm, measured demeanor reminds me of both the renowned jiu jitsu coach, John Danaher and Dennis Rader, the BTK killer lol
Very methodical. Seems like a good guy though.

He seems like a good guy, so not a sociopath.
      More of a psychopath.
Psychopaths are born, sociopaths are made.
      Nature vs. Nurture.
Most psychopaths aren’t evil. Occupations that require a steady resolve like airline pilots and cardiac surgeons score high in psychopathy but it doesn’t mean they’re evil.
Sociopathy is when a person is born with a normal brain but because of a harsh environment, they grow up learning how to lie, cheat & steal in order to survive. It’s more like they’ve learned how to dissociate at will. They adapt a more evil personality because of it.
There’s a famous neuroscientist who specializes in brain imaging and found out accidentally that he’s a psychopath when he did a brain scan on himself.
Psychopaths can become dangerous if they grow up in the wrong surroundings but if given the proper love & nurturing, they’ll most likely end up as a scientists, surgeons, special forces in the military, etc.

PR Channel for an agency that hires Sociopaths and Narcissists. They love to paint themselves as heroes of their stories but these are people who can lie, cheat, steal, abuse their families, sex addicts, pedophiles, and more. These are people who love power and control by any means necessary. Don't believe the hype.
