Hey Team House producer/audio guy: create a master buss fader in your DAW and strap a compressor or limiter on it and level the gain to keep these valleys and peaks closer together. It goes from barely being able to hear one person speak to everyone laughing loud as hell. There is way too much dynamic range for a 3 person conversation. Respectfully
omg this
Please! I might stop listening if this doesn't get fixed

That's good stuff right there pointed out a problem and gave them the solution salute to you buddy I like that
Ahh a fellow audio engineer. This also bugs me 😂
Great Philippines story with the medic saving that guy’s life. Really hits home how individual guys make a difference in the whole countries relationship.
Wonder if he ever hiked Huntington Ravine as a kid. My first hiking experience ever was climbing Huntington Ravine on Mt Washington when I was 13, having no idea how steep it was. My dad was former 75th Ranger regiment. Halfway up I wanted to quit and he said- “we can turn back if you want but just remember going back down at this point will be harder than finishing”. I’m glad I finished. We took Tuckermans down. It’s a life lesson that has forever stayed with me.
But we used to camp on Mt Washington overnight all the time and climb in the morning. I still can’t believe ppl ski down that mountain.
Im sad The Team House isnt as big as it should be, you guys have some of the most interesting guests and wild stories. I really feel like ive learned alot from this channel. Thanks guys!

1st group baby let’s go. Also I worked with Orange a few times. Always had to sign NDAs, but was thoroughly impressed by those dudes.
This might be a dumb question, but what did they do, and what were they like? Would understand if you gave a super vague answer or none at all lol.

Were a lot of the TFO guys former 18-series dudes or was their unit makeup pretty varied?
@@themeanestturtleI've heard that a lot of TFO guys were prior SF due to their language knowledge that's developed in the Q-course, they accept qualified candidates from all branches though.
@@MostlyHarmless. yes, they have A lot of SF dudes and yes again because of their language skills they start to learn at the q course and then develop it when they get a team. they recruit from the whole service just like Delta and RRC.that way u have a broader knowledge base. i wasnt a fan of tfo when i was in but ive heard theyve improved dramatically. i always thought they were a bunch of lazy yahoos that couldnt make it in Delta but i guess that has changed. lol
My grandfather was also a Navigator on a Lancaster for the RCAF. Amazing history and story, thanks for sharing.

Proud 2020 Norwich Corps of Cadets Grad here, Norwich Forever! Essayons!

The best
Good talk, Brothers. Small world; I too know Shane Bailey, he was my Team Sergeant on ODA 515, (A-Troop, A-1/5). He went off to Norwich about the time I retired. Great American, not surprised he made an impression on you. DOL
I went to The Citadel, I like his description of Norwich. Attrition is our mission!
When I was there, the motto was Hazing is Amazing!
What do VMI cadets and Citadel cadets have in common? They both applied to VMI.
Went to El Cid myself and still amazed at how it prides itself on the massive failure of attrition. Attended well prior to the days of "The Lords of Discipline," but it was bang on.
I've been to the Manila US Cemetery. It's a humbling place to go and the Filipinos take very good care of it. But almost nobody goes. Not even on weekends. It's weird to be there entirely by yourself sitting in the memorial and looking out over the crosses with skyscrapers in the background. I kept wondering if the people working in those buildings ever wondered what that cemetery was in the distance. The only other two living souls in the cemetery was the gate guard and a landscaper. The guard seemed to take his job very seriously and understood the gravity of the place he was guarding.
I hope for his service especially For Taking out Sulimanie that Mr Dave Fielding, he gets additional security for the rest of his life. This was truly a target worthy of our attention. And this brave American Deserves the Protection for the rest of his life!
Technically it was a war crime as he was operating in diplomatic capacity to negotiate to a saudi peace deal and is part of the reason of what’s going on in yemen and was advised against by all senior military leadership…
@@Victor-i8j 😂 don’t pretend solemeni wasn’t commiting war crimes regularly .
Gotta love the New England / Massachusetts accent. Can pick it out anywhere.
I just gotta put my 2 cents in. A tensionpneumothorax is when air from the affected lung goes over and starts affecting the other lung and increases intrathoracic pressure which decreases cardiac output and causes the jugular veins to become enlarged. You have to do a needle chest decompression on the affected side either anteriorly at 2nd - 3rd intracoastal space (area between the ribs) or laterally at the 5th - 6th space. It's better to do it laterally because that is where the chest tube will go. And with the IO ( intraosseous) you aspirate the the bone marrow to confirm placement and the lidocaine (when not used as an anti-arrhythmic) is used to numb the IO because it hurts like a mother f*cker when you push anything through the IO because of the pressure receptors in the bone. Unless they are unconscious then you don't need the lidocaine unless you are using it as an anti-arrhythmic.
Thank you, I now have this huge crush on your awesome guest and his life stories.
Excellent guest.
Great communicator.

I watched our Major (and First Sgt) throw us all under the bus for a couple "challenge coins" for their expanding collection. Who knew you train and equip and sacrifice to defeat an outside enemy, but are not trained with tools to deal with the betrayal from behind and above. Thank god for this book and others like it!
One thing I found to replace the missing "brotherhood" during transition to civilian life was Construction Work. Carpenter's Union (at age 40) Electrical, Ironworkers, etc. It helps to have a group of brothers who suffer good hard work as a team swinging a hammer together, while your mind transitions to "building" and "creating" things.
I also stared at my pistol one time when I came home and found my wife naked with my my (so called)"real" brother (Jody MF pos). One of my military "brothers" saved and redirected me.

The Philippine military has some of the best jungle warriors (Scout Rangers & Philippine SF). With very limited budget for tech, they retained those old school but still very effective fieldcraft. They rang up alongside the Gurkhas for jungle skills.
U.S. SF = Green Berets made up most of MACVSOG when talking Jungle Warfare. Lookup Dick Meadows, Jerry Mad Dog Shriver, and a host of others.

GSP. Wouldn't say more secretive, just different. Used to be advertised on the list of Special Duty assignments for Army career progression, literally on the same sheet as Drill Sergeant, Recruiter, etc. IYKYK
Great skills program, correct?
@@MostlyHarmless. Yeah but it is not a unit. It's a program that removes an individual from big army's HRC database and places you on the DASR. This is done so that you can be assigned to SAPs and stay there as long as you like without concerns of coming down on orders. Being on the DASR means that you're in the army without being in the army.
@@MostlyHarmless. The Great Skill Program is a non-traditional career program managed by the Department of the Army (DA) G-2. Program members provide support to complex operations for the US Army, DOD, and national agencies with fields in Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Counterintelligence (CI) and Technical Intelligence.
@ac101able what's the DASR?
@@HuggybearActual the DASR is a data base of army personnel who conduct classified operations and are not registered with the Human Resource Command. So they are in the army but not really in the army.

This was an OK episode but I don’t understand how this one got over 160,000 views and Adam gamal only about 60,000. Which in my opinion was a much better episode no offense to this guy, but we heard more about his relationship problems than his job.
I remember doing AQI threat finance in 08/09. What an experience that was.
Great interview!
everyone knows the most secretive unit is zulu force, it's so secret you don't know your in it.
Some specialize in CQB and HR. Some specialize in Intel Collection. Zulu Force specializes in ZJs. If you have to ask....
What is Zulu Force?
Where can one find the art of the solider firing the m4 on the wall on the right
So what's more secretive than the ISA and CAG's reconnaissance group?
It’s called COMTECH and it is part of the Great Skills program. Jack Murphy wrote an article about a HUMINT collector who worked for the unit and committed suicide. There are literally around 3 or 4 pages of info on COMTECH in the public domain.
In tension pneumothorax air gets in the thoracic cavity, doesn't come out and actually accumulates pressing initially the lung and eventually the heart and major vessels

As a mortarman that 120 story made me cringe. That's super fucked.
Just barely starting the episode and this fellow sounds like a politician. His tone and cadence.
God forbid it's ever published! You and I should talk.
Just let the Guest of honor (Dave in this case) fully articulate his story ffs. Ya'll keep cutting him off while he's trying to finish that sentence, it was an extremely annoying experience listening to this, probably my first and last time tuning in to this channel. I keep finding myself yelling at the Team House crew to shut the hell up throughout the interview. As rubbish as his story telling is, we're listening to his POV and story, not your constantly insufferable tangents that repeatedly off-tracks the poor guy's attempt to tell it as it is or how he thinks he sees it.

While not a military member, I served 20 years in law enforcement in several special operations units. Similar background in terms of family background, father was a B-26 Marauder CO at 23, E&E for over 2 months with help of French Resistance. Brother who is a Citadel grad, 1st Group primarily ops out of Laos, other brother Khe Sanh during Tet. Your open discussion about the "Dark Place" is important for all who place Service Before Self...thanks!
Law Enforcement never gets to rotate out of the war zone. Its 24/7/365 for them (and family).
@vettevegas what war zone? Cut the nonsense.
@@wordlife9257 I get where you're coming from, there are distinct differences in the use of the term, but none the less the level of violence, poverty, tribalism etc. in U.S. cities with generational violence have much in common with very bad places where military combat operations are conducted. Obviously significant differences in what can kill you, but the use of those improvised devices of death are growing in the U.S. Go to war with the cartels and see that spin up drastically.
Informational correction, the group in the siege of Zamboanga was the MNLF not the ASG.
There were a series of armed protests by the MNLF across Mindanao. The issue was the MILF and government of the Philippines were negotiating a peace deal that would end the governmental entity run by the MNLF and hand all authority to MILF.
There were no issues in any of the other cities in Mindanao, however, the mayor of Zamboanga refused to allow the protest leading to the siege.
The ASG is primarily armed 2:1 to 3:1 Armalites-M14, supported by M203s and a couple of belt feed weapons.
Radullan’s group used extended 50-60 round STANG style mags for some of the Armalites to take the place of an automatic rifleman.
They are part time asg, part time mnlf...
@@monsammy now your talking fluidity of individuals and groups showing up to the party.
There are entirely different threats to peace and stability presented by ejecting the MNLF from power and excluding it from government than the activities of the ASG.
Question team house, is SOT-A higher trained then a 18-E im curious to know.
Trained in what? They're two seperate fields. A SOT-A is going to be higher trained in all things intelligence. An 18E is going to be better trained at GB things. They both work with equipment on the EM spectrum but again, different jobs and different missions.
They're two different jobs with different skill sets.
So ...Why does one person become a full-blown "Sociopath" and the other a reasonably adjusted Soldier...?
Eventually, the Soldier grieves.
That's it, no great mystery.

Jack says this unit Fielding worked in is more classified than the ISA/TFO, but all I can gather is it is a HUMINT collection special access program tasked with collecting tactical and strategic intel on national security issues like a roving HUMINT collection unit.

What city in Massachusetts is this dude from?
The worst possible thing that ever happened to Law Enforcement is the intentional recruiting of operations and lower regular deployed enlisted and officers from the US Armed Forces.
In your opinion why?
@@mikesmith7497 because the tendency is to militarize civilian Law Enforcement. The more a body is militarized the more distant it becomes from the civilians with whom they interact. The military is there to fight and discharge the enemy, and when applied almost everyone is the enemy. In recent years, and thanks in large part to us winning the already affirmed Constitutional Right to video LE in the application of their duties, we find an increasingly distant and entitled LE body, that is often lying and making up laws, as well as entrapping people through misdirection. LE has been engaging in a social psyop against the people whom they used to be sworn to protect and defend, but that has long been discarded. Now they exist to enforce themselves as an authority that when you stand up for your rights, they instantly escalate every engagement, under the same tired lying and unlawful tropes of: I smell (name your offense here - drugs, alcohol), showing your license (papers) even when a motor vehicle is not involved, why are you being so confrontational, you seem nervous, why are you sweating (after telling you to cut off your car in 95 degree temps, and your gun is unlawfully drawn), you're being (most often) unlawfully detained, stop resisting (when no such resisting exists), all attempts to dissolve responsibility for officers violations once a case heads to trial, or to establish probable cause.
I support ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT when lawfully and constitutionally applied, but I will never ever support a Totalitarian Marxist, or Nazi Police State.
We already got our Gold Stars issued on our drivers license (a conformation that you are entered in the national database, and all associated records are being fed to your profile, I'm just waiting for the next shoe to fall.
