First and foremost, I’d like to say thank you for your service. You all are heroes. I was still a senior in high school at the time of 3-4 October 1993. Seen the movie and did a lot of reading of the events of the Battle of Mogadishu. I’m sure driving thru the city under fire was like trying to sweep the ocean back with a broom. The scene that gives me goosebumps is where your character says to Thomas “Everyone feels the same way you do. It’s what you do right now, that makes a difference.” I try to live by that. Never had the opportunity to serve because of a medical condition. Two older brothers and cousin that served in the Army. All 3 retired now. One was a Tanker in Desert Storm, a Company Clerk, and the other Airborne who served in Panama.
Hi, Mr.Struecker. I am from Malaysia. Recently, netflix just uploaded a movie called "MALBATT MISI BAKARA" This is the event from Mogadishu in the point of view of Malaysian personnel. Can you give a review on that movie?
