An exotic weapon with an actual exotic catalyst that’s pretty cool for its weapon given the pick your poison intrinsic trait, also it being called string theory is cool 😎
I had it drop in a private crucible match. We were just in there goofing around testing out some of the new abilities and the catalyst dropped.

I saw a llama video that shows Final Warning gets the increased precision damage even on a half charge and it will carry that bonus damage through the first 15 shots in the mag. Based on that fact, you’d be able to get even more dps especially since you’re getting ammo refunded back to around the 10 mark. Kinda nutty
also once you do the initial charge...just start spamming the trigger and dump all 20 shots instead of charging again after the 10 shot burst

When Lightfall came out, I had a science project that needed me to do research on anything, so I went with if the multiverse is real. String theory came up in my research and I unironically used a picture of strand to show it in my presentation. Funny how that circles back
Cross, about the ammo regeneration, from what I've observed while playing it goves you more ammo back if you hit multiple people with the hipfire mode but it could also work with the precision if you hit multiple people
Last season I started using this thing in onslaught and loved it and didn’t realize how much of a beast it is. Super excited now that it has a catalyst

I want devils ruin to get a catalyst, and it would just reload the gun automatically if you hit all crits in a charge shot so you can Lazer more and reload less

Bungie said in a twab a few weeks before TFS that they want to give the last word a catalyst. They just don't have an idea on what it'll be. I think 4th times the charm should be the catalyst if you ask me

Been using this all season, and it is soooo solid, especially in my Warlock Swarmer build! (Especially with the artifact mod "Threaded Blast")

I have a bond with spirit of the swarm and spirit of inmost light. I've never really ventured out to make a strand build on my own, but I'm definitely brainstorming atm.
I may craft The Call with demo and hatchling or just use Final Warning as my 1st weapon selection for the build.

Was legit telling my buddy a few weeks ago if it had 10 more bullets and rampage that'd be dope, but this is even better. Got my drop from playing comp and immediately went to grasp and unlocked it. This thing shreds 👌
I gotta tell you cross. you have got to use Final warning on prismatic hunter and stylish executioner. every unraveling burst will make you invisible. its super fun. I combine it with ascention so my helicopter makes me invisible too, and with radiant dance machines i have near infinite helicopter spins
God I really need to get my warlock the exotic bond unlocked because I can see so many builds here. Rad review.
Can we see a Bastion review? It now has both one two punch and trench barrel as a kinetic fusion. Would love to see a breakdown.
It’s fun, chunks minibosses in normal content and can kill unstops in expert lost sectors pretty easily. haven’t seen the numbers on the melee damage increase but it feels like a one-two punch kinda deal. I feel like the “bonus charge speed” from meleeing isn’t much but you can absolutely tell the damage boost is active.
Learned this episode it can lock onto the dynamite from Gunpowder Gamble.
I got the catalyst from a strike, and this jas always been my favorite exotic. It feels so powerful, and paired with thread of isolation for sever its a beast. The part that refunds ammo is a creative addition that is so potent that i can get 3 ten round bursts in one mag. Try thread of isolation, its neat
The Smart Pistol in Titanfall was one of my favorite guns of all time, and Final Warning is nearly identical in concept. It really made me enjoy strand builds.

This gun single handedly carried me through the legend version of the Lightfall campaign. It's my favorite gun in the game.

As a final warning enthusiast, the catalyst is great! But bro all I wanted was for the recoil to end up in a 5 or at least have deterministic recoil where it goes vertically up 😭 I love to use it to troll ppl in crucible but sometimes I just want to use it normally 😔

When I saw your build with Weavewalk on warlock with this, I thought it was gonna be mid. Turns out, that shit carried me thru the legendary campaign and I LOVE that build. 😭🙌🏾✊🏾
Also when gambit was in rotation i got the catalyst for That stasis scout rifle and for this strand sidearm

Can you show everyone what the Ergo Sum catalyst does next, curious on your load out with it and which perk I should use? Currently using Gathering Light on Void, but fortunately Catalyst can move to Solar or Arc if needed.
It makes Transcendent grenade hits give the sword ammo.

Fun fact! Spam-clicking after releasing the trigger to fire a burst lets you fire additional bullets that will be affected by Pick Your Poison. 15 shots in one burst is pretty consistent for me. This means the ammo refund is actually huge for sustained DPS!
Comp might have a higher chance, it says catalysts rare, although I think it specifies old? Not sure if final warning is included in that, but I got mine week 1 in my comp placement matches

This weapon here (Not the Call) carried me through my solo legend campaign run. I got my catalyst from doing Gambit runs after striking out in the strike playlist for like over an hour. Actually I've been dominating my solo adventures lately using double sidearms.......Final Warning and Indebted Kindness.

Getting an extra burst feels great. The only thing extra i would've liked is maybe ten more meters of lock on range. Im almost at 8k kills with it.
I haven't stopped using FW ever since obtaining it back in Lightfall. This, Cryothesia and Indebted are my top 3 most used sidearms in the game lol.

By far and away my favorite primary in the game at the moment ever since I got it last year. At around 62% before I can slot it.

Got the catalyst to drop on my 4th crucible match this season. 5 or 6 matches later, I finally got wicked implements cata to drop. The RNG on the drops is so random sometimes...
Have they fixed the quest to get it?
This catalyst makes Final Warning feel *so* much better to use. I never really liked it much because it felt like half the time I spent using it was reloading it. The returned ammo to the magazine makes it so, with a little RNG and decent aim, you can just keep going and going.

I got this a week ago. I was super confused when no one talked about it.
In regards to pvp, its more effective to use hipfire over ads. You take advantage of cover and once you get a lock you bend bullets around corners. Works best with heat rises warlock who can get some nasty angles.
That The call side arm is probably one of my favorite weapons!! I hardly ever use strand in fact I haven't completed all the strand fragments at all. I've got a very basic ass strand build and that gun makes that shit such a blast to play with!!

@marvdatboi Listen man lol. I was not a big fan of strand so I just didn't get I to it. But last night I was doing some mission in the pale heart and I was having a legit blast playing with Strand. So much so that I decided to complete and get all the strand aspects and fragments. Truly I didn't know it was that fun to use! I'm a Stasis and Void fan!

I wouldve like it more if it gave more or range or charge time when damaging a marked target or when you unravel them
So much in this new expansion. I haven’t felt this overwhelmed since Taken King. It’s a little daunting
I wrote this thing off so hard when Lightfall first came out. I just couldn’t get into the rhythm of using it. Fast forward to Season of the Wish and the Horde Shuttle artifact mod… yeah, it pretty much became my favourite exotic overnight. It’s my highest killing weapon in the game now. I was jumping for joy when I saw that it had a catalyst slot.

I think bungie should fix the tool tip to say that it fire when fully charged not when you release the trigger. Also after watching this I realize my frustration when trying to use this in onslaught last season was due partly to the badly worded tool tip and also not realizing as I'm using it that it has multiple ways it fires based on how your firing it.
This might be confirmation bias, but I've had catalysts drop for weapons I've recently used within a few strikes. I didn't have the Monte Carlo catalyst for years because I didn't use the weapon, I used it in a Titan build last week and it dropped.

It literally dropped on the first gambit match I played after Final Shape reset. Was using it on my strand warlock prior to the catalyst coming out and it's a solid weapon, but hard to justify using it over The Call now that we have that weapon craftable in game. Don't use this in pvp either, you'll get smoked by the time you wait for the lock on, lol.
Yeah I got the catty randomly on like day 2 of the expansion and immediately took it into Shuro Chi to get that thing DONE
Got lucky and it dropped on my first crucible game after it released. Such a fun weapon.
The only reason why I don't like final warning is my special ammo and heavy ammo weapons feel useless :(
you didnt mention the tap-fire trick that lets you increase your DPS by around 50%
I was wondering why I don't see this thing very often, but once you said "lightfall campaign" it all made sense
tbf, the campaign wasn't that bad. the writing feels a bit weird, but strand really carried it.
I unlocked Final warning by just playing the game. Like I wasn’t trying to. I got it, vaulted it. Until onslaught. I started using it in onslaught and damn it cooks. Such an S tier weapon I love it. ❤
This is great for warlocks with their new exotic chest(needle marks targets).
I have been farming strikes for the Monte cat. Two resets in and nothing so far.
It annoys the f out of me when someone takes my tangle out of my rotation. I don't grab my fireteam's tangle when I know it's not mine.
I wish Telesto had its catalyst reworked to do something similar with ammo being returned
for mine, the catalyst dropped when i turn in the radiolite at the end of the echoes activity.

If you want another older weapon getting some love in Final Shape definitely check out Wild Style, Bungie gave it an updated perk pool and it is cookin' now.

Final warning has been my favorite exotic since final shape came out. I use it as a special weapon
If you want a sidearm for pvp devils ruin is .30. Mostly cus you can fully precharge
I was trying to snag that for hours on strikes. Really hindered my own power leveling progress trying for it..
Kinda wish it had anti barrier for the catalyst. But this is still really good.
As a Titan or Warlock I cannot reccomend more than I already do, ariel exotics like Lion Rampart and that warlock solar one because being able to lock on while your in the air is amazingly fun on pvp
Lion Rampant is good but the warlock one might be meh since you stay still completely. Heat rises would be better

This Catalyst dropped after a PVP CUSTOM game where a friend and I were damage testing another weapon. I set the timer to like 10 minutes and after it was over it dropped haha what the heck?

The only Sidearm to make me vault my Rat King. They made my favorite Sidearm even better, gonna be my first crucible gun with 1k kills(currently at 700+)!
Off topic but this just came to mind: what if they add weapon perks… to the artifact? Think about it: Kinetic Tremors artifact mod, it applies Kinetic Tremors to ALL weapons.

We need more dirty world exotics like rat king. Can rat king get a rework to have the kills before reloading increase the duration of the invisibility please? Almost like a invisibility multi killclip

I've found in the past when reaching a 100+ season pass level i have been rewarded Catalysts after running Gm's/nightalls.
I got both (Tesselation and Final Warning) from the same game win in teh crucible, and I did like 3 til they dropped
As a physics major…. I am obligated to never take this weapon off now…
What's funny is a coworker challenged me to a 1v1 in crucible, the very first private match he camped with a grenade launcher on clash with momentum rules. As soon as he won we returned to orbit and GOT THE CATALYST. I didn't even know private matches count...
Legit I've been using this over absolutely everything, it's a primary, special, and in certain cases a g.d heavy- lord have mercy if they ever add an exotic that buff sidearm use in any way

I know prismatic is the focus this season but honestly between this catalyst and some of the new exotics like Mataiodoxia, wishful ignorance and Euphony strand builds are eating pretty good as well
